Abstract: Various aspects of the subject technology relate to systems, methods, and machine-readable media for investigating an insurance claim. A system may be configured to perform operations including establishing a video conferencing session with a mobile device associated with an insurance product and providing a user interface configured to provide a claims adjuster with remote control of a set of functions on the mobile device associated with the insurance product during the video conferencing session. The operations further include receiving, via the user interface, instructions for requesting the mobile device to perform at least one function in the set of functions on the mobile device and transmitting, to the mobile device, a request to perform the at least one function on the mobile device.

Abstract: Disclosed are exemplary embodiments of systems and methods for analyzing declined payment account transactions. In an exemplary embodiment, a method generally includes accessing, by a computing device, a declined transaction associated with a payment account, and applying, by the computing device, at least one rule to transaction data associated with the payment account and/or transaction data associated with a merchant involved in the declined transaction. The method also includes, based on the at least one applied rule, appending, by the computing device, a fraud accuracy tag to the declined transaction in a data structure, where the fraud accuracy tag is indicative of whether the decline of the transaction is a true positive decline or a false positive decline, whereby the fraud accuracy tag is suitable to provide insight into accuracy of a fraud strategy implemented in connection with the declined transaction.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a transaction authorization from a funds facilitation system for a transaction requested by a user to a merchant system such that the user is not required to input any user authentication information in excess of authentication information required by the merchant system are provided. A system and method can include receiving a transaction request from the merchant system containing a merchant ID, a merchant user ID, and a transaction amount. The system identifies a funds facilitation system user ID based on the merchant ID and the merchant user ID and determines satisfaction of a funds facilitation system user authentication requirement based on the merchant system having a trusted status with the funds facilitation system. A transaction authorization message or transaction denial message is provided to the merchant system based on account information associated with the user and the transaction amount.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for providing user interaction data associated with a property is presented. A plurality of dimensions associated with a portion of the property may be determined. Image data associated with the portion of the property may be determined using an image sensor. The plurality of dimensions associated with the portion of the property may be associated with the image data associated with the portion of the property to generate the user interaction data associated with the property. The user interaction data may be provided via a user interface. The user interaction data may allow a user of the user interface to view at least one image of the portion of the property. The at least one image may be based on the plurality of dimensions associated with the portion of the property and the image data associated with the portion of the property.

Abstract: Methods and systems described in this disclosure are directed to providing a plurality of grammatical components of a computer language for representing financial events of a user, receiving first financial information pertaining to the user from a first computing device, the first financial information defined using a first grammatical component in the plurality of grammatical components of the computer language; receiving second financial information pertaining to the user from a second computing device, the second financial information defined using a second grammatical component in the plurality of grammatical components of the computer language; and extracting the first financial information from the first grammatical component and the second financial information from the second grammatical component by parsing the first grammatical component and the second grammatical component.

Abstract: In a computer-implemented method for facilitating handling, by a user of a computing device, of a call from an insurance customer regarding a loss event, an interactive search display may be provided. A set of one or more search terms entered by the user may be used to perform a search of one or more databases storing policy information. A set of results and an interactive control may be presented to the user. The results may include an entry for a first person. A particular relationship between the first person and the loss event, specified by the user via the interactive control, and information associated with the first person, may be used to cause loss report information to be automatically added to one or more loss reporting fields. The loss report information may be caused to be stored in a claims database as a part of a loss report record.

Abstract: In a computer-implemented method for facilitating handling, by a user of a computing device having one or more display screens and an input device, of a call from an insurance customer regarding a loss event, one or more notes fields in which text may be entered by the user are presented to the user, text that the user entered in at least one of the one or more notes fields is received, the received text is analyzed to identify one or more keywords having potential relevance to the loss event, the identified keyword(s) is/are used to cause loss report information to be automatically added to one or more loss reporting fields provided by a loss reporting tool, and the loss report information is caused to be stored in a claims database as a part of a loss report record associated with the loss event.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed in this specification include uploading instructions to a voice-recognition server, such that when the voice-recognition server identifies keywords in an audio stream, the voice recognition server can perform a payment transaction using a payment-service-system server. The systems and methods disclosed can receive payment requests at the payment-service-system server, which can then process the payment transaction using historical payment information and contact information associated with the payment-service-system user. The payment-service-system server can communicate notifications and confirmations to the voice-recognition server or to separate user computing devices. In this way, the payment-service-system server can process payment transactions between users using voice-controlled speakers.

Abstract: A network generation system is configured to generate a private computerized network in response to detection by the system of the occurrence of an event. A mobile device application installed on an entity mobile device is configured to receive and transmit event data and GPS-based location data. A network server is configured to receive the event data and the GPS-based location data. A computer server based processing platform is configured to proactively extract resource provider data corresponding to resource providers based upon event data, entity data, event location data, and at least one resource data API. The computerized private network is generated and separate interfaces are generated for the entity, an event processor, and at least one resource provider.

Abstract: A method and system for network-based distribution of content are disclosed. The distribution of content is not only secure but also controlled. The security restricts access to content within media files during downloads as well as while stored at a server or client. In one embodiment, each media file is encrypted with a different, randomly generated key. The control over the distribution of the media file can serve to limit the subsequent distribution of media files from clients to other clients. In another embodiment, the control can permit media files to be shared on a limited number of different clients affiliated with the same user. The clients can vary with application but generally are computing devices that have memory storage. Often, the clients are personal computers or other computing devices that are capable of storing and presenting content to their users.

Abstract: A self-authenticating credit card includes an input device for entering a PIN. The PIN is accepted by a micro-controller that uses the entered PIN as an encryption key for decrypting stored account information. A portion of the account information includes data, that when decrypted, contains an image that is rendered on an integral display, with account information sent to a transaction terminal. A timer is used to limit access to account data while in the unlocked state.

Abstract: In a method of placing a security trade order using a trading algorithm in a computerized trading system, candidate order characteristics of a candidate order are received through a first GUI, and current market characteristics are obtained. Performance and fill rate scores are forecasted for executions of the candidate order by each of a plurality of trading algorithms using a ranking model based on historical data for a plurality of orders previously-executed via one or more of the plurality of trading algorithms, the candidate order characteristics and the current market characteristics. Each of the plurality of trading algorithms are ranked for the candidate order. A highest ranked trading algorithm is selected and is displayed on a second GUI. A selection of one of the displayed highest ranked trading algorithm is received from a user, and the candidate order is placed using the selected trading algorithm.

Abstract: A system performs processing of biometric information to create multiple templates. This allows biometric systems to be flexible and interact with a plurality of vendors' technologies. Specifically, a biometric sample is captured from a sensor and transmitted to a processing component. The biometric sample is then processed by a first algorithm to yield a biometric template and the template is stored and associated with a record identifier. The biometric sample is also processed by a second algorithm to yield a second template. The second template is stored and associated with the record identifier.

Abstract: Systems and methods for fair-sharing in bandwidth sharing ad-hoc networks. A method includes maintaining a borrower account and lender account of a borrower and a lender of an ad hoc network. The method also includes adjusting at least one of the borrower account and the lender account based upon data transfer by the lender for the borrower.

Abstract: To ensure that digital rights cannot be forged or tampered with, they can be digitally signed. However, this means that updating the digital rights is no longer possible, as this would invalidate the digital signature. The present invention proposes that the issuer of digital rights issues rights which are signed in elementary pieces, rather than as a whole. Rather than issuing a right to play back a piece of content three times, the provider issues for example three rights to play back the content once in a particular AD, of which two may be transferred to other domains. The digital rights are individually protected by signatures and it is no longer possible to forge digital rights. As an enhancement the rights that can be transferred are indicated as such and stored securely to prevent tampering. When the right is transferred, it must be signed by the person who originally received it.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for managing registrations of computers. The methods and systems provide a registration tool that may be used to automatically register the computers. For each computer to be registered, information uniquely identifying the computer is collected and sent to a remote registration server. The information is then used by the remote registration server to perform the registration on behalf of the computer. The registration may be with a software vendor, a third-party database, or with the remote registration server itself in some cases. The registration server thereafter returns a registration code or other information to the computer to complete the registration. Such an arrangement allows the registration process to be controlled from a central location.

Abstract: There is provided systems and method for unified payment account establishment and incorporation in a main payment account. A service provider, such as a payment provider, may offer merchants with a development kit that unifies payment methods between various merchants and the service provider so that users are provided with more easily established payment accounts with the merchants. The development kit may include an account establishment interface that may be utilized in a merchant ordering and payment application for a merchant. The interface may provide for establishment of a payment account with the merchant. When initially establishing the payment account, the user may generate a provisional account, which may be synchronized to a payment account the user has with the service provider. When synchronizing the two accounts, the user may transfer information to the merchant, which may be redacted to prevent the merchant from receiving sensitive information.

Abstract: In general, in one aspect, an installation file digitally signed with a first package signature is received. It is determined whether the received installation file includes a migration signature that covers the first package signature and that matches a second signature associated with an installed software application, to confirm that the received installation file includes a valid update related to the installed software application. The installed software application is updated from the received installation file when the migration signature is included.

Abstract: Described herein is a platform and method for generating a terminal location from transaction data. In some embodiments, location data is periodically provided to a service computer from multiple mobile devices. Additionally, transaction data related to terminals may be provided to the service provider by one or more entities. The service provider may be configured to match records in the received transaction data to records in the received location data to identify a set of potential terminal locations. In some embodiments, the set of potential terminal locations may be filtered according to one or more criteria. A terminal location may subsequently be approximated from the set of potential terminal locations.

Abstract: Systems and methods for tracking, predicting, and mitigating Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) attacks in a network include detecting, from monitoring, events related to one or more subscribed entities, wherein the monitoring includes two or more of analyzing traffic flow, analyzing virtual currency transactions, and monitoring information related to the one or more subscribed entities on the Internet; analyzing the events to determine a likelihood of an attack on a specific subscribed entity of the one or more subscribed entities; and causing mitigation of the attack based on the determined likelihood, wherein the mitigation comprises one or more actions in the network relative to the specific subscribed entity.
