  • Patent number: 11985342
Abstract: A method for video encoding includes determining a corresponding motion vector for each of multiple control points of a base predictor. The method further includes determining a corresponding motion vector difference for each of the multiple control points of the base predictor based on the determined motion vector for each respective control point. The method further includes generating prediction information of the current block to be included in a coded video bitstream. The prediction information includes (i) a usage flag indicative of the affine merge mode with offset, (ii) offset parameters defining the determined corresponding motion vector difference for each of the one or more of the control points, and (iii) a zero motion vector difference flag for the multiple control points of the base predictor. The zero motion vector difference flag indicates whether offset parameters for the respective control point are provided in the prediction information.

  • Patent number: 11975893
Abstract: What is disclosed is a lid for sealing containers containing paint as well as other types of liquids and solids. The lid is flexible and resilient at portions that provide a seal for the container to preserve the contents by reducing off-gas leakage as well as ingress of oxidizing air in order to prevent drying of the contents or other types of deterioration. A handle is provided at a top surface of the lid and which is proximal to the outer structures of the lid. The handle enables a user to utilize thumb and forefinger to squeeze the handle and thereby laterally collapse the lid thereby reducing its lateral dimensions. The central portion of the lid is vertically raised from radially distal portions of the lid to facilitate collapse of the lid when the handle is squeezed.

  • Patent number: 11971536
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure include systems, methods, and devices use a controllable matrix filter to selectively obscure regions of an image sensor's field of view. The controllable matrix filter is a physical component that may be placed in front of an image sensor and, in certain situations, one or more regions of the otherwise transparent matrix filter may be selectively configured to have an increased optical density such that the one or more regions become opaque thereby blocking out certain regions of the image sensor's field of view. In this way, the controllable matrix filter may be used to mask out certain regions in an image sensor's field of view that may present processing difficulties for downstream systems that utilize information from the image sensor.

  • Patent number: 11969395
Abstract: The invention is a hollow nipple containing a side-entry tube and aperture that solves the problem of administering fluid medicines to infants or babies by combining the comfort of a common baby bottle, containing accustomed milk or formula, with the use of an industry common, over-the-counter oral medicine syringe by allowing for the syringe to be inserted into the side-entry tube and aperture so that the medicine can mix with the milk or formula and be quickly consumed while the care provider has the option of manually regulating the flow of the medicine into the nipple. The invention therefore avoids the need for administering such fluid medicine directly into the mouth, or even mixing it into the contents of the bottle where the medicine may not be fully or timely consumed. The invention has applications not only with human infants and babies but also in the field of animal care.

  • Patent number: 11950667
Abstract: A purse with an integrated and removable phone case includes an attached, but removable, phone case suspended from a purse strap by a chain, cord, or similar mechanism. Cell phone users require immediate, unencumbered access to their phones. Currently available products require the phone user to remove his or her phone from a bag. Phone cases cannot hold many items without becoming too bulky. Small purses have limited storage space and personal devices can take up much of that space. Moreover, carrying a phone case with a strap in addition to a purse with a strap can cause tangling and limit ease of use. An externally available phone case suspended from a strap of a purse allows for immediate access to the cell phone without consuming space within the purse. The suspended phone case may be removed from the purse to allow for separate use of the phone or purse.
