That is, the cyclic prefixes or guard intervals may separate different fractions of a symbol, such that individual signals communicated in each of the different fractions do not leak into a subsequent fraction to cause interference. In some implementations, the cyclic prefixes or guard intervals may be enabled for a subset of devices or channels.
