Abstract: A text processing method includes: word segmentation is performed on a first text to be processed to determine multiple words of the first text; one word is removed from the first text to obtain one second text; each word is removed from the first text one by one to obtain a second text set; the first text and each second text in the second text set are analyzed respectively to obtain a first tree structure of the first text and a second tree structure of each second text; and a summary text of the first text is determined according to the first tree structure and each second tree structure.
Abstract: In aspects of text importance spatial layout, a computing device implements a processing device to receive a text importance vector that includes designations of visual properties for constituent words of a text phrase. Spatial layouts of the text phrase are determined, with each spatial layout being a different displayable representation of the constituent words arranged based on the designations of the visual properties in the text importance vector for each of the constituent words. Feature vectors are generated, each feature vector represents a spatial layout of the text phrase and includes measurement properties of each of the constituent words in the respective spatial layout. The spatial layouts are ranked based on a metric that indicates a degree of similarity of the measurement properties of each of the constituent words in a respective spatial layout matching to the visual properties for the constituent words as designated in the text importance vector.

Various other systems and methods are also disclosed.
Abstract: Techniques for a comic book feature are described herein. A visual data stream of a video may be parsed into a plurality of frames. Scene boundaries may be determined to generate a scene using the plurality of frames where a scene includes a subset of frames. A key frame may be determined for the scene using the subset of frames. An audio portion of an audio data stream of the video may be identified that maps to the subset of frames based on time information. The key frame may be converted to a comic image based on an algorithm. First dimensions and placement for a data object may be determined for the comic image. The data object may include the audio portion for the comic image. A comic panel may be generated for the comic image that incorporates the data object using the determined first dimensions and the placement.

Abstract: Disclosed herein includes a system, a method, and a device for localizing and classifying content in a data set. A device can provide a sequence of portions of a data set to a neural network to generate a plurality of activations. Each activation of the plurality of activations can include at least one value from a layer of the neural network. The device can apply an attention vector to each activation of the plurality of activations to generate a sequence of values. A normalization function can be applied to the sequence of values to generate a sequence of attention scores according to the sequence of values. The device can identify or localize one or more portions in the sequence of portions of the data based in part on the sequence of attention scores.
Abstract: Message composition and customization in a user's handwriting style includes obtaining electronic source text from a user, the electronic source text to be sent to a recipient, ascertaining properties of the electronic source text, the properties including words used in the electronic source text and a context of the electronic source text, and the context including an emotion of the electronic source text, and building an electronic message based on the ascertained properties, the electronic message including the electronic source text presented graphically in a handwriting style of the user.

Abstract: A method for executing a function of an electronic device is provided. The method includes the operations of displaying a virtual clock user interface (UI) indicating a virtual time, and an icon list UI including icons corresponding to a plurality of functions, respectively, acquiring first input data according to a user input for selecting one time by using the displayed virtual clock UI, and second input data according to a user input for selecting one icon from the icon list UI, performing control, on the basis of the first input data and the second input data, so that a function corresponding to the selected icon is executed at the selected one time, and highlighting the selected icon as the virtual time reaches the one time, and executing the function corresponding to the selected icon as the current time reaches the one time.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and media for presenting contextually relevant information are provided. In some implementations, the method includes: receiving information associated with a user of a user device from multiple data sources, where the user device comprises a display; identifying, without user intervention, a relevant document based on the received information associated with the user of the user device; determining that a new browser window or a new browser tab has been opened by a browser application being executed by the user device; and causing, without user intervention, the relevant document to be presented using the new browser window or new browser tab.
Abstract: A document creation assistance apparatus includes an obtaining unit, an analyzing unit, an extracting unit, and a presenting unit. The obtaining unit obtains a first document. The analyzing unit calculates multiple features related to layout of the first document, the calculation being based at least in part on types of components of the first document. The extracting unit extracts one or more templates from among multiple templates based on the plurality of features related to the layout of the first document, the one or more templates each having layout similar to the layout of the first document. The presenting unit presents the extracted one or more templates to a user.

Abstract: A computer implemented method for identifying one or more data elements in an input data stream formed from an input data structure using processing enabled by a processor-executable instruction can be stored on a non-transitory computerized storage medium. This stored method includes identifying a plurality of candidate named entities in one or more input document strings; identifying a plurality of enumerable markers in the one or more input document strings; associating at least one candidate named entity with at least one associated enumerable marker; associating at least one proximity string with at least one associated enumerable marker; determining a plurality of named entity descriptions based on the proximity strings; and providing the output data.
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a non-transitory machine-readable medium that stores a program. Upon receiving an email from a client device, the program determines a datamap from a plurality of datamaps that corresponds to the email. The program further uses the determined datamap to parse the email and extract data from the email. Based on the extracted data from the email, the program also determines that the email is a cancelation for a first event. The program further determines that the cancelation for the first event matches a second event of a collection of events. The program also associates the cancelation for the first event with the second event of the collection of events.
