  • Patent number: 11877309
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments are related to beam management in cellular communication networks, and in particular, provide a new transmission (Tx) beamforming indication based on the flexible Tx beam-forming assignment on the corresponding reference signal configured in a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state for downlink (DL) or spatial relation information in the uplink (UL). The Tx beam-forming on the reference signal of the TCI state configured for the DL physical channel/reference signal can be updated based on reported Tx beam in the UL or using UL measurements from Sounding Reference Signal (SRS) transmission. Similarly, spatial relation information configuration used to indicate Tx beam-forming in the UL, may be also updated based on the reference signal measurements in DL or by suing Downlink Control Information (DCI) based beam indication in a scheduling request indicator (SRI). Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

  • Patent number: 11870882
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for data processing are described. Some systems may support data processing permits and cryptographic techniques tying user consent to data handling. By tying user consent to data handling, the systems may comply with data regulations on a technical level and efficiently update to handle changing data regulations and/or regulations across different jurisdictions. For example, the system may maintain a set of data processing permits indicating user consent for the system to use a user's data for particular data processes. The system may encrypt the user's data using a cryptographic key (e.g., a cryptographic nonce) and may encrypt the nonce using permit keys for any permits applicable to that data. In this way, to access a user's data for a data process, the system may first verify that a relevant permit indicates that the user complies with the requested process prior to decrypting the user's data.

Abstract: A hair cutter of a shaving device has a support with a skin contacting surface, and a retainer releasably couplable to the support by a coupler to retain an external cutter in an operational/assembled condition of the hair cutter. A retained element of the external cutter is retained between a first retaining member of the retainer and a second retaining member of the support where, in response to manually turning the retainer relative to the support, the shaving surface protrudes relative to the skin contacting surface in the axial direction over an exposure distance. The coupler has a first guide on the support and a second guide on the retainer. The first and second guides mutually engage resulting from manually turning the retainer relative to the support when the retainer is in any angular position between first and second angular positions about the axis of rotation relative to the support.
