  • Patent number: 11458873
Abstract: A method for determining a fluid pressure in a pneumatic bladder of a pneumatic adjusting device of a vehicle seat is disclosed, wherein the pneumatic bladder is connected to a valve for the filling or emptying of the bladder with or of fluid. Fluid start pressure at the valve is provided as initial pressure for determining of the fluid pressure in the bladder. Fluid throughflow through the valve device is determined using a first assignment rule which assigns the fluid throughflow to the fluid start pressure at the valve. The fluid throughflow obtained using the first assignment rule over a predetermined period of time is summed to determine a fluid quantity that has flowed through the valve. Fluid pressure present in the bladder is determined using a second assignment rule which assigns the fluid pressure present in the bladder to the determined fluid quantity.

  • Patent number: 11414603
Abstract: A fireproof buffering structure includes a buffering plate and a fireproof plate attached thereto. A combustion rate of the fireproof plate is lower than that of the buffering plate. In contrast to conventional buffering structures, the fireproof buffering structure adopts the combined buffering plate and fireproof plate. The buffering plate has good impact absorbing capacity for providing a soft and comfortable seating environment and buffering and protection effects during a crash accident, and the fireproof plate can reduce the combustion rate of the integral structure when catching fire. Therefore, the fireproof buffering structure achieves the purposes of safety and comfort. The present application further discloses a supporting cushion apparatus which includes a covering member and the aforementioned fireproof buffering structure accommodated therein.

  • Patent number: 11396252
Abstract: An improved head restraint is provided for a reversible seat that is movable between two use positions, namely a forward-facing position and a rearward-facing position. The improved head restraint automatically pivots to a fold flat position upon unlocking of the seat, wherein the head restraint is positioned in this fold flat position during reversing seat movement, so as to reduce the seat height and clear the vehicle headliner. The head restraint is cable driven and operably connected to the seat linkages that control movement of the seat cushion and seat back during reversing movement. As such, the seat movement articulates the head restraint so that the head restraint angles forwardly toward the occupant in the forward-facing position and rearwardly toward the occupant in the rearward-facing position, while permitting the head restraint to automatically articulate to the fold flat position during travel of the seat between these two use positions.
