  • Patent number: 10767950
Abstract: Firearm trigger mechanisms with rotatable linkage members and associated systems and methods are disclosed herein. A firearm trigger assembly configured in accordance with embodiments of the present technology can include, for example, a trigger, first and second linkage members, and a sear. The first linkage member, second linkage member, and sear are arranged in an over-center configuration that securely locks the sear in a first position. Pulling on the trigger causes the trigger to rotate about a fixed pivot point and push on one of the two linkage members, forcing the linkage members and the sear out of the over-center configuration. The force from a striking mechanism forces the sear and the linkage members into a collapsed configuration, releasing the striking mechanism and firing the firearm. This two toggle configuration of the trigger assembly provides crisp and reliable release of the firearm.

  • Patent number: 10760860
Abstract: A firearm includes a frame assembly, a slide assembly releasably and slidably coupled to the frame assembly, a bolt assembly including a leading surface, a firing pin, and an adjuster. The adjuster includes a body and an extension. The body defines a first bore, defines a leading surface, and has a thickness. The leading surface is configured to interface with a rear portion of a cartridge, and the body spaces the leading surface from the leading surface of the bolt assembly. The extension couples the body to the bolt assembly and defines a second bore that shares a common central axis with the first bore. The first bore and the second bore receive the firing pin such that the firing pin at least selectively protrudes from the leading surface of the adjuster to engage the cartridge.

  • Patent number: 10739100
Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and apparatus for a bipod having pivot and cant functionality built into a unified cant/pivot assembly, housing, and pivot block. Rotation of a locking knob under the housing can gradually increase or decrease friction of the cant and pivoting degrees of freedom. The legs can be stowed approximately 90° rotation from a deployed position, and locking and releasing of this rotation is made possible via depression of a button that also acts as a locking detent that directly interacts with and locks or releases the legs for rotation. In the stowed position, the button can be backdriven and thus the legs can be deployed without depressing the button. A pivot block can also be raised and rotated 180° to lock in a given pivot setting.

Abstract: An explosive separation joint system having an expandable tube containing a mild detonating fuse (MDF) in separable portions of the joint. The MDF extends into a detonation manifold at a first port, an end of the MDF having booster bonded thereto. An external initiating ordnance transfer line enters the manifold at an initiating ordnance (IO) port, has an IO end tip and provides a detonation impulse train where each detonating component is axially aligned within a passageway with the next detonating component. In embodiments, particular detonating components of the detonation train are fixed in place where other detonating components are movable. Each detonating component that is not in direct contact with a preceding detonating component in the detonation train is in direct linear access.
