Abstract: A display method and apparatus are disclosed. The method includes: when a video layer needs to scale a video image, judging whether a preset policy is met; if so, using the offline mode; otherwise using the online mode; processing the video image in online mode or offline mode, and outputting the processed video image, where the online mode is a mode in which the video image frame is scaled in real time, and the offline mode is a mode in which the video image frame is scaled asynchronously. With the display method and apparatus, the source video image can be scaled in any ratio by selecting the online mode or offline mode, thus reducing the display power consumption.
Abstract: A table is allocated indexes corresponding to display positions on a monitor screen, respectively, and data indicating an unexposed part at each of the display positions is stored in each index of the table. Focal position information is acquired from Exif header information on image data of an image, and a location of one of the indexes in the table at which no image data is registered is searched in an ascending order of the indexes. According to the table, the images are arranged so that the focal position of each image differs from the unexposed part at the display position of the image.
Abstract: A method and system is provided for performing high-resolution image assembly regardless of observed scene content. An imaging system, including a focal plane array and lenslet array can be calibrated to account for subimage shifts. A calibration module can determine the subimage shifts by calculating an average point source position reference point coordinates for each of the subimages, and then determining the difference between the average point source position and the reference point coordinates for each subimage. The imaging system can then be calibrated utilizing the subimage shifts for each of the plurality of subimages. Finally, an assembly module can perform a high-resolution image assembly with the calibrated imaging system.

Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes an information converting unit and an output unit. The information converting unit converts information into an information expression image formed by a dot arrangement pattern in which information is expressed by arranging a given number or less of dots in a unit display area which is an information unit. The output unit arranges the converted information expression image. The output unit superimposes the converted information expression image on image information. The output unit outputs the superimposed information expression image. In the dot arrangement pattern, the arrangement of the dots is determined so that the number of the dots denoting 1 or 0 of a bit sequence of a given error correction code word is a subset equal to or smaller than the given number, and the dot arrangement pattern is readable by a machine.
Abstract: Determining a rectangular area with a given aspect ratio within a global boundary formed by multiple projectors. An iterated process is repeated at moved locations along the global boundary, until a stopping condition is met. According to the iterated process, a point at a location of the global boundary is selected, a minimum rectangle with the given aspect ratio is grown from identified directions, and the largest rectangle encountered is delivered when the stopping condition has been met. For each such direction, the minimum rectangle is grown in the direction from the selected point until it intersects with a boundary, the grown rectangle is grown in another direction responsive to a determination that the grown rectangle can grow in another direction. The largest rectangle encountered previously is replaced, responsive to a comparison which indicates that the grown rectangle is larger than the largest rectangle encountered previously.
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for displaying sequential information representing a path. The sequential information can include a number of tokens representing a path. A representation of the tokens and path of the sequential information can be displayed. An instruction to adjust the representation of the path of the sequential information can be received. For example, instruction can comprise user instruction, including but not limited to a user manipulation of a slider control of a user interface through which the representation of the sequence is displayed. The displayed representation of the path of the sequential information can be updated based on and corresponding to the instruction. So for example, the user can click and drag or otherwise manipulate the slider control above and the displayed representation of the path can be expanded and/or contracted based on the user's movement of the slider control.
Abstract: The present technique provides a system and method for providing instrument-activated buttons having a sub-surface mechanism for triggering a desired function upon interaction with an above-surface electronic/digital user device, such as a digitizing pointing device. The instrument-activated buttons may be disposed in a display device, a tablet computing device, or any other suitable electronic device. A user navigates a housing surface of the electronic device until a signal identifies the sub-surface button, which may then be activated by performing an instrument-based activation event. The activation event may be a button click, a tip movement, or any other suitable trigger on the electronic/digital user device. A wireless communication is then transmitted between the sub-surface mechanism and the electronic/digital user device to initiate the function associated with the instrument-activated button.

Abstract: A computer-implemented user interface and method for graphical processing analysis. More specifically, embodiments provide a convenient and effective mechanism for presenting GPU performance information such that one or more bottlenecking and/or underutilized graphics pipeline units may be identified. The presentation of the information enables quick comparison of all graphical operations within a frame for analysis with increased granularity. Additionally, the performance of graphical operations with common state attributes may be compared to more effectively and efficiently enhance GPU performance.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and system for graphic representation of dynamic information from a dynamic 2D or 3D object. In particular, the invention relates to a novel method of interpolating dynamic information having values of different signs. The method of the present invention is particularly useful for the graphic representation of dynamic information, in particular flow data which has been acquired with a color-Doppler-method. The method of the invention can be used for representing the flow of liquids, such as blood and is therefore useful for human and animal diagnostics.
Abstract: A VLC data transfer interface is presented that allows digital data to be packed and assembled according to a format selectable from a number of formats while the data is being transferred to a desired destination.
Abstract: A plurality of screen aspects is acquired; each screen layout is optimized; switching of the screen aspects is supported; and visibility and functionality of the display screen are improved. An electronic device (portable terminal apparatus) including a display function in a rotatable and/or openable/closable case includes a displaying unit that displays a vertically elongated vertical screen or a horizontally elongated horizontal screen and a controlling unit (CPU) that changes screen layouts correspondingly to the vertical screen or the horizontal screen displayed on the displaying unit. The change in the screen layout corresponding to the vertical screen or the horizontal screen includes a change in arrangement of icons.

Abstract: A method is provided for displaying a client-side multi-component image. A plurality of image component channels derived from captured images of a sample are stored in a server, the plurality of image component channels being stored in the form of a plurality of image data records. A client then requests one or more of the plurality of image data records and the server transmits to the client the one or more of the plurality of image data records requested. At the client, the client-side multi-component image is composited from the image data records transmitted the composited client-side multi-component image is displayed.

Abstract: The present invention enables to easily perform a graphic processing even when a touch panel is used. When a resistance film unit is pressed with a pen or a finger, output voltages associated with the X coordinate and the Y coordinate position are changed and these output voltages are transmitted as the X coordinate data and the Y coordinate data to a touch panel driver. According to the output from the resistance film unit, the touch panel driver generates an event for supply to a GUI handler. The touch panel driver includes a two-point specification detector which detects two point specifications and causes to calculate coordinates of the two points. The GUI handler generates a message corresponding to the GUI according to the event and supplies the message to an application. The GUI handler includes a processing mode modification block which differently interprets the event when a single point is specified and when two points are specified, thereby modifying the graphic processing mode.
