  • Patent number: 11430848
Abstract: Disclosed is a display device that is capable of being driven with low power consumption. A first thin-film transistor including a polycrystalline semiconductor layer and a second thin-film transistor including an oxide semiconductor layer are disposed in an active area, thereby reducing power consumption. At least one opening formed in a bending area is formed to have the same depth as any one of contact holes formed in the active area, thereby making it possible to form the opening and the contact holes through the same process and consequently simplifying the process of manufacturing the device. A second source electrode of the second thin-film transistor and a second gate electrode of the second thin-film transistor overlap each other with an upper interlayer insulation film interposed therebetween so as to form a first storage capacitor.

  • Patent number: 10168845
Abstract: A touch input device capable of detecting a touch pressure is provided that includes: a display module having a pressure electrode which is formed on a back side of the display panel and is for detecting the pressure; and a reference potential layer which is formed separately from the pressure electrode. The touch input device detects the touch pressure on the basis of a capacitance change amount according to a change of a distance between the pressure electrode and the reference potential layer. As a result of this, the touch input device becomes thinner, has a reduced manufacturing cost thereof, and detects a touch position and touch pressure without deteriorating the visibility and optical transmittance of the display module.

  • Patent number: 10095337
Abstract: The present exemplary embodiments provide a touch display device which connects a touch driving circuit and a plurality of touch sensors using a plurality of dummy pixels disposed on a display panel to recognize touch event of a user. When the touch wiring line is implemented, the same material as the pixel electrode or the source line included in the plurality of dummy pixels is used so that a separate process for implementing the touch wiring line is not necessary. Further, in a pixel structure in which one data line is disposed for every two pixels, the source line is disposed in a region where the data line is not disposed to be used as a touch wiring line. Therefore, the touch recognizable area may expand as compared with a case using a pixel metal.
