  • Patent number: 11052333
Abstract: A filtration system interconnection structure having manifold with a rotatable manifold magnet of correlated magnets, a shroud with alignment tracks, an actuating valve for water ingress, and a filter cartridge having a rotatable filter magnet of correlated magnets, where the manifold magnet and the filter magnet are in magnetic communication with one another when the filter cartridge is inserted with the shroud, and are at least partially rotatably compatible, where the manifold magnet rotates with the filter magnet until the manifold magnet experiences a rotational stop beyond a predetermined rotation of the filter magnet, thus allowing the filter magnet to shift polarity with respect to the manifold magnet and present a repulsion force for removal of the filter cartridge from the shroud.

  • Patent number: 11045755
Abstract: An in situ system of filter rejuvenation can be applied to a mechanical filter passing fluid contaminated by chemical and particulate materials such that the filter removes the contaminants from the flow by trapping the contaminants in a filter medium. A non-combustive infrared heating system gasifies the trapped contaminants without combustion and without emissions to the atmosphere, restoring the efficacy of the filtration medium.

  • Patent number: 11027986
Abstract: An environmental waste water filtering system, including a bucket, the inside of which tapers into a funnel portion that leads to a strainer. The funnel has an exit tube that extends 3 inches below the bucket wall and may be inserted into a drain such as a toilet drain pipe. The inside of the bucket and funnel portion forms a fluid debris chamber. When fluid containing particulate matter is poured into the fluid debris chamber, the particulate matter is removed from the fluid portion as the fluid passes through the strainer and then into the toilet drain pipe. Once all fluid drains from the fluid debris chamber, the captured debris may be poured into a trash bag and disposed of. Optionally, a disposable straining filter bag may be positioned in the fluid debris chamber so that even finer particulate matter is removed from the fluid for disposal with the bag.

  • Patent number: 10927143
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for decontaminating a biological material by partitioning and inactivation techniques. The process includes the formation of a three-layer liquid system (a-b-c), where the layers are placed one onto the other and are different from each other in density and/or miscibility properties. The upper layer (a) has an aqueous solution of the biological material to decontaminate; the lower layer (c) has the solution inactivating viruses, prions or bacteria; the intermediate layer (b), interposed between the upper and lower layers, separates and protects the biological material from the inactivating solution which has an organic solvent or a mixture of more such solvents, immiscible at least with the upper layer. Moreover, the invention provides specific indications about the density difference between the layers in order to preserve system stability and, at the same time, protect the efficiency of decontamination and the biological activity of the material undergoing decontamination.
