  • Patent number: 11375373
Abstract: Disclosed are an authorization management method and system for a signal transmission bandwidth of a DAS communication system. The system consists of an access unit, an extension unit, and a distal unit. The radio frequency access unit is connected to the extension unit. The extension unit is connected to the distal unit. The extension unit mainly implements the extension of a proximal unit port, the extension of a transmission distance, and a transmission bandwidth control function. The distal unit mainly implements the coverage of a radio frequency signal to a specific area. The signal transmission bandwidth of the extension unit is controlled by setting an authorization file formed by authorizing the transmission bandwidth on an extension unit device. When the signal transmission bandwidth configured by a user on the extension unit is not greater than the authorized bandwidth, the configuration becomes effective, and the system performs normal transmission.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a method and device in communication node for wireless communications. The communication node receives first information and second information, transmits a first signaling, and transmits a first signal; the first information is used for determining first power, the second information is used for determining a reference pathloss; wherein the first signaling is used for indicating a target distance and time-frequency resources occupied by the first signal; the reference pathloss corresponds to a reference distance, the reference distance being greater than 0; a ratio between the target distance and the reference distance as well as the reference pathloss are used together for determining a target pathloss; the target pathloss is used for determining second power, and a smaller value between the first power and the second power is used for determining transmitting power of the first signal. The present disclosure can effectively support power control for Groupcast.

  • Patent number: 11343677
Abstract: To allow secure communications between a video capturing device and mobile devices, an association process includes providing a unique pattern, such as a QR code, to the mobile device in proximity to the video capturing device. The unique pattern is used by the mobile device to request pairing with the client device, either directly or via a cloud-based system. The QR code includes an identifier or “shared secret” that allows the client device to verify the pairing request originates from the mobile device in close proximity. The association process may also involve cryptographic keys to further secure communications and may also involve a process to retrieve a mobile app without additional user intervention. Once the devices are associated, they can communicate directly using wireless communications, such as cellular or WiFi, and transfer video data and other data automatically.

  • Patent number: 11246032
Abstract: Among other things, techniques are described for provisioning and authentication of devices in vehicles. In one aspect, a device in a vehicle establishes a communication session with a network server that manages provisioning of devices corresponding to an enterprise associated with the vehicle. The device receives instructions from the network server to generate cryptographic keys, and in response, generates a public and private key pair. The device sends, to the network server, a certificate signing request that includes the public key and an identifier of the device. In response, the device receives a digital security certificate for the device, and a security certificate of a signing certificate authority. The device authenticates the security certificate of the certificate authority using a known enterprise root certificate, and upon successful authentication, stores the device security certificate and the security certificate of the signing certificate authority.
