  • Patent number: 9919690
Abstract: A master cylinder generates master cylinder pressures in response to a brake operation by a driver on a brake pedal. A power hydraulic pressure generation device includes a pressure pump and an accumulator, and the accumulator accumulates an accumulator pressure increased by the pressure pump. A hydraulic pressure control valve device includes holding valves, pressure decreasing valves, and master cut valves for carrying out transmission of the master cylinder pressures from the master cylinder or the accumulator pressure from the accumulator. A stroke simulator is connected to a master pressure pipe via a simulator cut valve. The normally-open master cut valves and the normally-closed simulator cut valve for carrying out transmission of the master cylinder pressures mechanically generated by the master cylinder are backed up with backup electric power so that the operations continue even in the event of a change in state of electric power supply.

  • Patent number: 9920646
Abstract: Turbine and compressor casing/housing abradable component embodiments for turbine engines, have abradable surfaces with asymmetric forward and aft ridge surface area density. The forward ridges have greater surface area density than the aft ridges to compensate for greater ridge erosion in the forward zone during engine operation and reduce blade tip wear in the aft zone. Some abradable component embodiments increase forward zone ridge surface area density by incorporating wider ridges than those in the aft zone.

  • Patent number: 9896935
Abstract: A hydraulic transmission apparatus having at least one declutchable hydraulic motor having radial pistons and connected via two motor ducts, and a casing duct connected to the inside of the casing. The apparatus further has clutching means that, in order to perform the clutching of the motor, are suitable for bringing a first one of the motor ducts to a “clutching” first pressure that is higher than the pressure in the casing while also making it possible to remove fluid via the casing duct. Disposed on the casing duct, the apparatus further has means for limiting the flow of fluid in said casing duct, in a manner such as to cause the pressure inside the casing to increase during the clutching operation. This apparatus enables clutching to take place gently.
