  • Patent number: 7760270
Abstract: A video processor card stores tap generation information for determining a predetermined tap coefficient when the tap generation information is used together with tap generation information stored in another video processor card, and supplies a video processing interface with the tap generation information. The video processing interface generates the tap coefficient from the tap generation information of the one video processor card and the other video processor card loaded therein. The video processing interface extracts video data having a predictive tap used to predict a target pixel and video data having a class tap used to classify the target data, and class classifies the target data based on the class tap. The video processing interface determine the target pixel based on the tap coefficient and the predictive tap of the class of the target pixel.

  • Patent number: 7758134
Abstract: A drawer fixing apparatus includes a bottom rail on a cabinet and having a movable latch member and at least one slide. The slide has a brake connected to a fixing member by a resilient member and an inner rail slidable on the slide and combined with a drawer. The inner rail includes a driven member having an embedding groove and a movable turning member pivotally connected to the driven member. As the inner rail moves with the drawer into the cabinet, the slide moves accordingly. The brake pushes the driven member to drive the turning member to rotate and press a latch member. When a user releases his/her hand, the resilient member pulls the brake backward slightly to resume the turning member to its original position, while the latch member falls naturally into the embedding groove of the driven member by gravitational force to achieve the positioning effect.

  • Patent number: 7761461
Abstract: A method, system and article of manufacture for relationship building based on text-based markup languages and, more particularly, for representing relationships between data elements defined according to a first physical representation of data in a logical representation. The logical representation abstractly describes a second physical representation of the data, which is generated from the first physical representation of the data. On the basis of the relationships between the data elements, logical relationships each defining a path between data structures of the second physical representation are determined and associated with the logical representation.

  • Patent number: 7757674
Abstract: A V-twin engine having a crankcase and a pair of cylinders defining a V-space therebetween, wherein the V-space is substantially enclosed, and a carburetor is positioned within the V-space. An intake air preheating arrangement supplies heated intake air to the carburetor, and a carburetor heating arrangement heats the V-space and the carburetor which is positioned within the V-space. Each of the foregoing arrangements, used separately or in combination within one another, aids in preventing “freeze-up” of the carburetor during running of the engine in a cold environment.

  • Patent number: 7761337
Abstract: A complex order processing system is implemented in an architecture that allows customer service representatives and customers to access the customer's accounts, service profiles, quotes, and orders. Account information can be entered and updated. Quotes can be generated for various configurations of products and services having different types of charges including one time fees, recurring fixed fees, and usage-based fees. The quotes can be saved, and later updated by the customer or by the system to reflect changes in the configuration of a product or service that is included in the quote. The quote can be converted to an order, and pending orders can be modified. Before allowing modification of a quote or order, the requested future state of a product or service is created by applying the prior active and unprocessed orders to the product or service. The portion of the product or service currently selected is also applied to the product or service, and the user can then reconfigure the product or service.

  • Patent number: 7760128
Abstract: Motion measurement errors that extend beyond the range resolution of a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) can be corrected by effectively decreasing the range resolution of the SAR in order to permit measurement of the error. Range profiles can be compared across the slow-time dimension of the input data in order to estimate the error. Once the error has been determined, appropriate frequency and phase correction can be applied to the uncompressed input data, after which range and azimuth compression can be performed to produce a desired SAR image.

  • Patent number: 7757713
Abstract: Hydraulic valve having a valve body and housing, which has a first, second and third cutout. A hydraulic medium is fed via the first cutout. The hydraulic medium is fed to a pressure consumer via the second cutout and to a pressure sink via the third cutout. The valve body moves to and fro between two end positions. From a second end position, the hydraulic medium passes from the first to the second cutout. In a first end position, the hydraulic medium passes from the second to the third cutout. Owing to the valve body, a constant flow cross section for the hydraulic medium, released by the first cutout, arises during a switching operation from the first into the second end position in a fixed time span, resulting in a maximum flow cross section being achieved when the valve body is in the second end position.

  • Patent number: 7759609
Abstract: A method for forming a micro- or nano-pattern of a material on a substrate is presented. The method utilizes a buffer layer assisted laser patterning (BLALP). A layered structure is formed on the substrate, this layered structure being in the form of spaced-apart regions of the substrate defined by the pattern to be formed, each region including a weakly physisorbed buffer layer and a layer of the material to be patterned on top of the buffer layer. A thermal process is then applied to the layered structure to remove the remaining buffer layer in said regions, and thus form a stable pattern of said material on the substrate resulting from the buffer layer assisted laser patterning. The method may utilize either positive or negative lithography. The patterning may be implemented using irradiation with a single uniform laser pulse via a standard mask used for optical lithography.

  • Patent number: 7760412
Abstract: A modulator for modulating an optical signal is disclosed having a substrate, a support mounted to the substrate, and membrane attached to the support and defining an airgap between the substrate and the membrane. The membrane has at least three layers including a central layer having an index of refraction which is the square root of the index of refraction of the substrate. The thickness of the layers and the size of the airgap are optimized to maximize differential reflectivity of light incident on the membrane at a non-normal angle of incidence to the membrane when the membrane is either in an unbiased state or biased state. In one embodiment, the first, central, and third layers have corresponding thicknesses approximately equal to one-quarter, one-quarter, and on-half of a wavelength of the optical signal, respectively.
