  • Patent number: 10982762
Abstract: A hydrostatic transmission implements a braking system, in which at least one adjustable traction motor acting as a pump is supported via a closed circuit on an adjustable axial piston machine acting as a motor, which in turn is supported on an internal combustion engine. Since the internal combustion engine should not be rotated at excessive revolution rates, a control unit adjusts the swivel angle of the axial piston machine during braking. The axial piston machine is load-sensitive, as a relationship between the control pressure and the revolution rate and the pivot angle of the machine consists of a pressure difference between the two working lines of the closed circuit. Using a pre-control, a swivel angle of the axial piston machine is set during braking, and the swivel angle is corrected by a revolution rate controller, such that a target revolution rate is obtained on the combustion engine.

  • Patent number: 10955052
Abstract: In a drive unit which has an axial piston pump and an electronic control unit, the axial piston pump is pivoted with a method in which pressure-reducing valves which act in opposition to one another are suddenly energized. Since in this respect no orifices are provided in the adjustment device, a so-called initiation jump of the excited current gives rise to a sudden reduction in the assigned actuating pressure or the actuating pressure difference formed therefrom. Then, a zero crossover jump of the excited current or of the excited currents is carried out in order to overcome the centering spring and therefore ensure a continuous zero crossover of the axial piston pump. Furthermore, a hydrostatic traction drive includes such a drive unit.

  • Patent number: 10947702
Abstract: In a hydraulic drive system for an electrically driven hydraulic work machine that executes flow rate control of a hydraulic pump by controlling a rotation speed of an electric motor to drive a hydraulic pump to supply a hydraulic fluid to a plurality of actuators, and power consumed by the electric motor reliably limited within a range of preset maximum allowable power without unnecessary degradation of responsiveness of the electric motor. To this end, a controller includes a maximum angular acceleration limitation section (allowable rate computation section and rate limitation section), computes hydraulic power consumed by a main pump, computes a maximum angular acceleration allowed for an electric motor on the basis of a magnitude of the hydraulic power and a preset maximum allowable power consumable by the electric motor, and limits an angular acceleration of the electric motor not to exceed the maximum angular acceleration.
