In embodiments, an indication is provided that one or more infusions need a line check. A selection of on the one or more infusion is received. Information corresponding to the selection of the one of the one or more infusions is received from an electronic medical record (EMR) and communicated to a corresponding infusion pump. The infusion pump then provides a visual indication of the line check.

Abstract: A healthcare information system, method and computer program product are provided to receive, process and output healthcare data in compliance with data use restrictions associated with the healthcare data, even in instances in which data projections are assembled from the data elements. In regards to a healthcare information system, processing circuitry is configured to assemble the data projection from a plurality of data elements. At least some data elements have different data use restrictions associated therewith. The processing circuitry is also configured to determine a combined data use restriction for the data projection based upon the data use restrictions of the data elements from which the data projection is assembled. The processing circuitry is further configured to associate metadata with the data projection including the combined data use restriction. Further, the processing circuitry is configured to control access to the data projection in accordance with the combined data use restriction.

Features of the received information are extracted, and interactions between the one or more substances and a new substance for administration are identified based on the extracted features. An augmented reality display may include product information and/or payment information images displayed over an image of one or more real world background objects. The augmented reality display may be displayed on a display of a mobile user device such as a smartphone or tablet or on a structure of a vehicle such as a vehicle windshield. The real world background objects may include a merchant store. The product information and/or the payment information may be overlaid on the merchant store as viewed through a vehicle windshield or as viewed in an image of the merchant store captured by a camera of the user device. The user may be provided with the ability to select one or more items for purchase, make one or more payments, or execute other transactions by interacting with the augmented reality display.

Abstract: A mobile device and a server exchange information in response to the mobile device detecting a proximity beacon. Upon detecting the proximity beacon, the mobile device initiates a web service call to the server. A mobile device user will indicate a choice whether to opt-in upon registration. If the user has opted in, the server will retrieve additional information about the user including prescription information. The server will transmit prescription information and other marketing information to the mobile device. The server may be configured to receive additional information from the mobile device, for example, a request for a prescription to be refilled.

Abstract: A method for packaging a medication including receiving a prescription for a patient including a name of the medication for the patient and a name of the patient, wherein the patient is one of a plurality of family members. The method further comprises receiving a family member listing from the patient identifying one or more other ones of the plurality of family members, assigning a color to the patient that differs from any of one or more colors assigned to any of the other ones of the plurality of family members identified in the family member listing, and packaging the medication for delivery to the patient including securing a color-coded member to the container for the medication. The color-coded member is the color assigned to the patient.

Portions of the clinical trial data are identified based on differing data sources. Relevant information is extracted from the portions. Socioeconomic data, demographics data, and epidemiological data are received and combined into a common format. Incorrect address data is corrected and the clinical trial data, socioeconomic data, demographics data, and epidemiological data are standardized. In response, an initial list is generated. The initial list includes associated principle investigators and clinical trial sites associated with planned clinical trials overlaid on the clinical trial data, the socioeconomic data, the demographics data, and the epidemiological data.

A user interaction analyzer invokes a first set of ECCD rules associated with the user based on the first user interaction to determine medical data categories that the user is likely interested in. The first set of ECCD rules was generated by an ECCD engine based on prior user interactions of the user. A data retrieval module accesses medical data servers corresponding to the medical data categories to retrieve medical data of the medical data categories. A view generator integrates the retrieved medical data to generate one or more views of second medical information and transmits the views of second medical information to a client device to be displayed on a display of the client device.

Abstract: Approaches presented herein enable performing a health analysis of a user using a smart floor mat. Specifically, a sensory array of the smart floor mat collects static and dynamic pressure data for capturing the movement and force exerted by a user's feet as the user walks across the smart floor mat. A healthcare analysis is then performed by comparing this current measurement data against the user's historical measurement data and expected results to generate a healthcare insight such as a trend, pattern, or deviation. The healthcare insight can predict or indicate a health issue. If a deviation exceeding a predefined permissible threshold exists, a healthcare professional can be notified.

Abstract: The present invention provides a comprehensive tissue management system for transplantable materials like tissues and organs. The tracking portion of the system prompts and verifies that staff members of a medical establishment like a hospital have handled, stored, transported, reconstituted, and used the tissue or organ materials in a safe and regulatory-compliant manner from the point of receipt to the point of issuance or surgical use throughout the hospital's organization. The tracing portion of the system creates an integral record that documents which hospital staff members have provided which processing steps to the tissue or organ, any associated materials used in conjunction with such tissue or organ, and an identification of the tissue or organ that was transplanted or implanted inside a patient. Such a system will enable adverse reaction investigations for transplant patients, and recalls of transplantable materials.
