Abstract: A request for a most reliable demographic fields data for a selected demographic field associated with an entity may be received at an entity matching system. A plurality of records associated with the entity may be received at the entity matching system. Each of the plurality of records may include at least one demographic field. A demographic field corresponding to the selected demographic field may be identified from the at least one demographic field for each of the plurality of records. A reliability score may be determined for the corresponding demographic field for each of the plurality of records. The corresponding demographic field with the highest reliability score may be determined as the most reliable demographic fields data.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a client device includes a first rule storage unit, a first check execution unit, a user interface control unit, a request transmission unit, and a rule update unit. The rule update unit requests a server device to transmit a rule for updating the first rule storage unit on the basis of a predetermined trigger and updates the first rule storage unit by using the rule transmitted from the server device as a response to the request. The server device has a client rule generation unit. The client rule generation unit generates the client rule to transmit the generated client rule to the client device of a request source when a rule request is received from the rule update unit.

Abstract: Techniques for ranking service implementations for a service interface are disclosed. Each module that includes a service implementation may be referred to as a “service provider module.” The ranking of the service implementations, for the particular service interface, may be based on modular information. Modular information includes information associated with module dependencies and/or service dependencies corresponding to one or more of a candidate set of service provider modules. Additionally or alternatively, the ranking of the service implementations, for the particular service interface, may be based on statically-available information and/or dynamically-available information associated with one or more of a candidate set of service implementations.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards real time display of event records and extracted values based on at least one extraction rule, such as a regular expression. A user interface may be employed to enable a user to have an extraction rule automatically generate and/or to manually enter an extraction rule. The user may be enabled to manually edit a previously provided extraction rule, which may result in real time display of updated extracted values. The extraction rule may be utilized to extract values from each of a plurality of records, including event records of unstructured machine data. Statistics may be determined for each unique extracted value, and may be displayed to the user in real time. The user interface may also enable the user to select at least one unique extracted value to display those event records that include an extracted value that matches the selected value.

An identification server in communication with the user device may receive a request from a browser of the user device to access, from a destination uniform resource locator (URL), an asset from the identification server. The request from the browser may be received from a website server. The asset is configured to be presented on a webpage hosted by the website server. The request from the browser may be modified to associate a new identity attribute of the user device with the request.

Abstract: Systems and methods for enabling a display of listings based on listing activity are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, activity information of a listing displayed among multiple listings is accessed. Whether the activity information of the listing conforms to one or more criteria is determined. A priority of the listing relative to the multiple listings is altered based on the activity information of the listing conforming to the one or more criteria. The listing is displayed among the multiple listings according to the altered priority of the listing.

Abstract: A method and system for improving access to search results are provided in the disclosure herein. Aspects of this disclosure minimize the delay in accessing network content by priming certain regularly viewed content (e.g., a web search home page or a search results page) in an invisible browser instance. As the user accesses the content prerendered in the invisible browser instance, a new instance of the prerendered content is created to facilitate future accesses to the network content (e.g., future search queries).

Abstract: Methods, systems, computer program products, and articles of manufacture for performing a query are described. Context information for formulating a query is obtained. The query is performed to identify a first card based on the context information, the query being performed by comparing the context information and an attribute of the first card, the attribute defining context of the first card. Abstract: A self-organizing list machine is provided for reordering items of a list in a manner that achieves both a constant and minimum time complexity. The self-organizing list machine comprises an array of symbol index generators, wherein (i) each symbol index generator has a unique location in the array between zero and N?1 inclusive, and (ii) N is the total number of unique symbols in a symbol alphabet.

The processing unit can determine an index mapping a predicate to data records associated with that predicate and approximation values of the records. The processing unit can process a query against the first subset to provide a first result and a first accuracy value, determine that the first accuracy value does not satisfy an accuracy criterion, and process the query against the index. In some examples, the processing unit can process the query against a second subset including data records satisfying a predetermined predicate. In some examples, the processing unit can receive data records and determine the first subset. Data records can include respective measure values. Data records with higher measure values can occur in the first subset more frequently than data records with lower measure values.

Abstract: In one respect, there is provided a distributed database system that includes hosts configured to store and/or manage data, a first query processing engine comprising a master node and an executor node, and a second query processing engine. The master node can be implemented on programmable processors and configured to perform operations. The operations can include: offloading, to the second query processing engine, a creation of a first and a second table such that the first and the second table are partitioned by the second query processing engine; generating an execution plan for a query on data in the distributed database system, the execution plan including a distributed join operation that combines data from the first and second table; determining to push down, to the second query processing engine, the distributed join operation; and dispatching, to the executor node, a portion of the execution plan including the distributed join operation.

Abstract: A data processing circuit includes a condition input circuit and a search engine array. The condition input circuit receives and stores multiple search conditions corresponding to multiple data search tasks. The search engine array receives the search conditions and performs the data search tasks in a parallel manner according to the search conditions. The search engine array includes a storage medium and multiple search engines. The search condition(s) corresponding to one data search task is provided to one search engine and the search engine array accesses a random access memory to load the data stored in the random access memory into the storage medium. The search engines search the data stored in the storage medium according to the corresponding search condition(s) to perform the corresponding data search task, concurrently, and obtain a corresponding search result.

Abstract: A pluggable database (PDB) that is encoded using a particular character set (differing character set) may be plugged into a container database (CDB) and queried, even when the CDB in which the particular PDB resides is encoded using a different character set. The DBMS records what character set is used to encode the PDB. Any predicate that may prune results from a PDB that is encoded in a differing character set is converted to the differing character set as needed, such that the predicate may be applied within the PDB to prune results. At times, cross-container views will require data from a PDB that is encoded using a differing character set. The data returned from a recursive query over the PDB is converted to being encoded using the character set of the root database of the CDB.

Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention, a system detects conditions for analytics and includes at least one processor. The system analyzes a structured document including a plurality of sections each specifying a set of conditions for members of a population in a structured format. The structured document is utilized to perform an analytic on the population. Each section within the structured document is identified and a corresponding set of conditions for that identified section in the structured format is extracted. The corresponding extracted set of conditions for each section is translated to an unstructured format for visual presentation of each identified section with a description of the corresponding set of conditions. Embodiments of the present invention further include a method and computer program product for detecting conditions for analytics in substantially the same manner described above.
