Abstract: The technology described herein allows a sender to initiate generation of a collaborative asset, which may be a video generated by merging videos provided by a group of users. The technology can facilitate the generation and collection of digital assets, such as video, images, and audio recordings from a group of users designed by the sender. The collaborative asset may be associated with a tangible object using a unique identifier located on the tangible object. The collaborative asset may be stored in computer memory on a user-experience server and associated with the unique identifier. When the unique identifier is provided to the user-experience server a second time, the collaborative asset can be retrieved and output to the computing device that provided the unique identifier. Thus, a user can initiate generation of a collaborative asset.

Abstract: Aspects and implementations provide for mechanisms of detection and decoding of barcodes in images. The disclosed techniques include estimating dimensions of a module of a barcode based on geometric characteristics of a barcode image, forming hypotheses that group modules into barcode symbols, and assessing viability of formed hypotheses. Various operations of the techniques may involve the use of neural networks, including estimation of module dimensions and assessment of groupings of modules into lines and lines into barcode symbols. The techniques may be used for decoding of barcodes captured in images of unfavorable conditions, including blur, perspective, sub-optimal lighting, barcode deformation, and the like. The techniques may be applied to decoding linear one-dimensional barcodes, two-dimensional barcodes, and stacked linear barcodes.

Abstract: Color Holographic Quick Response CHQR labels are scanned at identified locations by scanners that add their time, location, identification and process coded in the labels. The scanners scan and send that information and the scan data to a database having identification of all labels. The database verifies the scanner information to avoid counterfeiting. The information is hashed in the database, scanner and labels. Multiple labels of different types have distributed parts of the coded information and a decoding key. Color Holographic Quick Response labels have integrated radio frequency labels.

Abstract: An information processing system includes an identification unit configured to identify unique information on shoes using at least part of a captured image of the shoes, and a setting unit configured to set an association between an acquisition device configured to acquire the unique information and a module device attached to the shoes based on the unique information.
Abstract: A ticket issuing system has a processor and a storage with instructions thereon. The storage stores a feature value table that associates and stores feature value data including feature information pertaining to biometric information and a feature ID for identifying the feature value data. The instructions upon execution by the processor, cause the processor to: acquire user feature information pertaining to biometric information of a user of a ticket to be issued; identify, from among the feature value data stored in the feature value table, similar feature value data for which a similarity with the user feature information satisfies a predetermined criterion to obtain a feature ID corresponding to the similar feature value data; and issue a ticket on which authentication information that includes the feature ID corresponding to the similar feature value data is recorded.
Abstract: In some implementations, a system for verifying items in a retail environment includes a physical shopping cart including a first set of sensors, and an automated checkout station including a second, different set of sensors. The physical shopping cart receives item verification data for verifying an item, detects the item as it enters the physical shopping cart, and performs a primary verification of the item. The automated checkout station obtains a virtual shopping cart that corresponds to the physical shopping cart. The virtual shopping cart includes a list of items that have been placed in the physical shopping cart, and a verification status of each item. The second, different set of sensors generate station sensor data that represents the physical shopping cart and the items in the physical shopping cart. A secondary verification of the physical shopping cart and its contents is performed by the automated checkout station.

Abstract: An interactive data system in which a user, scanning a tag such as a QR-code, is directed to a destination (which may be one of a number of different destinations) which is determined by a profile of the user, which profile is established beforehand. Optionally access to a destination is also determined by an access permission which may be granted to the user. In one example a user, scanning a menu of food and beverage offerings, is directed to a choice of food and beverage which is dependent on the user's likes and dislikes, and dietary and similar factors.
