Abstract: The pistol comprises a frame (1) containing a barrel (4) slidably mounted. The pistol further comprises a firing mechanism comprising a hammer (11) mounted so that it can pivot at the rear of the pistol, and a trigger (10) secured to an actuating arm (15) that acts on means (19) of arming the hammer (11) and retaining it in the armed position. The means for arming and retaining the hammer (11) comprise a link (19) directly connected to the hammer (11) by an articulation (20) and which is actuated via a lever (40) pivot-mounted in the frame (1). The lever has a top end actuated by the barrel as the latter moves into its forward position in order to cause the lever (40) to pivot, and a bottom end acting like a cam on the link (19) by pushing it backwards in order to rearm the hammer (11).
Abstract: An adjustable gun mount is adapted for use in a motor vehicle and can be adjusted to support different sizes and types of weapons. The gun mount limits the release of a stored weapon to authorized users.
Abstract: New handgun configurations are enabled by a multiple cartridge magazine that includes the firing chamber for each cartridge. A hammer with a pivot pin below and between the leading and trailing edges of a chamber strikes the primer at an acute angle. A sliding trigger mechanism with cupped ball bearings in pockets facilitate sliding motion.
Abstract: A magazine adapter includes a base that is structured to fit within the magazine well of a firearm, and to accept a magazine designed for smaller caliber ammunition than the original firearm. The adapter includes a bolt catch actuator slidably mounted therein. Magazines for which the adapter is intended include an upwardly extending rear projection of the follower, projecting from an opening in the rear of the magazine housing when the follower is in an upper portion of the magazine. When the upwardly extending projection pushes upward on the bolt catch actuator, the bolt catch is actuated, holding the firearms bolt in a rearward position. The magazine adapter thereby facilitates use of the original firearm controls with a caliber conversion unit, or with an upper receiver and barrel combination of a different caliber.
Abstract: A projectile launching device or launcher includes a receiver, a forestock, a trigger mechanism, and a trigger extension cable. The receiver, in one example, includes a valve, a striker, and a bolt, and is able to launch a projectile such as a paintball via pressurized gas. The loading tube is situated on the top of a barrel coupled to the receiver. The trigger guard, in one embodiment, includes a cable channel facilitating a flexible passage for the trigger extension cable. The trigger extension cable passes through the cable channel and provides a flexible linkage between the trigger and a latch wherein the latch is used to release the sear to trigger a launch.
Abstract: An improved paintball marker with electro-pneumatic firing mechanism that employs two separate solenoid valves: a low pressure solenoid valve for bolt actuation and a high pressure solenoid valve for exhaust valve actuation to fire the paintball. The exhaust valve is completely independent of the bolt movement. This eliminates the need for a mechanical ram to strike the exhaust valve. Fewer moving parts and a smaller moving mass reduces recoil and improves reliability and overall operation of the marker. Moreover, the design is more modular and allows for easier disassembly and maintenance.

Abstract: Disclosed is an inflatable article that is designed to be launched to an intended target. The article is launched by a gun in an un-inflated state and inflates upon contacting water. The target can be, for example, a person being rescued. The article is initially stored in an outer layer of material. The outer layer of material may be shrink-wrap or a foam layer. The outer layer permits the article to be retained in a compact configuration prior to being launched. This, in turn, allows the article to be launched over great distances. The outer layer is designed to rupture upon inflation of the article.

Abstract: A gas system for a firearm having a gas block coupled to a barrel with a gas capture port in communication with a barrel gas port. A sleeve removeably mounted inside the gas block has: a gas conduit; a seat near the gas conduit; a projection; and a rod conduit communicating gas through the projection. A rod movably mounted in the gas block has a cup fitting over the projection. A valve has a knob coupleable to the gas block and a plug moveable within the pressure sleeve with a plunger engageable with the seat to adjust gas flow through the gas conduit to the rod conduit. Gas discharged from a fired cartridge flows against the cup to drive the rod to reload the firearm. The plug is moveable by the knob to a plurality of positions to alter the gas conveyed to the rod.

Abstract: A projectile accelerating system that includes a projectile accelerator and/or associated projectile equipment configured to allow an informed user to more effectively engage opponents. The accelerating system includes an automatic and/or automated energy adjustment mechanism and/or method, configured to allow the projectile accelerator to effectively expel a plurality of projectiles at varying energy levels and/or settings. The adjustment mechanism and/or method includes a controller configured to allow the selective selection of energy levels and/or settings falling below an upper energy level or setting.
Abstract: A cleaning apparatus for a cartridge chamber of artillery, including: a rotary member having a power supply part mounted thereinto and a motor rotated by receiving the power from the power supply part; a cleaning member having a rotary body operated cooperatively with the rotation of the motor, slant cleaning parts coupled slantly to the front portion of the outer periphery of the rotary body, and parallel cleaning parts coupled to the rear portion of the outer periphery of the rotary body; and a handle member coupled to the rear portion of the rotary member in such a manner as to be adjusted in length in a telescoping manner, whereby the slant portion and the parallel portion formed on the internal peripheral surface of the cartridge chamber are all cleaned at the same time.
Abstract: A charging handle assembly for an assault rifle includes a bolt engagement arm having an axially elongated shaft extending between a forward end and a rear end, a manual operator adapted to be manipulated by a user for effecting sliding movement of the bolt engagement arm, an operator extension elongated in the axial direction, connecting the manual operator with the rear end of bolt engagement arm and holding the manual operator forwardly thereof and laterally separated from the bolt engagement arm, an engagement latch mounted to the manual operator so as to be movable between an engagement position and an disengagement position, a biasing element extending between the manual operator and the engagement latch and biasing the engagement latch into the engagement position. A latch retainer can be attached to a mounting rail for receiving the engagement latch.
Abstract: Kit-form locking device that may be fitted to a firearm (11), which comprises a trigger (23), included within a firing chain of the firearm, which includes a first, exterior trigger lever (231) that can be actuated by a potential user, and a second, interior trigger part (232) that can be mechanically associated with a manual safety device (22) of the firearm; the locking device comprises a movable locking component (20) adapted for entering into mechanical contact with the second, interior trigger part (232) and with the first, interior part (222) of the manual safety device located in the release position thereof when the locker (20) is in a locking position.
Abstract: A firearm is provided that includes a receiver, a stock, an elongated barrel and a muzzle. The barrel extends from the receiver to the muzzle and has a rectangular internal bore extending from the receiver to the muzzle. The internal bore has two short sides and two long sides. Abstract: An improved bolt and bolt carrier with integral gas key having an extension nozzle threadedly secured and pinned to the gas key for use with a direct gas operated firearm is provided. The extension nozzle is designed to receive a portion of the host firearms gas operating system. The firing pin retaining pin is oriented so as to expose its widest profile to the firing pins annular flange, increasing its service life. The bolt has a plurality of lugs extending from its forward end and an extractor recess. The extractor recess is constructed to accommodate an enlarged extractor claw while not undercutting the bolt lugs adjacent thereto. The extractor engages approximately 57% more of a seated ammunition cartridges rim as compared to some prior art AR15/M16 type extractors used with automatic firearms chambered in 6.8 SPC. The result is an improved bolt and bolt carrier which provides for increased operational reliability.
