  • Patent number: 10171687
Abstract: Variety of approaches to provide content and attachment printing for a communication are described. A productivity application initiates operations to provide content and attachment printing for a communication upon detecting an intent of a recipient to execute a print operation associated with the communication. Next, a content of the communication or attachment(s) associated with the communication is identified. A print menu is also provided. The print menu includes options for the print operation while displaying the content and representations of the attachment(s) together. In response to detecting a hover action on the print menu, an option for the print operation is highlighted. The option is associated with the content of the communication and/or attachment(s) associated with the communication. Upon receiving a selection of the option for the print operation, the print operation is performed without downloading the attachment(s) to a local storage.

  • Patent number: 10140995
Abstract: The present technique relates to a decoding device, a decoding method, an encoding device, an encoding method, and a program which can obtain a high-quality realistic sound. The encoding device stores speaker arrangement information in a comment region in a PCE of an encoded bit stream and stores a synchronous word and identification information in the comment region such that other public comments and the speaker arrangement information stored in the comment region can be distinguished from each other. When an encoded bit stream is decoded, it is determined whether the speaker arrangement information is stored on the basis of the synchronous word and the identification information stored in the comment region. Audio data included in the encoded bit stream is output according to the arrangement of the speakers corresponding to the determination result. The present technique can be applied to an encoding device.

  • Patent number: 10033906
Abstract: An image processing apparatus converts multi-valued data into multi-valued quantized data having fewer levels than the multi-valued data. The apparatus includes an acquisition unit that acquires threshold values, a provisional quantization unit that sets a provisional quantized value with respect to the multi-valued data, and a quantization unit that decides a quantized value with respect to the multi-valued data based on a result of comparing comparative multi-valued data for the multi-valued data to the threshold value. The quantization unit decides the quantized value so that in a case where the multi-valued data is the same intermediate value, pixels having the value larger than provisional quantized value increase, pixels having the provisional quantized value do not change in number, and pixels having the value smaller than the provisional quantized value decrease in a designated pixel area as the value of the multi-valued data rises.

  • Patent number: 10021275
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes a control circuit and an image processing circuit. The control circuit divides a target image stored in a memory into predetermined units to generate a plurality of block image, generates rendering determination information for each of the plurality of block images, and stores the rendering determination information in the memory. The rendering determination information indicates whether the block image has a pixel value to be rendered. The image processing circuit acquires the generated rendering determination information for at least one block image of the target image from the memory, acquires, if the rendering determination information indicates that the block image has the pixel value to be rendered, the block image corresponding to the rendering determination information from the memory, and performs image processing on the acquired target image to generate rendering information for rendering the target image.
