Abstract: A bicycle carrier which can be used with a camper that is pulled by a towing vehicle. The carrier has a first part which is secured to the top of the camper and which accepts the front wheels of the bikes, and a second part which is secured to the rear bumper of the carrier to secure the rear wheels of the bikes.

Abstract: A multi-purpose bag has a mesh pouch and a sleeve with a pair of ends. The pouch is attached along an annular seam to one of the ends of the sleeve. The other end of the sleeve has a closable mouth. Also included is a restricting feature for stowing the pouch to stop communication from inside the sleeve to inside the pouch. The multi-purpose bag can be used by stowing the pouch to stop communication from inside the sleeve to inside the pouch. The sleeve can at this time be at least partially filled before closing the sleeve.

Abstract: A sustainer for a roof rail which can be placed on a vehicle will be described. The sustainer includes a hollow sustaining body (1) with a floor plate (3). The floor plate (3) is engaged by a base (6) which is fastened to the floor plate (3) by a fastener (14), whereby the fastener (14) locally lies on the floor plate (3) and locally engages the base (6). They are held together by a threaded bolt (16) pulling the fastener (14) onto the inner surface of the floor plate (3).

Abstract: The invention is a bicycle rack that attaches to the tongue of a tent camper. The bicycle rack is attached to the tent camper with two plates that are placed on the top and bottom of the tongue. Then a bolt is placed through openings in both plates and tightened to the plates against the tongue of the tent camper. The bicycles are supported by posts attached to the top plate over the top of the tongue. The two vertical posts are braced at the top. Extending from the two vertical posts are horizontal rods that the bicycle is placed over to ride upon the rack. Bicycles can be placed on both sides of the rack. When it is necessary to raise the tent camper, the bicycle rack can be moved into a horizontal position so that it will not affect the raising of the tent camper.

Abstract: A concealment holster constructed from a support member sandwiched between a glove and thumb break member and a paddle member having outwardly extending wings. The lower portion of the glove and thumb break and the wings are worn beneath the trousers of the wearer below the waist with the handgun enclosure extending above the waist of the trousers in such a manner as to be easily concealed by a coat, sweater, windbreaker, or the like.

Abstract: A container holder for automotive use includes a mounting member wall having a recessed portion with an outwardly extending shelf. An outer member is pivotally mounted to the mounting member for pivotal movement between closed and open positions. The outer member carries container support means stored adjacent the recessed portion in the closed position and lying generally horizontal to support a container in the open position. The outer member includes a first pair of arcuate guide arms projecting from an upper portion of the outer member through laterally spaced slots formed in the wall adjacent laterally opposite sides of the recessed portion. An inner member includes a transverse guide portion connected at opposite lateral ends with a second pair of arcuate guide arms, extending through the slots and mounted for limited arcuate sliding motion of the inner member relative to the outer member.

Abstract: A storage device provides for the secure storage of a gun in a vehicle, includes a rectangular base plate and a box-like cover having a rectangular top and sidewalls that form a chamber for storing a gun. The sidewalls enclose a rectangular area that corresponds substantially to the area of the base plate so that the cover forms a close fit around the base plate, which has a planar central portion joined to and surrounded by upwardly bent elongated edge portions. The base plate and cover each include an aperture, each slightly offset from a center point of the base plate central portion and top cover, respectively, but in vertical alignment with each other and with an aperture formed by the trigger guard of a gun stored in the device. The storage device also includes a rotatable pin that is sized to pass through the apertures in the base plate and cover and through the trigger guard of a gun stored in the device.

Abstract: A multi-use belt that is designed to be used during sporting activities as well as in social environments. A carrying element and a ball holder may be attached to the belt. The carrying element is adapted to hold instruments for use in a sporting activity. The instruments are held horizontally so that sharp edges do not poke or irritate the user. The ball holder comprises at least one elastic ring that is formed from a helical spring. The carrying element and the ball holder hold objects close to the user's center of mass and the objects are firmly held so that there is little or no relative motion between the objects and the user.

Abstract: An anchorage device is intended for securing a load carrier on a load carrier strut which is disposed on a vehicle. The anchorage device includes an openable clamp (9) produced from a flexible material and a tensioning device (18). The tensioning device (18) extends through mutually overlapping end portions (10, 15) of the clamp (9). The clamp (9) is, in the open state, movable to a position surrounding the load carrier strut. On tightening of the tensioning device (18), the end portions (10, 15) are fixed against the load carrier. The one end portion (15) has a closed aperture through which the tensioning device (18) extends. The other end portion (10) has an open recess for accommodating the tensioning device (18). Each of the end portions have abuttable surfaces configured for abutting engagement.

Abstract: A firearm retaining apparatus operable to be carried on a user's belt member and positioned at a forward mid portion of the firearm user and having means thereon for retaining and supporting portions of a hunting rifle in vertical or horizontal positions. The firearm retaining apparatus includes 1) a main firearm retainer member of a U-shape and rigid construction; 2) a retainer and flap cover assembly of a flexible construction wrapped vertically about the main firearm retainer member; and 3) a front pocket and cartridge retainer assembly operable to be interconnected to itself and extended horizontally about the main firearm retainer member. The retainer and flap cover assembly is operable to be extended and covered about an outer surface of the main firearm retainer member and providing a rest for the hunting rifle thereon.

Abstract: A vehicle article carrier having a cross bar which may be locked and unlocked from a pair of side rails from a single side of the cross bar, and which may also be quickly and easily removed from the side rails without disassembly of the cross bar or the side rails. The vehicle article carrier comprises a pair of side rails and at least one adjustably positionable cross bar. The cross bar includes independent first and second components which are disposed at least partially within a sleeve of the cross bar. A single actuating lever having a camming boss extends through portions of each of the first and second components and simultaneously causes the first and second components to be retracted out of locking engagement with their respective side rails, thereby permitting the cross bar to be locked and unlocked relative to the side rails from one side of the vehicle.

Abstract: A flashlight holder and quick-release mechanism comprising a molded high impact resistant plastic unit to facilitate hands-free flashlight operation and quick-release use of the flashlight independent from the forearm mounted strap. The device additionally comprises straps of elastic and neoprene material sewn together to make a reinforced support strap with pocket areas. The molded plastic base unit, with radius curvature shape to the contours of a person's forearm, is mounted to the support strap using plastic rivets. A flashlight fits into the semi-circular portion of the upper part of the flashlight holder. It is attached to the base unit by utilizing a male-sided quick-release buckle with a dual push button release mechanism, which attaches to the base unit. The flashlight holder locks securely into the forearm mounted base unit to provide for a hands-free quick-release flashlight holder system.

Abstract: A vehicle article carrier including a cross bar having a pair of bracket assemblies at each end, where each bracket assembly includes a fixed jaw and a movable jaw which may be cooperatively clamped around a side rail of the article carrier system. The fixed jaw incorporates a keyed recess and the movable jaw incorporates a key. The construction of the keyed recess and the key enable the movable jaw to be pre-positioned so as to not interfere with placement of the cross bar onto the side rails during assembly. Clamping of each bracket assembly to its associated side rail is accomplished simply by turning a threaded fastener engaged with both jaw portions. The movable jaw is rotated automatically into alignment with the fixed jaw and its associated side rail. Further tightening of the fastening member automatically draws the movable jaw into clamping engagement with its associated side rail.

Abstract: The present invention 10 discloses an apparatus whereby whereby an individual 12 is able to conveniently carry a compact disc player 14 within the holster 16 of the present invention made from strap material which forms the various sides and layers of the present invention 10. Disclosed is a length of hook and loop material 18 attached to the ends of the frontal closure straps 20 of the compact disc player carrying case 10 and the compact disc player carrying case having securing means in the form of a loop 22 wherein the compact disc player carrying case can be attached to a belt 24 located around the waist of an individual. The strap 26 forms the bottom of the holster 16 and is attached to the loop 22 for being secured to a belt 24. Additional embodiments provide a compartment 40 within which additional compact discs 42 are stored and also a hood 44 is provided to protect the compact disc player 14 from the weather.

Abstract: The present invention comprises a serpentine tube which is wide enough to store a tennis ball and allow a tennis ball to roll or otherwise translate within the tube. The serpentine tube has an opening for receiving tennis balls and a dispenser for facilitating selective sequential removal a tennis ball. Gravity causes the tennis balls to roll to the bottom of the tube to a dispenser. The container may be worn by the user by conventional over the shoulder and around the waist straps. The container may be flipped to accommodate both right handed and left handed players. The container may also be pressurized to above atmospheric pressure to increase the life of the tennis balls contained therein.

Abstract: An article carrier includes a cross member rollingly engaging a pair of longitudinally extending side rails. The cross member has rollers that engage the side rails for reducing the amount of effort required to move the cross member along the side rails. A cross member lock mechanism is also disclosed having three distinct modes of operation: automatically re-locking, manually re-locking, and locked.

Abstract: An elongated band, suitable for use as a watch strap, belt, head band or luggage strap, is fabricated from a plurality of individual overlapping, and optionally interlocking, segments of leather, or leather-like material that are bonded together to form an upper or outer layer, which is in turn bonded to a conventional backing material, such as a band substrate. The assembled and finished band can be tooled to provide distinctive surface configurations of striking ornamental appearance; alternative configurations of the overlapping segments resemble metal expansion bands for wrist watches.

Abstract: Modular, firearm support cradles, an assembled rack and means for securing the cradles and rack to a variety of vehicle configurations. The rack includes a longitudinal frame member and from which project multiple padded cradles. Strap fasteners and lock means respectively restrain firearms and sundry paraphernalia to the cradles and rack. A telescoping expander bar assembly and mating extension arms permit a vehicle ceiling mount and/or roll bar mount of the rack. Cradles having sleeves which mate to the expander bar assembly facilitate user tailored mountings. A clamp plate assembly and mating extension arms permit a vertical divider mount of the rack.

Abstract: A bicycle carrying frame includes a first part having a first bar and a neck link extending transversely and inclinedly from the mediated portion of the bar which is connected to the trunk lid by strips. A second part has a second bar and a connecting link intersectionally connected to the second bar. The first end of the connecting link is connected to the neck link and the second bar contacts against the rear bumper of the vehicle. A third part is connected to the second end of the connecting link and has two rings connected to two ends thereof so that the bicycle wheels are respectively supported by the two rings.
