Intelligent selection may be performed using machine learning and/or other suitable techniques, which may be based on similarity to previous usage by a registered tenant, and may further include analyzing structured and/or unstructured data regarding the environment. Abstract: Computer-implemented methods of providing personalized recommendations to a user of items available in an online system, and related systems. First-level features including context features are computed based upon context data. A first-level machine learning model is then evaluated using the first-level features to generate predictions of user behavior in relation to a plurality of individual items available via the online system. A list of proposed item recommendations is constructed based upon the predictions. Second-level features are computed based upon the context data and list features based upon the list of proposed item recommendations and the corresponding predictions generated by the first-level machine learning model. A second-level machine learning model is evaluated using the second-level features to generate a prediction of user behavior in relation to the list of proposed item recommendations.

Abstract: A system collects information from different sources regarding online activities of users and information regarding presentation of additional content. The user online activity information can include an indication of a web page visited (e.g., URL), a time when the web page was visited, and an anonymized identifier for a user device. Additional content service information can include an additional content identifier, a time the additional content was served, and an anonymized identifier for a user device to which the additional content was served. An optimizing engine uses this information to correlate additional content presentation to user online activity while preserving privacy of users. The system can use the correlation information to perform various statistical analyses, including determining the effects of presentation of particular additional content on user online activity, while preserving the privacy of individual users and preventing the information from being linked to a particular user.

When the expected revenue exceeds a threshold revenue, the computing system communicates the particular advertisement to the particular content presentation device.

The user interface and recommendation engines may provide recommendations that are based on the user attributes of a group of users in a concurrent browsing interface, where participating users may interact with the user interface and view a real-time live feeds of other participating user's browsing screens and activity. The user attributes associated with the participating users may be received to generate recommendations. Based on all of the user attributes, recommendations for the group of participating users are generated. The participating users may also provide annotations or scores with respect to the items being browsed by other users. All participating users may view the annotations and scores submitted by users. As user input is received and processed, recommendations are generated and the concurrent browsing user interface is updated with recommendations, annotations, and scores.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving from a campaign manager device information defining a line item in an online advertising system, including receiving information defining constraints for the line item. The subject disclosure may further include collecting browsing history information for targetable users matching the constraints for the line item, generating a machine learning model to rank the targetable users and building a new segment based on users ranked by the model. The subject disclosure may further include providing, to the campaign manager device, a recommendation to add the new segment to the line item, receiving from the campaign manager device an indication to attach the new segment to the line item, and subsequently, providing advertisement content to targeted users according to the line item including the new segment. Abstract: An electronic device is disclosed that enables payment option selection by receiving a location of the electronic device from a location sensor and determines a retailer associated with the location. The electronic device stores a mobile wallet that in turn stores multiple payment options. The electronic device then determines discounts, rewards, or both, for the payment options, and compares the discounts, rewards, or both for the payment options to determine a recommended payment option. The electronic device enables selection of the recommended payment option to perform a transaction with the retailer, and performs the transaction using the recommended payment option in response to the selection of the recommended payment option.

Abstract: In some examples a payment processing system processes transactions between a merchant and customers during a time period, and may determine financing terms including a redemption amount to offset discounts given by the merchant for the transactions during the time period. The payment processing system may identify an amount of the discount given by the merchant to respective customers for the transactions and payment amounts received from the respective customers. In addition, the payment processing system may deposit an amount in an account associated with the merchant. For instance, the amount may be based at least on the redemption amount determined based on the discounts given by the merchant for the transactions during the time period.
