  • Patent number: 10699231
Abstract: A graphical workflow definition and management tool enables administrators and other authorized users to implement a workflow process that can be used to evaluate project submissions or other applications that require step-by-step process completion. The steps required to navigate through the workflow are first defined. Inputs, outputs, and actions, including conditional criteria, can be specified for the steps. The flow of control between the individual steps in the workflow is mapped out; changes to the status of a project submission can cause a submission to migrate to a succeeding step in the workflow. A “sandbox” testing environment allows changes to any aspect of the workflow to be safely evaluated without affecting live data. Conflicts between production and test workflows are identified and intelligently resolved.

  • Patent number: 10699278
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for monitoring battery usage information. In an embodiment, battery usage data is received from a battery energy storage system comprising a battery pack. The battery usage data may include battery identification information, one or more battery sensor measurements for a period of time, and a cumulative warranty value for the battery pack. A project to which the battery pack belongs may then be determined based on the received battery identification information. Finally, the battery usage data may be stored in a warranty database. The warranty database may store battery usage data for a plurality of battery packs. The warranty database may further be partitioned by project, and the battery usage data for is stored in a partition of the warranty database for the determined project.

  • Patent number: 10592830
Abstract: According to embodiments illustrated herein, a method and a system is provided for screening candidates for job opportunities. The method includes grouping the candidates into batches based on predetermined time duration, a count of the candidates, and a chronology of receiving job applications from the candidates. Each batch comprises a first set of candidates. Thereafter, a sliding window is moved over the batches, to encompass a set of batches at a first time instance. A second set of candidates is identified from the first set of candidates in a batch from the set of batches based on a score assigned to each of the first set of candidates during an interview. Further, a candidate is selected from the second set of candidates obtained from a first batch, encompassed by the sliding window at a second time instance before the first time instance.

  • Patent number: 10453026
Abstract: A system and method for grouping units for forecasting purposes is presented. A sales forecast for a set of stock keeping units (SKUs) is desired. The SKUs are separated into clusters based on the similarity of the SKUs. Then a set of Bayesian multivariate dynamic linear models is chosen to be used to calculate a sales forecast for each of the clusters of SKUs. The accuracy of each dynamic linear model is determined in a training procedure and a set of weights for each dynamic linear model is calculated. Thereafter, the weights can be used with the dynamic linear models to create a weighted average forecast model. The training procedure can be run periodically to maintain the accuracy of the weights. Each procedure can operate on a sliding window of data. Other embodiments are also disclosed herein.

  • Patent number: 10410225
Abstract: Systems, apparatus, and methods for determining unique contacts from a collection or pool of merchant data are discussed herein. Some embodiments may provide for an apparatus including circuitry configured to determine programmatic match results indicating whether different instances of merchant data match (e.g., describe the same contact). The circuitry may further determine probabilities of precision or recall errors with the programmatic match results. Programmatic match results having a high probability of error may be annotated by a user to generate user match results. The user match results may be used to generate a more reliable contacts database including unique contacts, as well as to train and/or update the match scoring algorithm. As such, the accuracy of machine-implemented binary classification is improved.

  • Patent number: 10373181
Abstract: Approaches presented herein enable evaluating and displaying feedback for an item distributed to a group of users, e.g., at a collaborative event. Specifically, at least one approach includes receiving the item (e.g., a topic, idea, product) from a first user, and distributing the item to the group of users, wherein the group of users is located within an identified geographic proximity to the first user. An assigned value (e.g., demand quantified though buy/sell data) is then received for the item from one or more users of the group of users, and displayed to the first user via a mobile device, along with a real-time location of each user of the group of users. In one approach, each user's mobile device displays a geographic distance from other users at the collaborative event.
