Abstract: Provided is an image folder transmission/playing device which can transmit an image folder regardless of whether or not a name of the image folder complies with DCF standard and further can display an image file included in the image folder on a monitor. A CPU determines whether or not there is an album setting folder file in the image folder. When there is no album setting folder file, the CPU creates the album setting folder file in the image folder included in the album setting folder file. The CPU transmits the image folder and displays an electronic album on the monitor in accordance with information included in the album setting folder file. Accordingly, a user can view the electronic album with a user's favorite layout.
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for setting a section of a multimedia file in a mobile device are provided. The apparatus may allow a user to select a section of multimedia file in an intuitive and simple manner. After selecting a multimedia file, the mobile device activates a section selection function of the multimedia file and displays a section selection mark for setting a section. The mobile device then selects the section of the multimedia file by moving the section selection mark along a progress bar indicating a total play time of the selected multimedia file.
Abstract: An example method includes designating a corner region of a display device as active, and outputting, for display at the display device, a user interface including at least one element positioned at a first location substantially diagonally opposite and at a first distance from the active corner region. The method further includes receiving an indication of a gesture interpreted by the computing device as originating within the active corner region and terminating within a center region of the display device, and responsive to receiving the indication of the gesture, outputting, for display at the display device, an updated user interface including the element positioned at a second location a second distance from the active corner region.
Abstract: An approach is provided that captures an admin-console context. The first admin-console context includes a set of state attribute values corresponding to elements that are included in a context hierarchy of a console software application that is being executed at a computer system. A number of events that occur at the admin-console are recorded in a memory. A Reusable User Interaction (RUI) Script is stored in a nonvolatile storage area. The RUI Script includes the captured admin-console context and a sequence of the recorded plurality events. A collection of RUI Scripts are stored in a central knowledge repository for reuse. Search the RUI Scripts repository for reuse, using the current admin-console context.

Abstract: An approach is provided for sharing the virtual workspaces of a plurality of user devices. One of the plurality of devices is designated as the only active device. The active device submits an update of the virtual workspace of the active device. Then an update of the virtual workspaces of the other devices is initiated that includes the workspace of the active device. A request from one of the other devices to become active is granted and the previously active device is undesignated as active.

Abstract: Systems and methods for displaying graphical indications to indicate dependencies between scripts are disclosed. For example, a computer-implemented method is used to identify script dependencies between form objects. The form objects are part of a form created in a form design application. The form can be used by a user in a form rendering application. The computer-implemented method includes identifying with a processing device a script that performs a function. The method also includes determining with the processing device references in the script to plural form objects. The method further includes flagging the plural form objects corresponding to the references as related form objects. The method additionally includes rendering on a display device a graphical indication of the related form objects.
Abstract: A method is provided for visualizing communications in a social setting. A graphical virtual social venue is provided. Users of one or more social networks are invited to enter the venue and to participate in and share a social experience. Users are graphically represented within the virtual social venue and are able to communicate with each other. When users communicate with each other, the communications are tracked and visually represented in the virtual social venue with visual overlays. The visual overlays signify communicatively active parts of the social venue while keeping private the contents of the communication.
Abstract: A method of controlling a mobile terminal, the method including displaying, via a controller, at least one first function icon on a touchscreen of the mobile terminal, assigning, via the controller, a first input gesture to the displayed first function icon such that a first function corresponding to the first function icon is executed when the first input gesture is performed on the mobile terminal, and removing, via the controller, the first function icon from the touchscreen of the mobile terminal after the first gesture has been assigned to the first function icon.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for displaying a graphical object in a grid located within in a graphical user interface (GUI) environment is disclosed. In one embodiment, the method for displaying a graphical object in a grid located in a GUI environment comprises positioning the graphical object in a cell of the grid, where a dimension of the graphical object is larger than a corresponding dimension of the cell, and repositioning the graphical object depending upon a position of a pointer of the GUI environment within the cell along the corresponding dimension.
Abstract: An editing method includes: detecting a selection of first and second clip portions of a source media depiction, generating corresponding first and second block icons and snapping hands-free the first and second block icons across the screen to a linear queue so that the blocks are snugly adjacent, detecting a move of the first or second block icon relative to one another substantially along the queue, and if the first or second block icon overlaps the other by substantially one half of the other block icon, reversing displayed positions in the queue of the first and second block icons.
Abstract: A method for saving and restoring collaborative applications to a selected earlier time, may include saving, by a processing device, content for each collaborative application of a plurality of collaborative applications as a user uses each of the collaborative applications. The method may additionally include restoring each collaborative application to a selected earlier time in response to the selected earlier time being selected by the user. The method may further include presenting the content of each collaborative application at the selected earlier time to the user in response to each collaborative application being restored to the selected earlier time, wherein each collaborative application is presented in an original context from the selected earlier time.

Abstract: A method for searching and ranking professional profiles includes a profile ranking tool that assigns a numeric value to a professional's prestige and competence, called an overall quality score. Different weights are assigned to several different factors that rank a professional based on attributes such as one's peer rating, quality of education, breadth and depth of experience and the quality of work product.
Abstract: Technology is described for debugging in a multi-processor environment. An example system can include a plurality of process icons representing processes executing on compute nodes. A plurality of relationship arc icons between the process icons can represent messages being sent between source processes and destination processes on the compute nodes. A tabular display control can have rows to display attributes for relationship arc icons representing the messages being sent. In addition, a grouping module can be used to identify groups of messages that are related and to highlight relationship arc icons which are part of a group.
