Abstract: A telecommunications panel and associated system are disclosed. In one example, the panel includes a panel housing having a first side and a second side, one or more data connectors on the first side, and a power input signal connector on the first side. The panel includes one or more combined power output and data signal connectors on the second side, each of the combined power output and data signal connectors configured to electrically connect to a twisted pair cable and including a plurality of twisted pairs each having first and second wire contacts. The one or more twisted pairs are configured to carry a power signal as a direct current voltage difference between the first and second wire contacts, and the remaining twisted pairs from the plurality of twisted pairs are configured to carry differential data signals. The telecommunications panel is configured to selectably allow pairs of the remaining twisted pairs from the plurality of twisted pairs to cooperate to carry a power signal.

  • Patent number: 10172135
Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) (e.g., a millimeter WTRU (mWTRU)) may receive a first control channel using a first antenna pattern. The WTRU may receive a second control channel using a second antenna pattern. The WTRU may demodulate and decode the first control channel. The WTRU may demodulate and decode the second control channel. The WTRU may determine, using at least one of: the decoded first control channel or the second control channel, beam scheduling information associated with the WTRU and whether the WTRU is scheduled for an mmW segment. The WTRU may form a receive beam using the determined beam scheduling information. The WTRU receive the second control channel using the receive beam. The WTRU determine, by demodulating and decoding the second control channel, dynamic per-TTI scheduling information related to a data channel associated with the second control channel.

  • Patent number: 10123357
Abstract: To solve a problem that unless all of a plurality of AICH signature states are correctly decoded, the contents of reception results cannot be recognized and the error rate of signature decoding will be high. In this embodiment, a base station uses, out of a signature combination, the signature of at least one predetermined position to indicate information containing a preamble reception result and uses the signature of a position other than the predetermined position to indicate a transmission profile information number of an uplink channel for notification to a user equipment. Thus, the error rate related to reception results can be reduced as compared with the case where a single signature combination is used to notify all pieces of information.

  • Patent number: 10116575
Abstract: A method of powerline communications in a powerline communications (PLC) network including a first PLC device and at least a second PLC device. The first PLC device transmits a data frame to the second node over a PLC channel. The second PLC device has a data buffer for storing received information. The second PLC device runs a flow control algorithm which determines a current congestion condition or a projected congestion condition of the data buffer based on at least one congestion parameter. The current congestion condition and projected congestion condition include nearly congested and fully congested. When the current or projected congestion condition is either nearly congested or fully congested, the second PLC device transmits a BUSY including frame over the PLC channel to at least the first PLC device. The first PLC device defers transmitting of any frames to the second PLC device for a congestion clearing wait time.

  • Patent number: 10116570
Abstract: An in-vehicle network system includes a receiver node and a sender node, among which the receiver node adds payload length information to a flow control frame, and sends the flow control frame to a sender node using a control protocol, and the sender node determines a payload length of a consecutive frame based on the payload length information for the sending of the consecutive frame after the reception of the flow control frame, thereby variably changing the payload length and reducing communication load of the network bus, without complicating a configuration and/or a control of the network system.

  • Patent number: 10111180
Abstract: A power control method and device are disclosed. The method comprises: a user equipment receiving a power adjustment value corresponding to transmit diversity determined and sent by a network side device; the user equipment determines a transmission power for a PUCCH transmission according to the power adjustment value. In the embodiment of the present invention, the transmission power adopted by the transmission PUCCH channel is determined according to the power adjustment value corresponding to the transmission diversity, solving the problem of inaccurate power control after introducing the PUCCH transmission diversity, so that each PUCCH format is capable of performing transmission diversity power control independently.

  • Patent number: 10098174
Abstract: In one aspect, the application running on mobile device creates a unique identifier. This unique identifier acts as the “permanent address” for sending packets from the proxy server to the mobile application. The current IP address of the device is used as a “temporary forwarding address” for the packet. When the IP address of the mobile device changes, the application on the device quickly informs the proxy server about this change. This allows the proxy server to continue sending the remaining data of this download session to the newly acquired IP address without having to restart the entire download session from scratch.

  • Patent number: 10098126
Abstract: Method performed by a transmitting device for transmitting a block to a receiving device, both devices operating in a wireless communications network. The block comprises four bursts, which further comprise fields for Uplink State Flags (USF), Stealing Flags (SF), and data/header bits. In a first block format, USF and SF fields are interleaved and mapped over the four bursts, while data/header fields are interleaved over one burst but repeated over the four bursts. The data/header fields are overlapping with and overridden by bits from the USF field in different positions in each burst. The receiving device can receive the transmitted block and, if it is determined that the block format corresponds to the first block format, can correct a frequency offset of the receiving device in relation to the transmitting device based on the plurality of data/header bits received in at least one pair of consecutive bursts.

  • Patent number: 10084590
Abstract: Techniques are provided for aggregating carriers with different carrier configurations. The carriers may include both time division duplex (TDD) and frequency division duplex (FDD) carriers which may be configured such that control information for both carrier types is conveyed by the TDD carrier. In one aspect, an association between a set of subframes, including both TDD and FDD subframes, is determined. The association may operate to distribute control information for the FDD carrier over uplink subframes of the TDD carrier to achieve a load balancing. Alternatively, the association may operate to minimize a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback delay. • Patent number: 10079658
Abstract: An enhanced physical downlink control channel (e-PDCCH) may provide carrier aggregation (CA) enhancements, help support new carriers which may not be backwards compatible, reduce control channel capacity limitations of coordinated multipoint (CoMP) transmissions, and enhance DL MIMO. In wireless communication networks, such as Long Term Evolution (LTE), user equipments (UEs) may monitor both a common search space and a UE-specific search space in a control region. A search space may comprise a set of channel control element (CCE) locations where a UE may find its PDCCHs. One or more CCEs are used to transmit each PDCCH. Certain aspects provide methods and apparatus for determining a search space comprising a subset of CCEs located on a band edge of available frequency resources, and performing a search of the search space to decode at least one PDCCH.
