  • Patent number: 10602241
Abstract: The present invention discloses numerous implementations for IP-based call processing systems that can selectively control an outgoing call initiated by a source device to a destination device. The call processing system causes a Service Switching Point (SSP) associated with the source device to initiate a media connection between the IP-based call processing system and the source device. The call processing system further causes initiation of a call feature for the outgoing call using the media connection with the source device. The call feature may include a call restriction feature, a call feature for conveying an audio element to the source device, a call record feature and a call feature for conveying information to the source device. The call processing system further causes establishment of a media connection between the source and the destination devices.

  • Patent number: 10581655
Abstract: A computing device operating according to a frequency division multiplexed protocol in which communication occurs over a signal formed from a plurality of sub-channels selected from anywhere in a frequency spectrum. A computing device may select sub-channels cognitively by using information about sub-channels previously deemed suitable or unsuitable by that computing device or other computing devices. A described technique for determining sub-channel suitability includes analyzing radio frequency energy in the sub-channel to detect signals generated by another computing device or high noise levels. Information may also be used to cognitively select sub-channels to be analyzed, such as by first selecting for analysis previously-used sub-channels.

  • Patent number: 10574755
Abstract: The present subject matter relates generally to optimization of distribution of data packets in a High Performance Computing (HPC) switch. The HPC switch receives data packets from controllers communicatively connected to HPC switch, through interconnected Queue Pair (QP) lanes and assigns a destination virtual lane (VL) for each data packet based on service level information. Further, the HPC switch generates plurality of clusters of ports that are coupled with each interconnected VL based on latency determined dynamically for each port. Finally, the HPC switch transmits a first group of data packets through ports belonging to a primary cluster of plurality of clusters and transmits acknowledgement key-packet associated with second group of data packets through the ports belonging to secondary clusters of plurality of clusters, based on destination VL assigned for each data packet to other controllers for optimizing the distribution of the plurality of data packets in the HPC switch.

  • Patent number: 10405267
Abstract: Cell detection information, such as cell identity, frequency, dormant/active mode, etc. may be determined. This cell detection information may be reported based on properties of a received Auxiliary Synchronization Signal (AuSS) or discovery signal. The received signal may be processed as a function of its timing, for example, with respect to timing of a serving cell. A WTRU may obtain cell detection information for a neighbor cell. A cell may also be detected by surrounding WTRUs. A WTRU may determine timing of cell reactivation from a detected property of the AuSS or discovery signal. A WTRU may trigger an RRC procedure upon selecting a dormant but temporarily reactivated cell. An eNB may transmit AuSS for a dormant cell based on detection of signals received from neighbor cells. Quasi-colocation (QCL) demodulation may be performed based on the detected signal. The on/off state of a cell may be indicated.
