  • Patent number: 11246778
Abstract: A bed apparatus includes: a mattress mounted on a bed body; and, first cells arranged on both left and right sides in a longitudinal direction of the bed body and is configured to change the body position of a patient on the mattress by inflating the first cells alternately. When the first cells on the left and right sides are inflated, and when a difference in pressure between the first cells on the left and right sides has continuously fallen within a decision pressure value range for a decision pressure value continuation time, the body position of the patient is changed, whereas when the difference has not continuously fallen within the pressure value range for the continuation time or when the difference has continuously fallen out of the pressure value range for the continuation time, change of the body position of the patient will not be performed.

  • Patent number: 11246785
Abstract: A foot pillow designed to be used by an individual with plantar fasciitis and suffers from severe foot pain when the individual attempts to stand or walk after resting horizontally. The pillow is a square or rectangular structure with a flat bottom and a dome or conical-shaped top surface. The pillow is made of elastic foam sufficient size, thickness and compression rating to support the user's arch when standing on the pillow's center axis. Because the pillow is domed or conical shape, the pillow has less arch support near its perimeter edge. During use, the user stands in place and repeatedly lifts and press both feet into the top surface near the pillow's center axis. Over a few minutes, the user lifts his feet and gradually moves them outward towards the perimeter edge thereby enabling the plantar fascia on each foot to gradually stretch before being fully extended when standing or walking.

  • Patent number: 11246764
Abstract: A low-elastic compression garment includes a central main portion and multiple straps that extend laterally from the central main portion. Notches may be provided where the straps meet the central main portion, and may be formed into the central main portion adjacent to respective straps. With the notches, when the compression garment is in a wrapped position, lateral edges of adjacent straps that are associated with the notches overlap without gaps or bunching of the strap material. The compression garment may include distal and proximal counter pull tabs that extend from opposite edges of the central main portion. When the distal and proximal counter pull tabs are pulled by the user, pulling forces are transmitted in opposing directions to tension the straps. A removable fastening tab is provided respectively at ends of each of the straps.

  • Patent number: 11135048
Abstract: An urethral compression apparatus is defined by a semi-cylindrical fenestrated dorsal hood that is worn dorsally on the penis and which is interconnected with a strap to a urethral compressor that is oriented ventrally to apply compressive pressure on the urethra to prevent urine leakage. The dorsal hood and the urethral compressor apply distributed pressure that prevents compromised venous and arterial circulation but eliminate incontinence. The device may be worn continually and is easily removed to allow voiding, then reattached. The fenestration in the dorsal hood (or plural fenestrations as the case may be) allows distribution of pressure to avoid venous and arterial blood flow interruption. The dorsal hood partially encircles the penile shaft and the urethral compressor is oriented ventrally and applies the desired pressure to the soft ventral tissues and the urethra.
