Abstract: A support for a portable electronic device, the support having a case that is configured to receive and hold the portable electronic device. A strap is coupled to the case and configured for fitting around an appendage of a user and allowing the user to support the case relative to the appendage. A support stand is coupled to the case independently of the strap and includes a portion that is swivelable away from the case and is configured, when swiveled away from the case, for supporting the case on an external surface in an angled arrangement relative to the external surface. Optionally, the base is positioned on a back plane of the case, and a rotational mechanism is coupled between the base and the case such that the case is rotatable relative to the base.

Abstract: A carrying bag with a water resistant Velcro® outer case and an activated carbon inner liner provides an odor proof capability. The Velcro® outer surface provides for user selected placement of one or more removable patch attachments. The invention described here reduces the need to purchase alternative backpacks due to endless user configuration of possible looks. The carry bag may include one or more carry handles and one or more shoulder straps.

Abstract: A holster support assembly for use by a user wearing a belt is adjustable for both drop and cant. The assembly includes a belt support that engages and is supported by the user's belt, the belt support defining a plurality of drop positions spaced apart along the track to enable the user to set the drop position of the holster. The assembly also includes a holster mount supported on the belt support for sliding movement relative to the belt support, the holster mount configured for supporting a holster. The holster mount has a first condition in which the holster mount is engaged with the belt support thereby blocking rotation of the holster mount relative to the belt support, and is selectively movable into a second condition in which the holster mount is rotatable relative to the belt support about an axis to enable the user to set the cant position of the holster relative to the belt support.

Abstract: A carry container is interchangeable between a closed position and an open position, wherein the container converts into a protective mat, such as a placemat, and becomes a barrier against germs. In one embodiment, the carry container includes an outer shell including a bottom panel and four side panels extending from the bottom panel and being configured to releasably attach to each of the two neighboring side panels using a fastener to form a container for carrying one or more items, such as food items. An inner lining formed by a generally square sheet is attached to an inner facing side of the outer shell and defines the protective mat when the outer shell is in an open position and flat on a surface. The container can be easily converted between the closed position (lunch box) and open position (protective mat).

Abstract: A removable roller tray for use in a pickup truck bed, wherein the tray comprises a base and a handle arranged on an edge of the base. The tray further comprises a plurality of notches arranged on a top surface of the base and a plurality of rollers arranged on a bottom surface of the base. The tray further comprises at least one lanyard connected to a side edge of the base on a first end thereof and a surface of the pickup truck on a second end thereof. The removable roller tray may allow for easy removal of items stored near the front of the pickup truck bed by allowing the removable roller tray to roll out to a predetermined position on the bed and extended tailgate.

Abstract: A portable apparatus with deployable visibility enhancing signals includes a backpack member from which a pair of flag members are deployable to extend up and out of the backpack member behind a wearer's shoulders to resemble wings of a beast or an animal. The flag members incorporate bright, visually distinct fabrics, to increase the visibility profile of the wearer. An elongate member, reminiscent of a tail, may also be incorporated and deployed to dangle behind the wearer to augment the semblance of a winged beast or animal.

Abstract: A wearable eyeglass holder that holds a temple of a folded pair of eyeglasses in a manner that resists the inadvertent unfolding of the held temple and the wearer's loss of the eyeglasses. The eyeglass holder has a connector that enables it to be attached, in a pendulous manner, to the wearer's neck, clothing, or other object. The eyeglass holder has an oblong body with a double convex shape and a longitudinal inner channel with two oblong openings on the same face of the body. A temple of a pair of eyeglasses, inserted through the upper opening, comes to rest upon a waist extending between the openings. The eyeglasses rest on the waist and a foot of the body provides a second contact point with the temple that maintains it in a closed position.

Abstract: A storage unit intended for mounting on the rear of a golf cart type vehicle is designed to protrude from the rear of the golf cart to provide more storage space. The storage unit is further designed to be removable, and may be subdivided with movable partitions. Several features are described for its attachment onto the rear of the golf cart in different ways, including specific types of attachments and frameworks for use with and without rear shelf wells on the golf cart. These are designed for greater security in holding the storage unit onto the golf cart, and include adjustable or removable bottom protrusions for use with a rear shelf well, or the attachment frame system without a rear shelf well. In addition, a system is described to allow the storage unit to be folded, such that it can be more compactly folded and shipped, stored or transported.

Abstract: A rack for carrying cargo on top of a vehicle is disclosed, comprising a pair of longitudinal support assemblies. Each support assembly is configured for mounting on a crossbar secured across the roof of a vehicle, and includes a stationary base and an extendable rail. Each rail is moveable between a first position in which the rail is substantially coextensive with the base, a second position in which the rail extends significantly beyond the end of the base, and a third position in which the rail pivots downward adjacent a side of the vehicle. Each rail also has a proximal end portion and a distal end portion, with a loading arm pivotably connected to the distal end portion. The loading arm is moveable between a collapsed position parallel the rail and an extended loading position.

Abstract: A sealing and cutting assembly for engaging a bag to cut and reseal the bag comprises a first sealing strip and a second sealing strip connected at corresponding ends thereof and engaging both sides the bag therebetween. A slider block is movable along the first sealing strip and the second sealing strip. Movement of the slider block in a first direction bringing the first sealing strip and the second sealing strip into sealing engagement with one another to seal the bag, and movement of the slider block in a second direction releasing the first sealing strip and the second sealing strip from said sealing engagement to open the bag. A cutting mechanism mounted on the slider block, wherein the cutting mechanism moves with the slider block along the first sealing strip and the second sealing strip.

Abstract: A head mounted display mounting assembly for casual headwear is provided. The assembly comprises a resilient support band that is employed to secure a head-mounted display unit to a piece of casual headwear worn by a user. The head mounted display mounting assembly can be supported by pre-existing structures (e.g., sweat band) of a piece of casual headwear, and further supported and/or secured to temple regions of the casual headwear. Once seated within and secured to the piece of casual headwear, the head-mounted display unit can be secured to the head mounted display mounting assembly, providing a comfortable and integrated wearable experience for the user.

Abstract: A dried food fresh-keeping packaging bag structure is provided. When the user wants to pack a dried food, a pull portion of a fresh-keeping exhaust valve is pulled outwardly toward the outside of the mouth of the packaging bag to tear a first sealing film to open a filling chamber. Then, the dried food is placed into the packaging bag, and the mouth of the packaging bag is closed. The exhaust valve blocks the outside air from returning to the interior of the packaging bag to provide a non-return exhaust effect. A preservative in the filling chamber communicates with the interior of the packaging bag to dehumidify or deoxidize the air remaining in the packaging bag.

Abstract: A magnetic holder for sockets made of silicone rubber or similar material that has a series of cylindrical troughs of consistent diameter and a flat surface on the opposing plane. Between the cylindrical troughs and the opposing flat surface are a series of magnets embedded in the rubber. The magnets are position so that one pole is directed towards the cylindrical trough and the opposite pole is directed towards the flat surface. The flat surface can be attached to any ferrous material, while each of the magnets and cylindrical roughs will work together to hold a socket in place.
