Abstract: The disclosed apparatus, systems and methods relate a failover and internet connection monitoring system featuring a cloud server running an API, a probe, a firewall and a policy routing system. The failover connection monitoring system is capable of gathering and analyzing performance data and controlling the flow of packets to and from the internet over one or more connections to optimize performance of the network.

Abstract: This disclosure is directed to a universal interface for sensor devices. Applications executed in a device may interact with sensor devices via a universal interface. For example, the device may act as a gateway allowing Internet of Things (IoT) devices to interact with at least one resource external to the environment in which the IoT devices operate. The device may comprise at least memory circuitry to store at least a virtual file system and at least one application. The virtual file system may provide a programmatic interface through which at least one sensor device may be accessible to the at least one application. Processing circuitry in the device may execute an application from those stored within the memory circuitry. The application, when executed, may cause interconnect circuitry also in the device to at least one of transmit instructions to, or receive data from, a sensor device utilizing the virtual file system.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus are described providing social networking engines. Specifically, the present specification relates to a method for implementing software containers implementing social network engines that may be configured to act in a zero-knowledge environment. In such implementations, all information pertaining to the social network engine associated with a user that is stored in the container is solely that of a user unless explicitly shared by the user. In some implementations, the containers may be configured to participate in a publish-and-subscribe network in order to share information. In addition, the containers may be provisioned with controls so that global operators may comply with local privacy rules.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for blockchain-based file processing are provided. One of the methods includes: receiving, from a client, a request for downloading a target file stored in a blockchain, the request comprising a network address of the client and a file address of the target file; identifying, based on the network address information of the client, a target blockchain node associated with the blockchain for downloading the target file, the target blockchain node having a network address that is the closest to the network address of the client among a set of candidate blockchain nodes; downloading the target file from the determined target blockchain node based on the file address information; and returning the downloaded target file to the client.

Abstract: The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for detecting events from ingested data. Data is ingested. A first score is computed from a portion of the data. The first score indicates a likelihood of the data including event information. Computing resources are allocated to further process the data based on the first score indicating that further processing is warranted. A second score is computed from parameters of the data. An event is detected based on the second score.

Abstract: A method, user equipment (UE) and application server for adding media stream of multimedia session. A UE1 establishes a multimedia session with a UE2, receives a media stream adding request directed at the multimedia session of the UE1; the media stream adding request includes an identity of a UE3 and the media type of the media flow requested to be added; the UE3 is controlled to establish a media stream of the media type with the UE2. Therefore, adding the media stream on the UE3 is realized, and the user may realize the multimedia session with the peer end through multiple UEs, thereby avoiding the inconvenience that the media stream can only be added to the two parties in the session and living up to the users' diversified requirements on the multimedia services.

A portion of the signal is selected from within the signal. A first score is computed from the selected portion. The first score indicates a likelihood of the signal including information related to an event type. It is determined that processing of another signal is warranted based on the indicated likelihood. Resources are allocated to process the other signal. The other signal is ingested. Parameters associated with the other signal are accessed. A second score is computed from the parameters utilizing the allocated resources. A previously unidentified event of the event type is identified based on the second score and utilizing the allocated resources. A privacy infrastructure spans signal ingestion, event detection, and event notification and protects the integrity of private information.
