  • Patent number: 7211759
Abstract: A switch coupling structure includes a cap and a seat that are coupled to form a housing chamber inside to hold switch elements. The cap and seat have a coupling surface. The cap and seat have respectively a first fastening portion and a second fastening portion formed in a mating convex and concave fashion corresponding to the coupling surface. The first and second fastening portions are partly or entirely covered by a bonding material so that they are bonded together without the bonding material overflowing inside or outside the switch. Hence no interference occurs to the switch elements.

  • Patent number: 7211753
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a vehicle seat assembly comprising a seat support pan, a seat cushion, a spring biased lever and an operator present switch. Both the lever and the switch are located between the cushion and the pan, effectively integrated within the seat. The lever is movable between upper and lower positions, with its associated spring biasing the lever toward its upper position. The switch is designed and located so that all of its components are housed within the support pan and none of these components extends below or outside of the pan. When the seat is occupied, the occupant's weight depresses the cushion and, in turn, the lever moves against the force of the spring toward its lower position and the switch is actuated. Because the switch is located completely within the seat cushion, the seat assembly's vertical dimension or envelope is minimized and the design of the seat support and/or suspension located below the seat pan is simplified.

  • Patent number: 7193168
Abstract: A pneumatic switch includes a housing which presents external contacts spaced apart to engage a component site on a device such as a circuit board. A pair of components are supported on the switch housing. A flexure mounted armature or vane is biased in one direction to electrically connect one of the pair of mounted components serially between the housing external contacts, while an air flow to the switch displaces the vane to electrically connect the other of the pair of components in series between the external contacts. The electrical leads between each of the pair of components and the external contacts are of equal length. The switch external contacts may also engage the terminals of a component at a circuit site to insert the mounted components alternatively in parallel with the existing component.

  • Patent number: 7186932
Abstract: When an operator applies a removing force to turn a switch portion b in a direction C2, a projection a4 abuts against a slope b71 so that the removing force as a reaction is applied to the slope. The removing force is divided into a component working along the slope b71 and a component F working in a same direction as a center axis X. Thus, the removing force is converted into a force F in the same direction as the center axis X. By means of the force F in the same direction as the center axis X, a pushbutton support b6 is moved downward as accordingly moving a movable contacts b9 away from a fixed contacts b12 via a contact shaft b5.
