Abstract: A collaborative information management program is provided, which supports interaction by an account with a plurality of chat rooms. The program is configured to establish or define a meta-room that aggregates content posted to a set of chat rooms of the plurality of chat rooms. The program provides instructions to display user interfaces that provide user functionality to view content in the meta-room and access chat rooms to interact therewith.

Abstract: An input device includes: a detector configured to detect an operation state of an operation body on an operation surface; a controller configured to execute an input control with respect to a predetermined instrument in accordance with the operation state of the operation body; and a drive portion configured to vibrate the operation surface. A selection position of the operation buttons on a display is correlated to a coordinate position of the operation body on the operation surface. The drive portion generates a predetermined vibration on the operation surface for a predetermined period in response to determining that the selection position of the operation buttons on the display is changed from one operation button to another operation button.

Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a receiving unit, a first acquisition unit, a second acquisition unit, a third acquisition unit, and an addition unit. The receiving unit receives a translation source document. The first acquisition unit acquires a first language that is a language used in the document. The second acquisition unit acquires a second language that is a translation target language. The third acquisition unit acquires, on the basis of a peculiar expression in the document, the first language, and the second language, supplementary information that explains the peculiar expression in the second language. The addition unit adds the supplementary information to a translation result of the document.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a system and method for reporting lost items includes presenting a lost item reporting link associated with an entity having a plurality of different physical establishment locations; receiving a user selection of the lost item reporting link; presenting at a website, in response to the user selection of the lost item reporting link, a graphical user interface configured to solicit lost item recovery information, the website being associated with the entity having the plurality of different physical establishments; receiving the lost item recovery information via the graphical user interface; and transmitting the lost item recovery information to a third party online lost and found system.

Abstract: Dynamic templates include regions that provide behavior based upon a purpose or desired outcome. Templates and regions can modify the logical representations associated with objects to create semantic context for the objects. Templates and regions can also generate visual representations of objects based upon their logical representations. The visual representation utilized by a template or region can be selected manually or based upon the capabilities of a computing device. Objects contained within regions can be sorted, filtered, arranged, and projected based on their associated logical representations.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for storing data representing respective sub-elements of a complex task. Data representing one or more links between two or more sub-elements is stored, the links indicating a dependency between said sub-elements. A work order is calculated based on the identified links. A graphical representation of the calculated work order which indicates said sub-elements and their dependencies is provided. The links may indicate a temporal dependency of a second sub-element on a first sub-element and in which the provided graphical representation presents the temporal relationship of the sub-elements. Historical data may be received for association with one or more selected links or sub-elements, the historical data related to a prior event and which affects the temporal relationship between the sub-elements. An updated work order modified by the historical data may be calculated. An updated graphical representation of the work order may be provided.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for entering commands into an electronic device with a touch-sensitive display unit on which an image can be displayed and at least an area of the displayed image can be selected by means of a pointer and in which segmentation can thereby be carried out in a targeted manner and with a speech recognition unit by means of the commands can be generated for the electronic device. According to the invention, the user of the electronic device selects at least a partial area of a displayed image, and the selected area is subjected to an image analysis following a simultaneous acoustic input.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer media for implementing a process map navigation tool are provided herein. A process map provides a graphical user interface that represents a process. Icons represent process components or steps and are related using flow connectors to indicate an ordered relationship between the process components. Users can click on an icon and either initiate the corresponding process component or launch a menu of tasks relevant to the step. The icons can also include indicators to provide workflow information.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a device, comprising: a display; a sensor for detecting three dimensional objects; a processing system including a processor coupled to the display and sensor; and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processing system, facilitate performance of operations, the operations comprising: identifying a three dimensional object proximal to a user of the device; tracking and storing a position of the three dimensional object; creating an augmented reality (AR) presentation for the user, wherein the AR presentation includes an image of the three dimensional object and an enhancement of the three dimensional object; and displaying the AR presentation to the user. At least one digital music content file is selected to be streamed from an external audio content provider, wherein the at least one digital music content file is personalized to the user. The selected digital music content file has a second URL stored in the host server. The live-streamed digital visual media content is paired with the digital music content file to create paired digital music and live-streamed digital visual media content. The paired digital music and live-streamed digital visual media content is played by executing the first and second URLs simultaneously.

Abstract: An apparatus (20) and method (10) for rendering a tree structure in a GUI depending on a position of a pointing cursor relative to the rendered tree use the cursor position with respect to the tree to control which tree branches to expand/collapse automatically. They reconfigure the tree view for compact presentation without need for explicit expand/collapse operations. A tree view is generated (11). A cursor position relative to the view is determined (14), consisting of first and second position values according to first and second directions. The branch the cursor position is aligned with according to the first direction is automatically selected as active branch (15). Sub-levels of that branch to be expanded are determined (16), depending on the second position value relative to indentations of the sub-levels, and the tree view is automatically updated by expanding the determined sub-levels of the active branch and collapsing other branches (17).

Abstract: An interactive data visualization dashboard visualizes a super-region economy and allows a user to identify companies of interest. The dashboard includes a main region chart portraying main regions in a super-region; a sub-region chart representing sub-regions within the main regions depicted in the main region chart; an industry sector chart of industry sectors that can be drilled down from more generic to more specific levels of industry sector codes; a financial stress chart depicting a financial stress index for the selected region; and a material change chart depicting a material change score for the selected region. The charts are interactive and linked so that a selection of an element in one chart automatically triggers all other charts to redraw based upon the selected element. The selection and redrawing occurs iteratively, and the user interacts with the dashboard to focus and refine until satisfied with the information displayed.

Abstract: Methods and a computer system for dynamically generating an embedded payment interface are described herein. The method includes obtaining rules that define a desired configuration of the embedded payment interface. The method also includes storing rules, storing a default interface template having a default configuration, and receiving an access message indicating that the webpage is accessed at a remote computing device, the access message including a plurality of data elements associated with the webpage and the access of the webpage by the remote computing device. The method also includes accessing the default interface template, generating customization commands that define an output configuration of the embedded payment interface by applying the rules to data elements, applying the customization commands to the default interface template to produce a payment interface having the output configuration corresponding to the desired configuration, and embedding the payment interface in the accessed webpage.

Abstract: A method, computer system, and a computer program product for verified data transfer is provided. The present invention may include determining a first data type of a copy field including a copied data. The present invention may then include determining a second data type of a paste field intended for receiving the copied data. The present invention may further include, in response to identifying a mismatch between the first determined data type of the copy field including the copied data and the second determined data type of the paste field, preventing an input of the copied data into the paste field.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for providing content via multiple display devices. First content is transmitted to a second computing device for rendering on a first display device. A current state of the first content rendered on the first display device is determined. A directive is sent to a third computing device to render second content that is synchronized to be relevant to the current state of the first content on a second display device corresponding to the third computing device. The second content comprises a list of cast members currently on screen in the first content.

Selection of a particular tab switches modes of the user interface to present controls for functionalities associated with the selected tab.
