Abstract: Methods and systems for managing the playback of media content via a website accessed by a user computer are described. According to aspects, the methods and systems may access and retrieve various data associated with media content such as website context data, content data of the media content itself, and engagement data related to an interaction by a user with the media content playback. The methods and systems may analyze any combination of the data to identify a relevant media file that may be of interest to the user and provide the media file to the user computer for playback by the user. The analysis models may be continuously updated and used to improve media selection and streamline partnerships with third-party entities.

Abstract: As disclosed herein a method, executed by a computer, includes generating, by a software asset management tool (SAM), a baseline event set comprising a plurality of events corresponding to an environment. The method further includes receiving a future event set comprising one or more future events corresponding to the environment. The method further includes combining the future event set and the baseline event set to produce an effective event set. The method further includes performing calculations and generating reports corresponding to the effective event set. A computer system, and a computer program product corresponding to the method are also disclosed herein.

Abstract: Disclosed are examples of systems, apparatus, methods and computer program products for combining updates of a social network feed. In some implementations, a feed of a social networking system can be configured to share feed items associated with an enterprise record. The feed items can include a first update associated with a first user. A first request to share a comment on the first update can be processed. A second request to share a first post in a feed can be processed. The first post can be related to the first update based on a first attribute conforming to a second attribute. A combined update can be generated based on the first post being related to the first update. The combined update can be displayed in a feed.

Abstract: A computer system includes a master controller that receives an HTTP request for a first URL. The URL indicates a first state of a first mobile application. A navigation controller navigates to the first state of the first mobile application within a device. A content scraper extracts content from the first state and identifies forward links to corresponding additional states of the first mobile application. The computer system includes an output formatter configured to package the content and the forward links into an HTTP response and transmit the HTTP response to a source of the first HTTP request. The HTTP response includes a forward URL for each additional state of the first mobile application reachable from the first state. For each additional state, the forward URL includes an indicator of the first mobile application and a path to reach the additional state within the first mobile application.

Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for multi-tenancy enablement of enterprise Java™ applications using resource proxies and application tenancy context. In according with an embodiment, the system and method can provide a plurality of deployable resources which can be used within the application server environment, and one or more application deployments, wherein each application deployment includes at least one of tenant-specific code and shared-tenant code. The system and method can further determine an application tenancy context of a thread, and point to one or more resource proxies, each of the one or more resource proxies being configurable to communicate with a tenant specific resource. Each of the one or more resource proxies can use the application tenancy context of a thread to communicate with a tenant specific resource.

Abstract: A system and method of distributed computation based upon a novel partitioning of computer networks. In the distributed computing system of the present invention, instructions are disseminated to select agents on a computer network, each of which is a member of at least one “path,” a path being an ordered set of one or more connected agents within the network. The computation is then performed by the agents along the path, and any results then returned. A computation to be performed is broken down into instructions executed on a unique ordered sequence of agents making up a path. This vastly increases the expressive power of a single network to be not only the sum of its parts, but the sum of all possible configurations of those parts on a graph. The basic components of the computing system are agents, probes and paths. The agents are interconnected forming a network and a path is an ordered sequence of agents.

Abstract: Techniques and a system are provided for a profile manager system that stores multiple profiles. These profiles are used by a content selection system to match entities to content for which the entities would be best suitable. The profile manager system allows a content selection system to identify, in response to a request associated with an entity, different pieces of data from different data sources and match the different pieces of data when the difference pieces of data refer to the same entity. The profile manager system may also provide merging of the different pieces of data, when they are matched as referring to the same entity.

Abstract: A method for analyzing streaming data includes providing a streaming accumulator comprising an addition module and two multiplexers, receiving one or more data streams, continuously calculating a set of basic statistical elements, receiving a request to calculate a set of statistical descriptors, calculating the set of statistical descriptors, and providing the set of statistical descriptors. An apparatus for analyzing streaming data includes a first multiplexer configured to receive a first summation, a second summation, and a current data item, and forward the first summation on cycles 1 and 3, forward the second summation on cycle 4, and forward the current data item on cycle 2, a second multiplexer configured to receiver the second summation, a third summation, and a previous data item, and forward the previous data item on cycles 1 and 3, forward the second summation on cycle 4, and forward the third summation on cycle 2.

Abstract: In an example, there is disclosed a computing apparatus for providing an integrated service engine on a service appliance requiring switching or routing services, including one or more logic elements providing a service appliance engine operable for performing a service appliance function; and one or more logic elements providing a protocol engine operable for: creating a route required by the service appliance; and sending an integrated service engine message (remote route programmability and distribution (RRPD) to an upstream network member comprising instructions to realize the route on the upstream network member. From the resource information, the application obtains one or more log entries from the correlated resource, and displays the first log entry and the correlated log entry on a display.

Abstract: An example method of moving RDMA memory from a first node to a second node includes protecting a memory region from write operations. The memory region resides on a first node and includes a set of RDMA memory pages. A list specifies the set of RDMA memory pages and is associated with a memory handler. The set of RDMA memory pages includes a first memory page. The method also includes allocating a second memory page that resides on a second node and copying data stored in the first memory page to the second memory page. The method also includes updating the list by replacing the first memory page specified in the list with the second memory page. The method further includes registering the updated list as RDMA memory. The updated list is associated with the memory handler after the registering.

Interface software is configured to initiate retrieval, by a caching server, of electronic streaming resources from the one or more storage devices in response to requests for the electronic streaming resource received by the streaming media server.

Abstract: A system comprises a storage device, a piece of medical equipment, a portable computing device, and a hub portal. The piece of medical equipment has at least one electrically powered feature and comprises either a medical examination table or a storage cabinet. One example can identify devices that are associated with a set of users and that are proximate to a location and obtain operational information about the devices. The example can establish a PCDN for the devices at the location. The PCDN can be configured to obscure identification of the devices to entities outside the PCDN and to aggregate content that may be requested by individual users among multiple individual devices.

Abstract: A method and system are disclosed for providing near-real-time actionable insights associated with user interactions within a social media environment. A first and second set of social media data, respectively associated with a first and second set of social media interactions, are processed to generate a first and second set of Social Network Advocacy Pulse (SNAP) data in near-real-time. The resulting first and second sets of SNAP data are then processed to generate a first and second set of actionable insight data, which respectively indicate a near-real-time measurement of sentiment and advocacy related to a predetermined business aspect. The first and second sets of social pricing index data are then processed to generate a set of actionable insight differential data, which indicates a corresponding improvement or decline in sentiment or advocacy related to the business aspect.
