  • Patent number: 8550484
Abstract: A bicycle headstock assembly may include a lower member adapted to be attached to a steering rod of the bicycle, and an upper member adjustably connected to the lower member. A pivot joint may be formed at a connection of the lower and upper members respectively. A handle bar clamp may be connected to the upper member and extending away therefrom. A primary fastener may pass through a first location of the pivot joint while an auxiliary fastener may pass through a second location of the pivot joint respectively. In this way, the primary and auxiliary fasteners may cooperate to permit the upper member to selectively pivot and lock at alternate positions relative to the lower member.

  • Patent number: 8382142
Abstract: A trailer which is sized to be towed behind a motorcycle. The trailer includes a cargo bay for storing luggage, spare parts, tools or other cargo. The trailer is preferably towed behind a motorcycle in a group of motorcycles. In the unfortunate event that one of the motorcycles breaks down or a rider is unable to continue operating his or her motorcycle, the cargo bay can be converted to a towing configuration for towing the disabled motorcycle. This allows the group of motorcycles to continue riding, and the disabled motorcycle can be towed to a repair location at a more convenient time for the entire group of riders.

  • Patent number: 8342552
Abstract: Multiple pivot points on a bicycle frame provide for automatic adjustment of the saddle of the bicycle during usage of the bicycle within a range of positions. The bicycle will normally position the saddle in a neutral position area of the range of positions during steady pedaling over level ground. During sprinting the bicycle will position the saddle in a sprinting position area of the range of positions where the saddle raises and moves forward to maintain contact with the rider to support the rider. During downhill riding the bicycle will position the saddle in a downhill position area of the range of positions where the saddle drops and moves rearward while supporting the rider. A saddle locking assembly permit the rider to prevent the saddle from raising to permit the rider to raise off of the saddle when desired.

  • Patent number: 8333401
Abstract: A dual chassis with multi-directional transmission includes a front chassis and a rear chassis that can be united to function as a traditional unitary chassis or can be separated to become two independently, but connected, chassis that can traverse uneven terrain during ground movement. The multi-directional transmission serves to increase the distance between the two chassis and enable them to travel at differing vertical and horizontal angles with respect to the surface of the earth. As part of the multi-directional transmission, a central multi-directional mechanism connects a medial portion of said front chassis to a medial portion of said rear chassis to selectively allow for the independent horizontal and vertical movement of said front and rear chassis when traversing uneven terrain.
