  • Patent number: 11514431
Abstract: A first application may output a form comprising payment fields. An operating system (OS) may receive, from a contactless card, a uniform resource locator (URL) comprising encrypted data. A second application received from the URL by the OS may be executed. The second application may transmit the encrypted data to an authentication server, the authentication server to verify the encrypted data. The second application may receive, from a virtual account number server, a virtual account number, an expiration date associated with the virtual account number, and a CVV associated with the virtual account number. The second application may provide the virtual account number, expiration date, and CVV to an autofill service of the OS. The autofill service of the OS may autofill the virtual account number the payment fields of the first application.

  • Patent number: 11514457
Abstract: Embodiments described herein are configured to generate a smart contract deployed to a distributed ledger platform. In particular, a first party and a second party negotiate the terms of an engagement, jointly choose a mediator from those available on a social networking platform, and choose a smart contract template, and a user interface is thereafter presented to the parties for inclusion of negotiable elements. Upon agreement, a smart contract is thereafter generated and deployed to a smart contract platform such as, for example, a blockchain. Embodiments permit escrow of funds to the smart contract platform. Embodiments of the smart contract enable the parties to indicate completion or take other actions with respect to the engagement, or to initiate a dispute in which case, a chosen mediator is thereafter enabled by the smart contract to mediate the dispute through one or more smart contract actions made available to the mediator.

Abstract: Described is a secure WiFi sharing system for use between neighbors or others in like proximity. The system may include a WiFi signal with an established network connection and a user computing device seeking to access the network connection through the WiFi signal. The system allows the user computing device to rent or share the WiFi signal through the system and establish a secure connection between the user computing device and the WiFi network without the need of sharing the SSID and/or the password. Further, the system automatically changes a user computing device to another WiFi signal on the system and in proximity if the signal strength of the connected WiFi signal drops below a minimum threshold.

  • Patent number: 11423400
Abstract: A virtual payment system for paying for goods, services and content ordered over an internetwork is disclosed. The virtual payment system includes a commerce gateway. Buyers and sellers becomes registered participants by applying for virtual payment buyer and seller accounts. Once an account is established with the commerce gateway, a digital certificate is stored on the registered participant's computer. A buyer can then order a product, i.e., goods, services or content from a seller and charge it to the virtual payment account. When the product is shipped, the seller notifies the commerce gateway, which applies the charges to the buyer's virtual payment account. The buyer can settle the charges using a prepaid account, a credit account, or by using reward points earned through use of the virtual payment account. A buyer may create sub-accounts.

  • Patent number: 11423122
Abstract: An installation operator of a newly purchased analyzing device (10) performs software activation of the analyzing device PC (1) from an installation operator terminal (3) using his or her own account. At that time, the installation operator is registered in the server (5) as the license holder of the software. After that, when the installation operator issues a transfer request with an e-mail address of a device user who is a license transfer destination from a terminal (3) to a server (5) attached, a predetermined web page is created in the server (5) and an e-mail containing a URL is sent to the device user who has already acquired their account. When the device user issues an instruction of acceptance upon browsing the web page at the user terminal (2), the license holder of the software is transferred from the installation operator to the device user in the server (5).

  • Patent number: 11334884
Abstract: Functional data for use in one or more digital transactions are secured by using an encapsulated security token (EST). In certain embodiments, the EST is created by encapsulating digital data including the functional data using at least two cryptographic systems of two parties. The encapsulation and subsequent de-encapsulation can utilize cryptographic systems of the parties that involve a private key for signing and decryption and a public key for encryption and signature verification. If constructed carefully over a series of rigorous events, the resulting EST can be practically impossible to counterfeit. In addition, a propagation of rights can be tracked for auditing and rights can be easily terminated or modified.

  • Patent number: 11301839
Abstract: A method and system are presented for making a secure payment transaction using a payment card associated with a consumer which has been registered with a digital wallet. A secure server is arranged, in response to a request from a merchant server in relation to the consumer, to extract from the digital wallet payment credentials for the payment card. The secure server uses the payment credentials and the identity of the merchant server to generate a token. The token is provided to the merchant. To effect a payment transaction, the merchant server returns the token to the secure server with details of the desired payment transaction, and the secure server arranges for the payment transaction to occur, and notifies the merchant server. The merchant server does not receive the payment credentials of the payment card during this process, so even if its security is compromised, the payment credentials are not at risk.

  • Patent number: 11288664
Abstract: Method and apparatus for processing a transaction are disclosed. The method includes receiving an original card number used for a request of processing a transaction; calculating a hash value corresponding to the original card number based on the original card number, and acquiring an index card number corresponding to the original card number based on the hash value corresponding to the original card number; and sending the index card number to an entity that processes the transaction to enable the entity to process the transaction based on the index card number. The present disclosure creates corresponding index card numbers for a number of original card numbers in a system respectively, which ensures a one-to-one correspondence between the index card numbers and the original card numbers in the case of high concurrency and a convenient search for an encrypted credit card number whose password is changed frequently.
