  • Patent number: 9513926
Abstract: A tag mask generation method comprises receiving a section_selector flag indicating whether a tag mask for a section of a network packet is to be generated; receiving from a parser a parse information for the network packet, wherein the parse information includes a section_pointer that indicates a location of the section in the network packet; generating a pointer based on the section_pointer when the section_selector indicates that the tag mask for the section is to be generated; receiving a base mask for the section; and generating the tag mask via a shifter by shifting the base mask by the amount indicated by the pointer. The parse information may further include a section_pointer_valid flag indicating whether the section is included in the network packet, and the method may further comprise including the tag mask in a combined tag mask when the section_pointer_valid flag indicates that the section is included in the network packet.

  • Patent number: 9497747
Abstract: Techniques are provided for aggregating carriers with different carrier configurations. The carriers may include both time division duplex (TDD) and frequency division duplex (FDD) carriers which may be configured such that control information for both carrier types is conveyed by the TDD carrier. In one aspect, an association between a set of subframes, including both TDD and FDD subframes, is determined. The association may operate to distribute control information for the FDD carrier over uplink subframes of the TDD carrier to achieve a load balancing. Alternatively, the association may operate to minimize a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback delay. The TDD carrier may provide resource grants for the aggregated carriers and the association may be used to identify subframes from both carriers which may be scheduled in a given DL subframe.

  • Patent number: 9485687
Abstract: Techniques for compressing data in a wireless network are provided. Data may be in the form of data packets that have one or more headers and a payload. One or more compression initiation criteria are used to determine whether to compress all data or certain data. Different data may be associated with different classes of service. Compression initiation criteria for data that belongs to one class of service may be different than compression initiation criteria for data that belongs to another class of service. Compression initiation criteria for data may be different than one or more compression halting criteria that are used to determine whether to cease compressing data. One type of compression involves use of synchronized history buffers. A wireless receiver may communicate with a wireless transmitter that an error is detected and that the history buffers of the wireless transmitter should be flushed or cleared.

  • Patent number: 9473541
Abstract: A non-transitory computer-readable medium stores computer-readable instructions performing processes including a determination, a setting, a first generation, a second generation and a transmission operations. The determination operation determines whether a communication state is a first or second state based on at least one of transmission data transmitted by the communication device to a conference server and reception data received by the communication device from the conference server. The setting operation sets a combined time to a first or second period of time in response to the determination operation. The first generation operation generates sound data corresponding to the combined time, by sequentially compressing sampling data corresponding to the combined time in an order of storage in a first storage portion. The second generation operation generates a packet including the sound data.

  • Patent number: 9467933
Abstract: A device and method for active scanning are disclosed. The active scanning method in a wireless LAN can comprise the steps of: allowing an AP to receive a probe request frame containing an the AP identifier; determining whether the AP is a target AP or a non-target AP on the basis of the AP identifier; and performing back-off for the transmission of a probe response frame from a second interval after a first interval is terminated in a minimum channel interval when the AP is a non-target AP. Therefore, the present invention can prevent probe response frames from flooding a STA in a short period of time by distributing intervals in which probe response frames are received to the STA. In addition, the time used by the STA to perform active scanning can be reduced.
