Abstract: Systems and methods for conducting person to person (P2P) transactions using points are disclosed. In one embodiment, in an information processing apparatus comprising at least one computer processor, a method for person-to-person reward points gifting may include: (1) receiving, from a bank customer, a request to issue a reward points gift to a gift recipient, the request identifying gift recipient contact information for the gift recipient and a reward points amount; (2) sending a notification to the gift recipient contact information for the gift recipient to log in a gift recipient account to redeem the reward points gift; and (3) transferring the reward points amount to a gift recipient reward points account.

Abstract: Disclosed is an electronic commerce system integrated with a social networking system. In some aspects, a user of the social networking system may claim a merchant offer by scanning a visual code identifying the offer. Later, the user may make a purchase at the merchant using the social network application. The social network application may apply the offer to the purchase transaction, and authorize a payment based on application of the offer to the purchase. One or more features of the social networking system may also be associated with the offer, such that these features become available to the user within the social network system upon use of the offer as part of the purchase transaction. For example, in some aspects, additional image filters may be made available within the social network system as a result of redemption of an offer.

Abstract: A system and method for locating fitness centers within a user's geographic area and gaining access and redeeming time-based memberships to fitness centers through an integrated mobile computer application via a mobile electronic device (e.g., smartphone, electronic tablet). The integrated mobile computer application allows an individual user to purchase a time-based membership (e.g., one day, two day, three day, one week, one month, etc.) from participating fitness centers using the integrated mobile computer application, redeem and activate the time-based membership upon check-in at a selected fitness center, and then continue to subsequently check-in at the selected fitness center throughout the term of the purchased time-based membership. In a preferred embodiment, initial check-in, activation and subsequent check-in at the selected fitness center is achieved through an electronic validation process using the user's mobile electronic device.

Abstract: The system links Internet web page context with audience usage and location data to support advertising efficiency and effectiveness. An ontology of categories is created where domains and website pages are classified and scored against the links on those pages and the meta-tag key word pools that are harvested from those web pages. An ontology of high level categories are derived from the frequency of the key words appearing within the domain URL addresses of the pages, the domain of the links on those pages or within the content of the pages themselves.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer storage media provide a concurrent browsing session. A user interface is provided for display on a first computing device of a first user to facilitate the concurrent browsing session. The user interface simultaneously displays a first browsing screen showing interaction of the first user with a site and a real-time feed of a second browsing screen presented on a second computing device of a second user showing interaction of the second user with the site. A request is received to split payment of a first item in a first digital cart. In response to the request, a first payment interface for a first portion of the payment is provided for display on the first computing device, and a second payment interface for a second portion of the payment is provided for display on the second computing device.

Abstract: In an approach to determining a boundary-specific offer, one or more computer processors determine a user of a mobile device is within a pre-defined physical boundary. The one or more computer processors determine a first notification of an offer corresponding to the pre-defined physical boundary. The one or more computer processors send the first notification of the offer to the mobile device. The one or more computer processors determine whether the user of the mobile device moved outside of the pre-defined physical boundary. In response to determining the user of the mobile device moved outside of the pre-defined physical boundary, the one or more computer processors invalidate the offer.

Abstract: Systems and methods for welding asset tracking are disclosed. In some examples, a welding asset tracking system may comprise an asset tracking network of tags, hubs, and/or gateways retained by welding assets within a welding area. The asset tracking network may obtain and/or communicate to an asset tracking server welding data related to one or more of the welding assets, as well as position data obtained via an internal and/or external positioning system. In this way, the welding asset tracking server may continually receive updated information regarding each welding assets identity, location, and/or use. The asset tracking server may additionally send a command to a selected welding asset that causes an interface of the selected welding asset to emit an output that enables an operator to physically identify the welding asset.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes determining a number of distance points connected to a person at a point in time, scraping a plurality of indexes corresponding to a respective plurality of journey hosts to identify a plurality of journey possibilities for each journey host of the plurality of journey hosts, generating a plurality of reachable locations based on the number of distance points and the journey possibilities, the plurality of reachable locations comprising at least a subset of the plurality of journey possibilities correlated to the number of distance points, receiving location signals generated via a location sensor of a device associated with the person, identifying one or more previous locations of the device based on the location signals, identifying a subset of the reachable locations based on the previous locations of the device, and generating a graphical interface to visually display the subset of the reachable locations on a map.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for secondary content management, including preventing viewing fraud, are disclosed. In one embodiment, apparatus of the present disclosure includes an Advertisement Decisioning Service (ADS) and Manifest Manipulator (MM) configured cooperate to receive client requests for secondary content, select one or more secondary content elements (e.g., advertisements), and generate and transmit one or more identifiers that uniquely identify the client's request for a session. The selected advertisements in one implementation include embedded beacons or tags used to ensure accurate accounting with regards to the amount or quality of consumption of the advertisement by a user.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus to generate corrected online audience measurement data are disclosed. An example apparatus includes an impressions collector to receive a first audience count indicative of first impressions attributed to a first media category for a demographic group, a second audience count indicative of second impressions attributed to a second media category accessed by the demographic group, and a third audience count indicative of third impressions attributed to the first media category and the second media category accessed by the demographic group, the first audience count including a duplicated audience count; a factor generator to calculate a deduplication factor using the first audience count, the second audience count, and the third audience count; an audience calculator to determine a corrected audience count of the first media category to correct the duplicated audience count; and a ratings data generator to generate ratings information for the first media category.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein address these and other concerns by providing for means by which a customer's level of engagement with media can be determined. In particular, media and questions regarding the content of the media may be sent to a ticketing device and provided to the customer. The ticketing device can further obtain the customer's answers to the questions, and send the answers to a server, which can determine a level of engagement can be assessed from the answers and issue a discounted ticket. The amount of the discount may be proportional to the level of engagement.

Abstract: A network traffic surge resistant platform is described herein. An example system includes a network storage, and one or more servers configured as a commerce platform including an authentication manager. The commerce platform generates a first secret code and sends the first secret code via a first communication medium associated with a first identifier. The commerce platform also generates a second secret code and sends the second secret code via a second communication medium associated with a second identifier. In response to determining the first input code matching the first secret code and the second input code matching the second secret code, the commerce platform authorizes a transaction associated with a particular browser and associates the transaction with a customer record associated with both the first and second identifiers.

Abstract: Introduced here are communication optimization platforms configured to improve comprehension, persuasion, or clarity of communications. Initially, a communication optimization platform can acquire input sample(s) that are associated with a source audience. The communication optimization platform can then create a linguistic profile for the source audience by examining the content of the input sample(s). Additionally or alternatively, the communication optimization platform may produce a psychographic profile that specifies various characteristics of the source audience, such as personality, opinions, attitudes, interests, etc. The communication optimization platform can then generate, based on the linguistic profile and/or the psychographic profile, affinity language for communicating with a target audience. By incorporating the affinity language into communications, the communication optimization platform can increase appeal to the target audience.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure are directed to methods and systems for selecting targets for an advertisement campaign. A method may comprise adjusting one or more slider axes that control selection methods, wherein the selection methods may comprise using target demographic data, target behavioral data, filtering criteria, and/or ranking criteria. Then, an analysis application may complete analysis using the input adjustments to determine a selection of potential targets. The analysis application may be operable to complete multiple methods of analysis (or selection), wherein the user may have input and/or control over the use of the methods.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a technique to encourage a user who is lent a vehicle to obey manners at time of using the vehicle. In the present disclosure, a controller executes: informing a user who is lent a vehicle of information indicating a plurality of manners provisions about use of the vehicle; acquiring a picked-up image of the vehicle about the plurality of manners provisions at time of returning the vehicle; and calculating an evaluation value for obedience of the plurality of manners provisions, based on the picked-up image.

Abstract: A computer system detects that a first user has selected an element corresponding to accessing a particular web page (e.g. such as a checkout). Based on detecting that the first user has selected an element corresponding to accessing the web page, the computer system may determine if one or more particular criteria associated with the web page have been met. Based on determining that the one or more criteria associated with the web page have been met, the computer system causes a particular web page element (e.g. a promotional payment button) to be rendered on the web page to display on a device of the first user.

Abstract: The use of reusable containers is coupled to merchant loyalty programs. Use of a reusable container by a customer in a transaction with a merchant earns benefits in the merchant's loyalty program to incentivize use of the reusable container. Each reusable container incorporates unique identity information. The unique identity information is associated with a customer. Used reusable containers can be exchanged for reprocessed or new reusable containers, and customer associations updated when containers are exchanged. Merchants associated with different corporate entities can participate together where reusable containers can be exchanged between different corporate entities.

Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure allow associating rendered third-party content to respective conversions. A data processing system can provide a third-party content item for rendering on a first client computing device and store information indicative of such rendering. The data processing system can detect a realization action associated with a second client computing device and correlating the realization action with the rendering of the third-party content item based on the stored information indicative of the rendering. The data processing system can then update a realization action parameter associated with the third-party content item in response to correlating the realization action with the rendering of the third-party content item.

Abstract: This application relates to apparatus and methods for automatically servicing item data requests in data management systems, such as in retail management systems. The apparatus and methods employ a throttling technique to service data requests from one or more entities. In some examples, a computing device initializes assigns a counter for each entity, and initializes each counter with an initial value. The computing device also occasionally (e.g., periodically) resets each counter to the initial value. The computing device may receive a data request from one of the entities, and determines whether the counter corresponding to the entity identifies a count that is beyond a threshold. If the counter identifies a count beyond the threshold, the computing device adjusts the counter, and processes the data request. If the counter does not identify a count beyond the threshold, the computing device responds to the entity with an error.

Abstract: Provided is a computer-implemented method for predicting payment transactions using a machine learning technique that includes receiving transaction data, generating a categorical transaction model based on the transaction data, determining a plurality of prediction scores including determining, for one or more users, a prediction score in each merchant category of a plurality of merchant categories for each predetermined time segment of a plurality of predetermined time segments, where a respective prediction score includes a prediction of whether a user will conduct a payment transaction in a merchant category at a time associated with a predetermined time segment associated with the respective prediction score, determining a recommended merchant category and a recommended predetermined time segment of at least one offer, generating the at least one offer, and communicating the at least one offer to the one or more users. A system and computer program product are also disclosed.
