The multi-purpose bag can be used by stowing the pouch to stop communication from inside the sleeve to inside the pouch. The sleeve can at this time be at least partially filled before closing the sleeve.

    Abstract: The invention is a bicycle rack that attaches to the tongue of a tent camper. The bicycle rack is attached to the tent camper with two plates that are placed on the top and bottom of the tongue. Then a bolt is placed through openings in both plates and tightened to the plates against the tongue of the tent camper. The bicycles are supported by posts attached to the top plate over the top of the tongue. The two vertical posts are braced at the top. Extending from the two vertical posts are horizontal rods that the bicycle is placed over to ride upon the rack. Bicycles can be placed on both sides of the rack. When it is necessary to raise the tent camper, the bicycle rack can be moved into a horizontal position so that it will not affect the raising of the tent camper.

An inner member includes a transverse guide portion connected at opposite lateral ends with a second pair of arcuate guide arms, extending through the slots and mounted for limited arcuate sliding motion of the inner member relative to the outer member.

    Abstract: A storage device provides for the secure storage of a gun in a vehicle, includes a rectangular base plate and a box-like cover having a rectangular top and sidewalls that form a chamber for storing a gun. The sidewalls enclose a rectangular area that corresponds substantially to the area of the base plate so that the cover forms a close fit around the base plate, which has a planar central portion joined to and surrounded by upwardly bent elongated edge portions. The base plate and cover each include an aperture, each slightly offset from a center point of the base plate central portion and top cover, respectively, but in vertical alignment with each other and with an aperture formed by the trigger guard of a gun stored in the device. The storage device also includes a rotatable pin that is sized to pass through the apertures in the base plate and cover and through the trigger guard of a gun stored in the device.

The tensioning device (18) extends through mutually overlapping end portions (10, 15) of the clamp (9). The clamp (9) is, in the open state, movable to a position surrounding the load carrier strut. On tightening of the tensioning device (18), the end portions (10, 15) are fixed against the load carrier. The one end portion (15) has a closed aperture through which the tensioning device (18) extends. The other end portion (10) has an open recess for accommodating the tensioning device (18). Each of the end portions have abuttable surfaces configured for abutting engagement.

The cross bar includes independent first and second components which are disposed at least partially within a sleeve of the cross bar. A single actuating lever having a camming boss extends through portions of each of the first and second components and simultaneously causes the first and second components to be retracted out of locking engagement with their respective side rails, thereby permitting the cross bar to be locked and unlocked relative to the side rails from one side of the vehicle.

The molded plastic base unit, with radius curvature shape to the contours of a person's forearm, is mounted to the support strap using plastic rivets. A flashlight fits into the semi-circular portion of the upper part of the flashlight holder. It is attached to the base unit by utilizing a male-sided quick-release buckle with a dual push button release mechanism, which attaches to the base unit. The flashlight holder locks securely into the forearm mounted base unit to provide for a hands-free quick-release flashlight holder system.

    Abstract: A vehicle article carrier including a cross bar having a pair of bracket assemblies at each end, where each bracket assembly includes a fixed jaw and a movable jaw which may be cooperatively clamped around a side rail of the article carrier system. The fixed jaw incorporates a keyed recess and the movable jaw incorporates a key. The construction of the keyed recess and the key enable the movable jaw to be pre-positioned so as to not interfere with placement of the cross bar onto the side rails during assembly. Clamping of each bracket assembly to its associated side rail is accomplished simply by turning a threaded fastener engaged with both jaw portions. The movable jaw is rotated automatically into alignment with the fixed jaw and its associated side rail. Further tightening of the fastening member automatically draws the movable jaw into clamping engagement with its associated side rail.

The strap 26 forms the bottom of the holster 16 and is attached to the loop 22 for being secured to a belt 24. Additional embodiments provide a compartment 40 within which additional compact discs 42 are stored and also a hood 44 is provided to protect the compact disc player 14 from the weather.

The serpentine tube has an opening for receiving tennis balls and a dispenser for facilitating selective sequential removal a tennis ball. Gravity causes the tennis balls to roll to the bottom of the tube to a dispenser. The container may be worn by the user by conventional over the shoulder and around the waist straps. The container may be flipped to accommodate both right handed and left handed players. The container may also be pressurized to above atmospheric pressure to increase the life of the tennis balls contained therein.
