Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating WiFi transactions are provided. A consumer device logs in to a merchant's WiFi network and a tab for the consumer is opened up with the merchant. The merchant adds items ordered by the consumer to the tab until the consumer decides to close the tab. The consumer can close the tab by logging off the merchant's WiFi network, pressing a button on a mobile device indicating that he or she wants to settle the tab, or specifying that the tab should be closed after a certain amount of time.

Abstract: A most recently viewed item is displayed in a display element, which is positioned next to at least one other element on a web page. The display element is expanded so that the element covers the at least one other element on the web page and so that at least one other recently viewed item appears in the display element. The display element is contracted so that only the most recently viewed item appears in the display element and so that the at least one other element on the web page is visible.

Abstract: A system architecture of a gift transaction system is disclosed. The gift transaction system can include a buyer interface module, a recipient interface module, a merchant backend interface module, a store front interface module, a curation module, a reminder module, an analytics module, or a media plug-in interface module. A method of operating the gift transaction system under the system architecture includes: providing an embedded widget on a website to determine gift intent to initiate a gift transaction by a buyer account for a recipient account; generating a gift buyer interface for a first client device to personalize a gift package including a gift item; generating a gift recipient interface for a second client device to customize the gift package; and communicating with a merchant backend system to complete the gift transaction to ship the gift package.

Abstract: A method, non-transitory computer readable medium, and apparatus for calculating a transaction quality score of a merchant are disclosed. For example, the method analyzes fraudulent transaction data in a fraudulent transaction data table for each one of a plurality of merchants, calculates a transaction quality score for the each one of the plurality of merchants based on the fraudulent transaction data, filters the plurality of merchants having a respective transaction quality score above a threshold and transmits the plurality of merchants having the respective transaction quality score above the threshold for display.

Abstract: A computerized exchange network makes available on the Internet collected information of items under inspection, such as goods, real estate, or the like. In one aspect, the items and collected information, such as images and videos, are added to a virtual showroom or other virtual inspection site that presents an inventory of such goods, real estate, or the like available from multiple sellers and/or locations. In another aspect, detailed objective information about the items is provided. In another aspect, a data structure includes desired criteria for a desired item and provides an alert when an item of interest matches the desired criteria.

Abstract: A pickup location that includes a control station and one or more storage compartment modules provides the ability for items to be ordered and delivered for pickup by a user without having to pack those items in a shipping package prior to shipping from a materials handling facility. Delivering items for pickup by a user without having to package the items prior to shipping, may provide a better experience for the customer, reduce waste in packaging material and a lower cost of delivering the ordered items to the customer.

Abstract: Embodiments are provided for enhancing an in-store experience for a user of an electronic device. According to certain aspects, the electronic device initiates an in-store mode of an application when the electronic device is located within a retail store, where the in-store mode may enable certain functionalities having certain capabilities. The electronic device may detect when it connects to a network within the retail store and, in response, may indicate enhanced capabilities of the functionalities. The user may select an enhanced capability, and the electronic device may facilitate the associated functionality.

Abstract: Techniques for extracting unstructured quantitative data may be provided. For example, a process may attempt to extract unstructured quantitative data to form structured data. This quantitative data may be used for searchable ordering of items in an electronic marketplace. For example, a process may attempt to find common attributes amongst several item descriptions. The common attributes may be recognized in the unstructured data, stored as structured data, and incorporated with a network page to allow the user to search for a particular item with a particular attribute. The desired attribute can help narrow a set of results from a search query.

Abstract: Described is a system and method for presenting item information to a user based on the activities of the user. In one example, when a user picks an item from an inventory location, the item is identified, and a representation of the item, and optionally additional item information, is presented to the user as a confirmation that the item was properly identified. If the user adds the item to a tote associated with the user, an item identifier associated with the item is added to an item identifier list associated with the user. Likewise, an item identifier list representation, which provides information about all items identified on the item identifier list may be presented to the user as confirmation that the correct item has been added to the user item identifier list associated with the user.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for securely analyzing transaction data of a user. A server computing device establishes a secure connection with a client device, which transmits transaction data to the server. The server establishes a hierarchy of nodes to profile a user's purchase history. The hierarchy includes a plurality of article nodes and category nodes. The server creates a new article node instance corresponding to the transaction data, the new article node storing descriptive properties of at least one item purchased by the user determined from the transaction data. The server links the new article node instance to at least one of the category nodes by classifying the descriptive properties of the item purchased with respect to relationships defined by the hierarchy. The server generates and transmits an event trigger to remind the user of a follow-up action and authenticates the client before the trigger is delivered.

Abstract: Disclosed is an approach for enabling a user to choose from multiple payment options using a browser API. The method includes determining whether a user interfacing with a site via a browser can make a payment via a first browser payment request application programming interface or a second browser payment request application programming interface. The method includes presenting a dynamically modified buy button that is associated with the selected browser or a user payment account enabled via the selected browser and transmitting, in connection with an interaction with the dynamically modified buy button, a payment request to the selected browser and via the selected browser payment request application programming interface. The user can make the payment using the account type they are using.

Abstract: A system and method for order fulfillment includes receiving an order for a plurality of items, initiating collection of the plurality of items for the order, detecting presence of a user at a selected one of a plurality of delivery locations when the plurality of items are ready for delivery, and initiating delivery of the items to the user at the selected delivery location.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for displaying item information relative to selection regions of an item image. An image of an item is rendered upon a display of a client. The image is divided into multiple selection regions. The selection regions may be determined by the client dynamically. A selection of a first point upon the image of the item is received. Additional information related to the item is requested from a server based at least in part on the selection of the first point. The additional information is mapped to the first point by way of an association with a second point upon the image. The additional information related to the item is rendered upon the display.

Abstract: A system and a method are provided for assembling, and publishing, a persistent cart of products online. The cart can have products from a single vendor or a variety of different vendors. When the cart is published, various deals, discounts, and incentives can be offered. An individual who created the cart can be rewarded. A computer readable non-transitory storage medium stores instructions of a computer program that when executed facilitates creation of the cart of items to be purchased and selects the individual or group of individuals to whom the cart is published. The purchasing of a cart does not eliminate the availability of the cart for subsequent users.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for managing a group gift using a system in which a recipient (purchaser of the group gift) and givers have registered payment accounts with the system. The system displays, on a graphical user interface, at least the giver and the recipient to yield a proposed transfer configuration at a first time. A gift or a merchant can also be identified in the interface. Upon receiving a confirmation from at least one of the giver and the receiver of the proposed transfer configuration, the system establishes a money transfer policy that indicates that, upon detecting a qualifying purchase made using the recipient payment account, at least a portion of a transfer amount is applied to the recipient payment account from at least one giver account. The system simplifies the process of a group of people joining together to buy a gift.

Abstract: Aspects and examples are disclosed for facilitating and signaling market transactions between providers of products or services and clients that consume or otherwise use the products and services. In one example, a processing device of a server system receives, via a data network, data from a computing system describing attributes of a client that uses the computing system. The processing device can verify at least some of the received data to generate a client profile for the client. Based on verifying the data in the client profile, the processing device can notify one or more providers of a product or service that the client is interested in the product or service. Notifications to providers of the product or service can maintain the anonymity of the client. Notifications to the providers can also identify a client type, the client's propensity to purchase or access certain products or services, etc.

Abstract: This disclosure describes, generally, methods and systems for exchanging alternative currencies. The method includes creating, at an alternative currency platform, a plurality of user accounts and receiving, from a first user in the plurality of user accounts, an alternative currency exchange offer. The alternative currency exchange offer includes one or more offer terms and associated assets. Furthermore, the method includes extending the alternative currency exchange offer from the first user to the second user, in response to receiving acceptance of the offer from the second user, verifying the associated assets of the first user and the second user, and in response to verification of the assets of the first user and second user, providing settlement of the alternative currency exchange offer.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for providing consolidated order management are presented. In some embodiments, a computer system may receive, via a communication interface, and from a first organization user computing device, a first request for a first order user interface. Based on receiving the first request for the first order user interface from the first organization user computing device, the computer system may load first interface information from a consolidated order management database. Subsequently, the computer system may generate a first order interface based on the first interface information loaded from the consolidated order management database. Then, the computer system may send, via the communication interface, and to the first organization user computing device, the first order interface generated based on the first interface information loaded from the consolidated order management database.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed toward systems and methods for identifying sold indicators within for-sale groups hosted by a social networking system. For example, systems and methods described herein identify information and social networking activities associated with a sale listing to determine whether an item advertised by the sale listing has been sold. Furthermore, systems and methods can prompt a seller associated with the sale listing to take action with regard to the sale listing in response to a determination that the item advertised by the sale listing has been sold.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes monitoring an action of an individual or a certain consumer and maintaining a database stored in a memory personal to the consumer. The database can have an indication of preferences of the consumer and a purchase history of the individual consumer. The database can be based on the monitored action of the consumer. The method can further include providing a suggested product to the consumer based on the maintained database.
