Abstract: An end to end integrated technology solution available to increase overall crop yield and a communication platform to connect growers with the marketplace and an infrastructure for agriculture management, logistics, storage, distribution and delivery. Offering a global solution to this problem that provides a consolidated and integrated IoT (Internet of Things) system where data collection, monitoring, control and communication platform are managed using a single platform. An agricultural IoT monitoring device based on wireless mesh network sensing, where this device can monitor the temperature, humidity, vibration and other parameters of an agricultural cultivation base. The device is designed with a microcontroller, a sensing unit, WiFi module, LoRa communication network where it uses WiFi Mesh Network or LoRaWAN to capture real-time data for remote viewing and analyzing intelligence data for preventive actions. This single IoT system platform is providing solution for agriculture and various applications.
Abstract: An apparatus and method for substantially reducing or eliminating the introduction of ambient air into an open-crankcase compressor is disclosed. The method employs a compressed gas recycle control loop to reduce the magnitude of vacuum inside the open-crankcase compressor relative to ambient air pressure, thereby reducing or eliminating the introduction of ambient air into the open-crankcase compressor during the gas compression process.
Abstract: Device architectures for a Silicon-On-Insulator Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor-Field-Effect-Transistor (SOI-MOSFET) were defined. They incorporated configurations of Body-Tied-Source that drastically increased the conductance that an Impact-Ionizations current sees from the body of an SOI-MOSFET. This consequently permitted the SOI-MOSFET to effectively operate at far higher operating biases.
Abstract: An object of this invention is to prevent the collapse of structures such as boat lifts, where the collapse is caused by corrosion of metal fasteners inside conductive material such as moist wood in the presence of ground voltage differences, and where the corrosion is prevented by blocking current from flowing through the fasteners.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) cutter with protective barrier coating. The PDC cutter consists of an unleached or leached polycrystalline diamond (PCD) table, a cemented carbide body substrate, and a coating disposed on the cutter. The coating covers at least partially the exterior surfaces of the PCD table of the PDC cutter, and it may also extend over partially or entirely the exterior surfaces of the cemented carbide body. The coating is either a single layer or multilayer. The coating has a thickness of 0.4 ?m-100 ?m. The coating may have a strong metallurgical bonding with PDC cutter. The coating comprises an oxidation-resistant layer that protects the PDC cutter from thermal and mechanical degeneration during brazing and cutting applications. Methods for preparing such the coating comprise physical vapor deposition, chemical vapor deposition, thermoreactive deposition and diffusion, electrical plating, electroless plating, or their combinations.
Abstract: A system comprises a smart hybrid solar panel that employs a self-powered adaptive temperature control. Active temperature regulation may be implemented using a heat pump such as, and without limitations, thermoelectric (TE) cooling modules and a switching circuit with variable duty cycle that periodically diverts the photovoltaic solar cell's output to the heat pump. A smart software defined control system may algorithmically adjust the switching duty cycle to maximize the net power output of the panel based on a variety of sensory inputs and/or algorithms. The variety of sensory inputs may include weather forecast information, internal panel temperature, ambient air temperature, panel output voltage and current and humidity. The photovoltaic solar cells and heat pump may be mechanically integrated.

The mobile device searches for, the broadcasting of the external devices operating control panel. When the mobile device is in the vicinity, of one of the external devices, the mobile device, automatically connects to and communicates, with the external device. The device's operating control panel is downloaded to the mobile device. The panel is shown on the mobile device's display. The user operates the external device, by inputting into the shown control panel. Different devices can be operated by phone, such as, elevators, and room lights, etc. The mobile device reduces the transference of bacteria to a user, by reducing touch input into multiuser displays. Pre-set external device settings can be stored on the mobile device, and can be automatically downloaded to the associated external device.
Abstract: A wave powered electricity generator is provided. Waves are separated from a floating platform unit by using a partition plate unit so that the floating platform unit enclosed by the partition plate unit is almost no wave. The waves outside the partition plate unit are to move many floating ball units up and down so that the racks provided on each of the floating ball units are capable of rotating the gears extending from the floating platform unit, and the rotational forces of gears are regulated through ratchets and consolidated to produce a power for driving generators. The racks on the floating ball units and the gears on the floating platform unit are pulled together by using springs. The resilient force of the two springs simultaneously helps the rack's ‘up and down’ in smooth reciprocating motion. Then the gears directly and indirectly output a force to drive generators.
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for the automatic provisioning of backup starting power to a starter of a vehicle with a depleted main starting battery. The system comprises a backup battery installed in the vehicle and electrically coupled conditionally to the main starting battery, a controller, a wireless transceiver and a wireless personal computing device with a recharging application installed therein. An exemplary method includes monitoring the main starting battery and the backup battery, receiving a recharge command, electrically connecting the backup battery to the main starting battery, starting the vehicle and disconnecting the backup battery. The installed application also comprises a graphical user interface though which the deterioration of the main charging battery may be monitored and through which the controller may send an assistance request to a third party.
Abstract: Disclosed is a new classification of Turbine Prime Mover, capable of producing high magnitudes of rotational speed, potential rotating energy and power production. The invention is a rotating machine adapted to be propelled by the net force created by asymmetric radio frequency resonant cavities (7). The turbine employs thrusters (7) electrically driven by microwave signals produced from adapted Klystron Tubes (3). By optimizing microwave production, and thruster pressures via the internal radio frequency cavity resonance, power in the field of the thruster by wave tube amplification, internal reflectivity and cooling, the principles of rotor-dynamics are applied to produce a new class of energy storage machine. Low power inputs yield high energy magnitudes over time accumulated thruster operation in the rotor. The turbine rotor is capable of acting as a prime mover for energy injection into a rotor mass, or can create real work by outputting rotational energy into torque.
Abstract: The Electret Energy Storage System (EESS) achieves an advancement in the energy storage field due to high energy/power level densities integrated into a long term energy storage solution. Combining the high density energy storage solution of the EESS with traditional battery storage technologies reduces the overall energy storage three dimensional footprint when compared to battery only footprints. This combined EESS/battery long term energy storage provides a solution in providing energy from renewable energy systems when the presence of the wind or sun are not available when compared to traditional battery only storage solutions.
Abstract: The present railway car hatch cover latch assembly includes a latch plate. One end of the latch assembly rod is affixed to a bracket, with the adjustable end usually comprising an eye at the end of a threaded shaft. The threaded shaft is received in a keeper. The keeper in turn supports and holds a coil spring between the eye and the keeper cap. A bent hooking rod has two upturned ends that hold the end of the coil spring nearest the eye. The center of the bent hooking rod extends from the keeper to form a receiver. A latch plate includes a pivot rod that extends through the receiver of the bent hooking rod. The latch paddle itself contacts and holds the hatch cover is a compressively closed position against the railway car hatch ring.
Abstract: A linear energy harvesting device that includes a housing and a piston that moves at least partially through the housing when it is compressed or extended from a rest position. When the piston moves, hydraulic fluid is pressurized and drives a hydraulic motor. The hydraulic motor drives an electric generator that produces electricity. Both the motor and generator are central to the device housing. Exemplary configurations are disclosed such as monotube, twin-tube, tri-tube and rotary based designs that each incorporates an integrated energy harvesting apparatus. By varying the electrical characteristics on an internal generator, the kinematic characteristics of the energy harvesting apparatus can be dynamically altered. In another mode, the apparatus can be used as an actuator to create linear movement.

Abstract: One heat engine includes a hydro-electric turbine, a steam source configurable to generate steam from a hot water source, a condenser, and a slug intake bend in a first pipe coupled between the steam source and the condenser. The slug intake bend is configurable to receive a slug of water from a cold water source. The steam from the hot water source pushes the slug of water up a vertical distance to the condenser. The condenser is configurable to receive the slug of water and the steam and provide liquid water from the slug of water and steam to power the hydro-electric turbine.
Abstract: An external idle air bypass for carbureted engines having a threaded housing containing a ball valve, which mounts to the outside of the carburetor at a passage which admits air to the intake plenum beneath the carburetor's throttle blades. The threaded housing may be made of metal or other materials. The ball valve may be made from brass and steel, though other materials can be used. A handle is used to operate the ball valve and is retained by a threaded nut. An air cleaner may be attached to the valve housing. Opening and closing the ball valve permits a precisely metered amount of air to enter the engine at idle, enabling the mechanic to vary the amount and air/fuel ratio of the engine without disturbing the throttle blades.
Abstract: A non-polluting, zero hazardous gas emission electricity generating hybrid system is provided with a hydraulic pressure drive cylinder. To one end of the linear movement drive cylinder is connected with a fluid reservoir containing the fluid to be supplied to the drive cylinder. The fluid from the reservoir is pressured through the inlet pipes by the mechanical pump electrically connected to the motor positioned on top of the said fluid reservoir. To the other end of the linear movement drive cylinder is provided an outlet means for collecting the said fluid into the fluid reservoir enabling the linear movement for the hydraulic cylinder.
