Abstract: A method for printing at a local printer using the resources of a networked remote application server in which the networked remote application server responds to a print executable request from a local client by downloading a print proxy executable that obtains printing parameters. Upon receipt of printing parameters from the print proxy executable, the networked remote application server generates a printer-dependent data stream and downloads the data stream to the print proxy executable running on the local client. The print proxy executable then uses local printer utilities to execute the print job.

Abstract: A printer emulating apparatus obtains a command signal which is outputted from a controller unit via an interface, and emulates a state of an engine unit in accordance with a notification of an elapsed time by a timer for notifying the elapse of a predetermined time and the obtained command signal. A response signal is transmitted via the interface in accordance with the emulated state of the engine unit and the obtained command signal. An image sync signal is generated to the controller unit in accordance with the emulated state of the engine unit.

Abstract: A print service system capable of providing effectively a print service in the amusement park is provided. The print service system is constructed to include a print service server connected to a network, which is established in an amusement park, access points, and a digital camera. The print service server executes a print service based on printing order information that is received via the network and contains receipt information designating a receiving spot of a print. Prior to reception of the print receiving spot information included in the order information, the information for assisting the decision of the receiving spot are generated and transmitted. The candidate information of the receiving spot and the information about attractions corresponding to the candidate information are included in the assist information.

Abstract: When a print key on a console panel is depressed, a main CPU confirms enlargement/reduction rate information input via the console panel, and then, performs line thinning by setting a line thinning parameter according to the same magnification, an enlargement rate or a reduction rate in a line thinning processing unit in an image processing apparatus.

Abstract: A fabric label for a product, wherein at least the top side of the fabric label is conventionally printed with a printing press with general information that is applicable to a plurality of products and a toner jet receptive coating is located on at least a portion of the top side of the conventionally printed top side of the fabric label, wherein at least a portion of the toner receptive coating is printed with laser jet printing with specific product information, without any ink jet printing, to reduce smearing and improved print resolution. Also, a computer-readable medium for creating a product label is also disclosed with a first plurality of electronic files with each file having general product information and a second plurality of electronic files with each file directed to specific product information along with a process for electronically displaying the general and specific product information.
