  • Patent number: 10418690
Abstract: An earthing card emits energy tuned to the natural frequency of the Earth. The card may include a material, carbon fiber or other substrate, programmed using scalar waves. Information is embedded into the carbon fiber via a system that uses a wave function generator to produce resonant frequencies for the application and drive wave information from a transmitting electrode to a receiving electrode. The scalar waves between the electrodes may be subjected to a wave or field source modulating the resultant wave information received at the receiving electrode. A material placed on a receiving coil at the receiving electrode receives the resultant wave information programming the material to emit energy tuned to the natural frequencies of the Earth. By placing the card on the body or running water over the card and spraying the body, the body will receive the energetic information emitted by the programmed material.

  • Patent number: 10416266
Abstract: In multi-echo imaging, in imaging in which pulses other than a 180° pulse are included in refocus RF pulses, a high-quality image in which the intended contrast is emphasized is obtained by reducing unnecessary contrast. Therefore, imaging parameters are adjusted so as to reduce the unnecessary contrast. The adjustment is performed so that, for echo signals from tissues having the same relaxation time to cause intended contrast among echo signals from a plurality of tissues having different relaxation times, the difference between the signal strengths of echo signals to determine the contrast, such as echo signals at the k-space center, is reduced. Imaging parameters to be adjusted include a repetition time, the FA of a DE pulse, the FA of a saturation pulse, the application timing of the saturation pulse, the application strength of a gradient magnetic field in a recovery period, application timing, and the like.

  • Patent number: 10416216
Abstract: This disclosure concerns photonics and in particular the addressing of individual targets in solids. In aspect one there is provided a device comprising a solid substrate with one or more atomic scale targets in the substrate. A laser light is focused on a region of the substrate that contains a single target to selectively cause photoionization of the target. A charge sensor with sub-electron charge sensitivity is focussed on measuring the charge in the region of the substrate that contains a single target. In use, the device operates such that the laser is turned on to cause photoionization of the target, and the charge sensor detects the change in charge in the region of the substrate that contains the single target. In another aspect is the method for optically investigating individual nuclear spin states of single atoms by investigating both the Zeeman effect and the hyperfine interaction of the single atoms.

  • Patent number: 10408651
Abstract: A method for determining a pulse duration T90 of a 90° pulse in a nuclear magnetic measuring method. A signal generator has a known generator resistance RS, wherein a coil has a coil impedance ZL with a coil resistance RL and a coil reactance XL, wherein a coupling circuit has an adjustable matching capacitance CM and an adjustable tuning capacitance CT, and wherein the medium has a Larmor precession having an angular Larmor frequency ?P. The time needed for determining the pulse duration T90 of the 90° pulse is reduced by the matching capacitance CM and the tuning capacitance CT being set so that the angular resonance frequency ?0 corresponds to the angular Larmor frequency ?P and by power matching being present between the signal generator and the coil. The coil resistance RL is determined and the pulse duration T90 is determined as a function of the coil resistance RL.

  • Patent number: 10401313
Abstract: Downhole fluid volumes of a geological formation may be estimated using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) measurements, even in organic shale reservoirs. Multi-dimensional NMR measurements, such as two-dimensional NMR measurements and/or, in some cases, one or more well-logging measurements relating to total organic carbon may be used to estimate downhole fluid volumes of hydrocarbons such as bitumen, light hydrocarbon, kerogen, and/or water. Having identified the fluid volumes in this manner or any other suitable manner from the NMR measurements, a reservoir producibility index (RPI) may be generated. The downhole fluid volumes and/or the RPI may be output on a well log to enable an operator to make operational and strategic decisions for well production.
