  • Patent number: 6505798
Abstract: A circular-plate holder is disposed at an end of a cylindrical portion arranged in a tripod head. A pair of arc lever tumblers, which is capable of contacting the inner surface of the cylindrical portion, is rotatably supported on the holder around a rotation axis. The ends of the arc lever tumblers are close to each other. A rotator, which has a gear portion at a tip end, is rotatably supported on the holder around a rotation axis disposed between the other ends of the lever tumblers. Each of the tumblers is connected to the rotator by a pair of linkage means. The gear portion of the rotator engages a gear portion of a torque-adjusting shaft, which extends through a central portion of the holder and rotates according to rotational operation of an adjusting knob.

  • Patent number: 6499706
Abstract: The present invention is an emplacement stand for holding explosive ordnance disposal tools that comprises a support base having tapered pegs evenly spaced around the outside of the support base extending outward at a downward angle. Detachable legs may be attached to the tapered pegs or each other to increase the height of the support base. A pivot arm slides through a hollow bearing ring within the support base and a set screw connector locks the pivot arm into a specific desired position after moving the pivot arm up or down within the support base. A pivot base, having a tool cradle connected to a disc shaped surface attaches to a clevis slot within the pivot arm through a pin that allows the disc shaped surface to freely pivot about the pin within the slot. A second set screw connector locks the disc shaped surface into place within the clevis slot.

  • Patent number: 6460817
Abstract: A holder for a central processing unit (CPU) is disclosed which includes an adjustable perimeter support frame attachable to the underside of a desk to suspend the CPU therefrom but out of contact with the floor. The frame has four sides, each comprising a female section and a male section slidable therein. Two opposite corners of the frame comprise a pair of female sections connected together to form an L-shaped frame member, the remaining two corners of the frame comprising two male members connected together to provide an L-shaped frame part. The L-shaped male frame sections are slidable within the L-shaped female frame sections so that the length of all of the sides can be readily adjusted to suit the size of the CPU to be supported therein. Locking means fix the position of the movable frame parts when tightened so that the frame tightly grips the CPU. • Patent number: 6425562
Abstract: A bracket for suspending a washing basin from a cart having an upwardly extending frame member. The bracket includes a connector for engaging the frame member. In alternative embodiments, the connector is either a clamp operated by threaded fasteners, or a sleeve which encircles the frame member, the sleeve having an adapter which occupies the interior of the sleeve and cooperates closely with both the sleeve and with frame members of different cross sectional configurations. A stop prevents the sleeve from sliding downwardly along the frame member of the cart. Two rods project laterally from the sleeve on opposite sides thereof. One support arm is pivotally supported from each rod. The support arms have eyes for receiving fasteners which are threaded into the washing basin. The support arms are configured to support the washing basin at about a forty-five degree angle to a horizontal direction. The support arms are readily releasably attached to their respective rods.
