  • Patent number: 10922559
Abstract: An imaging system adjusts a display of images obtained of an area to compensate for one or more relationships of cameras on a vehicle relative to a peripheral area. The system comprises a processor, an image obtaining unit, a non-transient memory, a situational compensation unit, and a display unit. The image obtaining unit receives first image data representative of a first image, and the memory stores intrinsic image coordinate transformation data representative of an intrinsic mapping between the first image data and first display data representative of an uncompensated bird's eye view image of the peripheral area of the associated vehicle. The situational compensation selectively modifies the intrinsic mapping as an adjusted intrinsic mapping between the first image data and the first display data in accordance with a signal representative of the one or more relationships of the associated vehicle relative to the peripheral area.

  • Patent number: 10778983
Abstract: For each content-mapped frame of a scene, it is determined whether the content mapped frame is susceptible to object fragmentation with respect to texture in a homogeneous region based on statistical values derived from the content-mapped image and a source image mapped into the content-mapped image. The homogeneous region is a region of consistent texture in the source image. Based on a count of content-mapped frames susceptible to object fragmentation in homogeneous region, it is determined whether the scene is susceptible to object fragmentation in homogeneous region. If so, an upper limit for mapped codewords for a prediction function for predicting codewords of a predicted image from the mapped codewords in the content-mapped image is adjusted. Mapped codewords above the upper limit are clipped to the upper limit.

  • Patent number: 10651956
Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable directional antenna which is equipped with a camera which is integrated into the housing of the directional antenna. In addition to the conventional documentation of the position-finding information, this integrated, installed camera makes it possible, by means of the directional antenna function, to also optically document the surroundings of the interference source with a variable level of detail, for example by way long-range or short-range capture. By way of the optical additional information thus obtained, the present invention provides a simple, but nonetheless very effective, enhanced documentation option for interference sources and the surroundings thereof. Thus, during the search for radio-frequency interferences, no separate camera for capturing image information has to be brought along, and this increases the comfort for a user.
