Abstract: A charging method in the field of vehicle technologies includes obtaining charging reservation information of an electric vehicle and target unlocking information of a charging port cover of an electric vehicle, generating a charging reservation request based on the charging reservation information and the target unlocking information, and sending the charging reservation request to a charging server, where the charging server may further send the target unlocking information to an unlocking device, so that when the electric vehicle needs to be charged by using the mobile charging vehicle, the unlocking device may unlock a charging port cover of the electric vehicle based on the target unlocking information.

Abstract: Systems and methods for optimization-based travel itinerary planning utilizing a multiattribute travel booking platform are described herein. The system has a database, a scheduler, a parser, and a processor. The database stores a travel lexicon having attribute names, a travel taxonomy having look-up tables, and user preferences for a user related to travel attributes. The scheduler instantiates the travel attributes in terms of the travel lexicon and indexes them, searches for feasible travel itineraries, and transmits an optimal travel itinerary. The parser parses the travel-related query and ascertains a relevant attribute set, which produces attribute values. The processor receives a travel-related query from a user device, receives the user preferences from the database, ranks and weights the attribute values, associates values to the feasible travel itineraries, scores the feasible travel itineraries, and selects the optimal travel itinerary.

Abstract: A service portal enables a user to request a service from a variety of service providers from the comfort of home or elsewhere. The user is able to place the order and pay for the service using a computing device. Depending on the service request, additional steps may be included such as scanning an item or a room, packaging an item, and/or other preparatory steps. Items are able to be identified via scanning. Order entry is able to be initiated via the scanned identification. The scanned items are able to be inventoried and managed. Augmented reality is able to be used with the scanned items. A standalone services app is able to provide entertainment and other accompanying services.

Abstract: An on-demand rental facility that can improve operational efficiency of a facility by improving convenience for a reservation person wherein a management server for managing information of the on-demand rental facility includes: a reservation manager that receives a reservation from a reservation person; a storage unit that stores reservation information on the reservation person and reservation date and time of a room and a parking lot 26 received by the reservation manager; a reservation person common key setting part that sets a reservation person unlocking key common to the room and the parking lot associated with the reservation information; and a reservation person key issuer that issues the set reservation person unlocking key to the reservation person. The reservation person can unlock the room and the parking lot by using the reservation person unlocking key, and the convenience for the reservation person can be improved.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for freight logistics management, the apparatus including a processor and a memory communicatively connected to the processor. The memory includes instructions configuring the processor to receive a freight data associated with a freight request, obtain a predetermined data, generate an adjusted waybill data comprising receiving adjusted waybill training data comprising a plurality of freight data correlated to a plurality of adjusted waybill data, training an adjusted waybill machine learning model as a function of the adjusted waybill training data, and generating the adjusted waybill data using the adjusted waybill machine learning model. The memory also includes instructions to compare the predetermined data to the adjusted waybill data, determine an updated freight schedule as function of the adjusted waybill data and the freight data, and transmit the updated freight schedule and the adjusted waybill data.

An example mobile robot includes an electronically securable storage compartment electronically controllable between a stored state and an accessible state. The example mobile robot further includes a user access controller configured to receive a user authorization indicating a desired user access to the electronically securable storage compartment. The user access controller may also trigger a mitigation protocol when the electronically securable storage compartment is accessed without receiving the user authorization.

The system includes a wireless accessory sensor node disposed on the receptacle that monitors at least one of the storage receptacle components of the receptacle to generate internal sensor data, includes a bridge node disposed on the receptacle, and includes an external sensor that is in communication with the bridge node and that is operative to monitor a local environment proximate the receptacle to generate external sensor data. The bridge node includes a processor configured to detect a wireless communication signal, identify the wireless communication signal as corresponding to one of a plurality of anticipated drop off entities, receive the external sensor data, generate carrying confirmation data related to whether a parcel customer is carrying a delivery item, transmit a drop off verification message, receive a drop off verification response message, and transmit an alternative drop off information message.

In addition, the methods and systems comprise transmitting one or more alternative options for mitigating the alert condition to a user, receiving a selection of one of the alternative options, and modifying the journey based on the received selection.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, apparatuses and methods for a tiered structure to manage a chain of custody for package delivery. More particularly, this disclosure describes a last mile transporter for package deliveries whereby package whereabouts are monitored through transmitters. In an illustrative embodiment, a vehicle, last mile transporter, and container each have a transmitter. The three transmitters may be used for tracking a package that is placed in the container. A chain of custody may be created when the at least one package is placed in the container. The container may be placed atop the last mile transporter. There is thus a relationship between the container and the transporter. In turn, the vehicle may also be in communication with the container and the transporter. Each device may be used to manage the package location through their appropriate transmitters.

Abstract: A system and method for real-time trip automation and event monitoring of shipments is disclosed. The system includes one or more containers, and monitoring devices configured in each container. These monitoring devices monitor the attributes of zones in the container and the location of the container during the trip. Further, a server receives a predefined trip automation rule associated with the container, being defined by the user. The server communicates with the monitoring devices to receive the set of data points pertaining to the location of the containers during the trip. Further, the server confirms and notifies the location and status of the containers by checking the location of the monitoring device, for a predefined number of consecutive data points, within or outside the geofence of the locations.
