Abstract: Methods and apparatus to facilitate matching of names for same media content are disclosed. Example methods include analyzing first data associated with first media content and, when a program name/identifier and/or episode name/identifier is not identified in the first data, supplementing the data with second data to form third data and processing the third data with respect to fourth data associated with second media content and calculating a composite match score including a program match score and an episode match score based on processing the third data with respect to the fourth data. When the first media content is determined to match the second media content based on the processing of the third data with respect to the fourth data and a comparison of the composite match score to a threshold is satisfied, a normalized media name is generated for the first media content and the second media content.

Abstract: A user query, such as a user query processed by the online game system, is provided as input into a trained machine learning model. The machine learning model predicts candidate languages of the user query and outputs language confidence scores for the candidate languages. The user query is also matched with stored query data associated with game information in individual language databases for the respective candidate languages. A match scores may be determined based on a certainty of the respective response matches. The match scores and the language confidence scores may be weighted to determine a weighted score. The weighted scores of the response matches are applied to decide which game information retrieved from the identified database is used in forming a response of search results to the user.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for matching electronic activities with record objects based on entity relationships. The method can include accessing a plurality of electronic activities, identifying an electronic activity, identifying a first participant associated with a first entity and a second participant associated with a second entity, determining whether a record object identifier is included in the electronic activity, identifying a first record object of the system of record that includes an instance of the record object identifier, and storing an association between the electronic activity and the first record object. The method can include determining a second record object corresponding to the second entity, identifying, using a matching policy, a third record object linked to the second record object and identifying a third entity, and storing, by the one or more processors, an association between the electronic activity and the third record object.

Abstract: A system and a method for determining user synonyms in a query processing system is disclosed. A first query is received from a user of the query processing system. The query is processed through the query processing system to generate results for the first query. The user then provides a second query. The system determines a contextual similarity between the first query and the second query. When the first query and the second query are determined to be contextually similar, a first term is identified in the first query that is different from a second term in the second query. Once identified, the system determines if the first term and the second term are not listed as synonyms in the thesaurus. If they are not listed as synonyms they can be added as synonyms to the thesaurus.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, one or more consistent states of a virtual machine (VM) are backed up and stored. An index library is used to extract, from the consistent state(s) of the VM, metadata corresponding to content files captured in the consistent state(s). The extracted metadata is stored into a metadata catalog, where the metadata catalog is subsequently downloaded by an index server to index the content files captured in the consistent state(s).

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for generating abstractive summary. The method comprises receiving a query for generating an abstractive summary from a document and splitting the query into one or more lexical units. Further, a semantic graph and a graph index is generated based on a role assigned to the one or more lexical units. Furthermore, a measure of information is determined for the retrieved one or more sentences. The one or more sentences having a semantic graph analogous to the generated semantic graph of the query are retrieved from the document. Finally, at least one of re-ordering and re-phrasing is performed on at least one of the retrieved one or more sentences based on the computed measure of information and the one or more lexical units in the retrieved one or more sentences to generate the abstractive summary.

Abstract: An operations server synchronizes updates to a cloud-based shared versioned file system. The shared versioned file system includes directories and sub-directories that are divided into shards. The operations server coordinates requests from local filer servers, each running a respective local version of the shared versioned file system, to update a shard in the cloud-based shared versioned file system. The operations server can provide a global lock on the shard to a local filer server before it updates the shard in the cloud-based shared versioned file system. Preferably, shards are sized dynamically based on the number of entries in the directories associated therewith.

Abstract: In an SDN environment, data is migrated after checking whether the data conforms to a legal system of a migration destination. A control device changes a communication setting between first and second servers based on migration destination information and migration source information received from the first server and SDN setting data on a communication setting of the SDN stored in advance. The first server receives data on the legal system and determines whether the data conforms to the legal system to thereby determine whether the data can be migrated, or not. The control device executes a change in the communication setting when it is determined that the migration is enabled from the first server. The first server transmits data stored in a first storage unit to the second server according to the changed communication setting and the data is stored in a second storage unit.

Abstract: Methods and systems for improving data back-up, recovery, and search across different cloud-based applications, services, and platforms are described. A data management and storage system may direct compute and storage resources within a customer's cloud-based data storage account to back-up and restore data while the customer retains full control of their data. The data management and storage system may direct the compute and storage resources within the customer's cloud-based data storage account to generate and store secondary layers that are used for generating search indexes, to generate and store shared space layers and user specific layers to facilitate the deduplication of email attachments and text blocks, to perform a controlled restoration of email snapshots such that sensitive information (e.g., restricted keywords) located within stored snapshots remains protected, and to detect and preserve emails that were received or transmitted and then deleted between two consecutive snapshots.

Abstract: An aspect of performing rollback of a snapshot between a source storage system and a target storage system in a synchronous replication session includes reassigning a current replication source volume to a rollback source snapshot. The rollback source snapshot is generated for a consistency group that includes a plurality of volumes. An aspect also includes performing, for one or more snapshot trees maintained for the consistency group, a differential scan between a child of the rollback source snapshot and the current replication source volume, and calculating, from results of the differential scan, a dirty tree differential. For each difference identified in the dirty tree differential, an aspect further includes calculating a corresponding volume offset, and initiating a copy command for the current replication source volume and the rollback source snapshot. The copy command is translated to a remote metadata copy request in synchronous replication data transfer.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer-usable medium are disclosed for processing a search query that includes context based exclusion criteria. A search query is analyzed as to a subject, topic, noun phrase and query intent. Negative exclusion context and emphasis of the search query are determined with a filter word list to refine the query intent. A knowledge graph is created based on the search query. A set of branches of the knowledge graph is determined from which information is retrieved. Negative intent branches are identified based on the exclusion context and pruning is performed on the negative intent branches from the knowledge graph.

Abstract: Incremental update of a neighbor graph via an orthogonal transform based indexing is disclosed. One example is a system including a hash transform module to apply an orthogonal transform to a data object in a data stream, and to associate the data object with a collection of ordered hash positions. An indexing module retrieves an index of ordered key positions, where each key position is indicative of data objects in the data stream that have a hash position at the key position. A neighbor determination module determines a ranked collection of neighbors for the data object in a neighbor graph, where the ranking is based on the index. A graph update module incrementally updates the neighbor graph by including the data object as a neighbor for a selected sub-plurality of data objects in the ranked collection.

Abstract: A method, system, apparatus, and a computer program product are provided for optimizing database query plans generated from a received database query at a database management system by monitoring a global cost estimation function for one or more steps of the received database query to identify a first low-performing cost metric and collaboratively optimizing a query plan for the database query by comparing differences between the first low-performing cost metric and a second cost metric at an additional database management system, thereby generating an optimized query plan for the database management system that may be stored at the database management system along with corresponding information identifying a reason for rewriting the optimized query plan.
