Abstract: The present invention is to a collar for animals that can be converted on-the-fly for use in both training purposes by providing cinching around the animal's neck and for non-training purposes wherein the cinching is reduced or prevented.

Abstract: A device comprising a body; at least one propulsion unit fixed to the body and configured for moving the device along a sea bed; a collection unit having an inlet opening and a fluid channel extending from the inlet opening; a transport pipe fluidly connected to the fluid channel; and a fluid conveyance unit arranged in connection with the fluid channel and/or the transport pipe and configured to generate a fluid flow from the inlet opening to the transport pipe. There is also provided a method for removing sea floor sediments below a fish farm and a method for sea bed harvesting.

Abstract: A half-spur for use with an equestrian footwear includes a spur having a neck portion that extends in a downwardly direction when warn by the user with a tip portion, which can vary in shape and size. A curved body supports the spur where such that spur is attached to one end of the curved body. The opposite end of the curved body includes a flat, rounded edge. The curved body extends around only on one side of the rider's footwear and the rounded end is inserted into a pocket within the footwear for holding it firmly in place and pivot as needed for chosen spur tip position. The spur neck is secured at the back of the footwear in an open aperture with the tip protruding outwards and backward facing.

Accordingly, the system may include a greenhouse enclosure, a condensation assembly, at least one sensor, a water collection compartment, and a processing device. Further, the greenhouse enclosure may include an internal space. Further, the greenhouse enclosure may be configured for generating a greenhouse effect. Further, the condensation assembly may be configured for condensing water vapor present in the interior space. Further, the condensation assembly may include at least one coolant dispenser, a heat exchanger, a coolant sensor, and at least one coolant dispensing actuator. Further, the at least one sensor may be configured for generating at least one sensor data. Further, the water collection compartment may be fluidly coupled with the condensation assembly. Further, the processing device may be communicatively coupled to each of the at least one sensor and the coolant sensor.

An attachment device includes a core member having a sidewall groove to accept the insertion of an enclosure sidewall and an aquarium flange groove to accept the insertion of a flange extending from the interior surface of an aquarium frame.

The hopper support 35 is configured to support the hopper 23, 25 in such a position that food or fluid can flow from the storage compartment 27, 29 to the tray 31, 33, and so that waste food or fluid can pass into the receptacle 15. A poll strap is formed with a first metal cable disposed within the poll strap. First and second cheek straps extend downward from a crown strap along the sides of the horse's head. A jaw strap is wrapped about and under the horse's neck. A nose band, a chin strap, and first and second throat straps are suspended so as to encircle the horse's nose and chin. The nose band formed with a second metal cable disposed within the nose band.

Abstract: An indoor gardening appliance includes a liner defining a grow chamber and a grow module mounted within the grow chamber for receiving a plurality of plant pods. A lighting assembly is positioned within the grow chamber and includes a plurality of lights that are independent movable and adjustable. A controller detects an abnormal growth condition, e.g., a plant growing in a single direction, the presence and location of bare or void regions within a particular plant, growth toward a pinch point, and other growth abnormalities. The lighting assembly may be adjusted to correct the abnormal grow condition, e.g., by modifying an illumination schedule, an illumination direction, an intensity, a wavelength, or another parameter of the generated light.

Abstract: A plant cultivation method includes providing a growth period and a rest period alternately. In the rest period, a dark period and a bright period is alternately provided. In the dark period, an intensity of light applied to a cultivation target plant is lower than a light intensity at a light compensation point. In the bright period, blue light whose wavelength is 400 nm to 500 nm is applied at an intensity that is lower than the light intensity at the light compensation point. A one-cycle time T of repetition of the dark period and the bright period is 2 ?s to 500 ?s. A duty ratio ?T/T of a bright period time ?T to the one-cycle time T is 20% or smaller. The blue light has a photosynthetic photon flux density of 0.001 ?mol·m?2·s?1 to 4.0 ?mol·m?2·s?1.

Abstract: An adjustable gullet plate with interchangeable, adjustable portions and joints which are connected and secured to one another using interlocking elements and fasteners. The adjustable gullet plate may include interlocking elements equally spaced at or at about known increments and terminal portions connected successively to create points of adjustment. The gullet plate may be adjusted into an asymmetric configuration to fit a horse with an asymmetric body shape. The adjustable gullet plate can be installed in a saddle and then be adjusted to fit a horse's body shape by accessing at least one fastener securing an adjustable joint, loosening the fastener to disengage interlocking elements to permit radial movement, adjusting the radial displacement and interior angle of at least one adjustable portion to fit a horse's body shape, and tightening the fastener to reengage the interlocking elements and prevent further radial movement.

Abstract: The delivery of water to a live well on a marine craft includes a sea chest disposed in fluid communication with ambient water and the live well. An access opening is formed on the sea chest in communication with an interior thereof. A cover is removably connected in fluid sealing relation to the access opening. Each of one or more pumps is connected to an exterior of the sea chest and includes a housing having an open segment disposed in accessible relation to the housing interior and internal workings therein. A mounting structure adjustably connects an inlet of the housing in fluid communication with a submerged, lower interior of the sea chest and an outlet is connected in fluid delivering relation to the live well.

Abstract: The invention discloses a regulating system and method for multilayer shading film of plastic greenhouse with adjustable shading rate. The upper film of the sunshade is a fully transparent film, while the middle film and the lower film are printed with dots, which are interlaced. Through the measurement and comparison of the warm light in the greenhouse, the combined control of the sunshade film is realized. Not only can it adjust its light blocking rate, but it also has a heat insulating effect when there is a certain amount of air in the film.

Abstract: Disclosed is a pet device. The pet device can include a housing, a movable member, and a first porous element. The housing can include a back and a front connected to the back to define a cavity. The front can define a first opening. The moveable member can be located in between the back and front. The moveable member can include a tab and can define an element receptacle. The first porous element can be impregnated with a first fluid and sized to fit within the element receptacle. The movable member can be moveable between a first position where the element receptacle is located proximate the first opening and a second position where a majority of the moveable member, including the element receptacle, is located outside of the cavity.

Abstract: A fishing lure comprises a body having a front end and a rear end. A cavity is positioned towards the front end of the body, and the cavity has a longitudinal direction. A connection member is located at least partially in the cavity and retained thereto by one or more retaining members. Each retaining member is able to extend into the cavity to retain the connection member in the cavity in use. The connection member is able to move, in use, in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction.

Abstract: A fish hook apparatus including a head member, a shank, a bend section, a point element, and securing elements and a method for producing a controllable action in a bait are provided. The head member is defined by a top nose element, opposing side walls, and a bottom end. The head member includes a channel with openings at the top nose element and an opposing side wall for passing a fishing line. A securing element, coupled to the bottom end of the head member, secures a head of the bait. Another securing element, coupled to any location of the bait, secures one end of the fishing line exiting from the head member to the bait. Controllably tugging the fishing line curls the secured bait backwards towards the head member and springs the secured bait forwards to produce a controllable action, for example, a worm-like action in the bait.

Abstract: A planer board with a multi-point connection to a fishing line comprising a side release clip with outer and inner gripping portions engaging different segments of fishing line with different release forces; a forward leverage line guide located at an upper portion of a head end of the planer board at a height above the side release clip, to laterally but not longitudinally secure a segment of fishing line therein; and a rear line guide at the tail end of the planer board for laterally but not longitudinally securing a segment of the fishing line therein. A first segment of fishing line gripped by the side release clip can be snapped out of engagement with the side release clip by a fisherman when a fish strikes, thereby applying a rotational force to the planer board through the forward leverage line guide to roll the planer board flat for a faster retrieval.

Abstract: A rope halter conversion attachment that attaches reins to a rope halter fitted to a horse's head to create a bitless bridle which allows a rider to communicate commands to the horse via the rope halter by manipulation of the reins. To accomplish this task, the rope halter conversion attachment forms an angle between the halter's cheek knot and the point of attachment of the reins. When rein tension is applied by the rider, this angle causes a pivoting motion at the halter's cheek knot that pulls on the nose band and creates pressure on the horse's nose. The pressure communicates nonverbal commands to the horse.

Abstract: An indoor gardening appliance includes a liner defining a grow chamber and a grow module rotatably mounted within the grow chamber for receiving a plurality of plant pods, the grow module defining a plurality of grow chambers spaced apart along the circumferential direction. One or more resilient sealing elements, e.g., formed from silicone, are positioned at the distal ends of the grow module to seal a gap between the grow module and the liner. The resilient sealing elements define one or more air ducts for providing a flow of air through the resilient sealing element into one of the plurality of chambers and a flow regulating device for regulating the flow of air.

Abstract: A horse training device which is adjustable to fit various sizes of horse heads and neck sizes. The training device includes a generally U-shaped bosal-like member having a forward end and first and second legs extending rearwardly therefrom. A first ring is secured to the rearward ends of the first and second legs. A first U-shaped strap has its lower ends secured to second and third rings secured to the first and second legs respectively. A second strap has one end thereof secured to a cross-member which extends between the first and second legs. The other end of the second strap has a fourth ring member secured thereto. The lower ends of a U-shaped third strap are secured to the fourth ring. A U-shaped fourth strap is connected to the first and third straps and extend around the head of the horse below the ears of the horse.

Abstract: A system is provided to discharge heat from a reservoir of water inside an unventilated greenhouse. Heat is transferred from the greenhouse air to the reservoir during the day by a droplet system. During the cool hours of the night and morning, the same droplet system transfers reservoir heat back into the air within a restricted volume above the reservoir while the air is simultaneously circulated through an air-to-air heat exchanger outside the building.
