Abstract: A container having a locking closure and a method of forming the locking closure. The container includes bottom, side and top walls and at least one of the walls being an opening wall formed of panels which provide an opening to an interior of the container and which overlap to provide the locking a closure of the opening wall. In a closed condition of the container, a bottommost panel of the opening wall is partially overlapped by adjacent panels of the opening wall and a topmost panel of the opening wall located opposite the bottommost panel partially overlaps the adjacent panels and the bottommost panel. A tab of the bottommost panel is lifted upwardly to partially overlap the topmost panel to form the locking closure.

Abstract: A child carrier consisting of an adult harness and child harness. The adult harness has an adjustable adult belt with cooperating interlocking closure members to secure the belt around the waist of an adult and adjustable shoulder straps secured to the belt. In some embodiments one end of the shoulder strap is secured to the adult belt by a center strap, secured at approximately the center of the back of the belt, by an adjustable connector. The other end of the shoulder straps can be adjustably affixed to a connector strap that is affixed to said adult belt adjacent to said child foot support member. A child foot support member has a center brace and footrests, preferably hingably attached to either side of the center brace which is secured to the adult belt. The child harness consists of an adjustable child belt dimensioned to fit around the body of the child with releasable securing members at each end.

Abstract: The invention relates to a roof luggage rack (2) for a motor vehicle, comprising at least one roof drip molding (3) provided with a fastening device (5) for the detachable installation on the roof of the motor vehicle. It is provided that the fastening device (5) is a sliding fastening device (6). The invention furthermore relates to a corresponding method for fastening the roof luggage rack (2).

Abstract: A tank assembly is configured for attachment to a mount of a tire carrier of a vehicle. The tank assembly includes a hub reservoir and a flange reservoir. The hub reservoir radially surrounds a central axis and is configured for connection to, and being supported by, the mount of the tire carrier. The flange reservoir extends radially from the hub reservoir about the central axis. The hub reservoir and the flange reservoir cooperate to define a cavity which is configured for holding a volume of fluid.

Abstract: A storage apparatus for a vehicle may include a rear bumper having a back beam mounted under an inner space thereof, and a storage case provided in a space above the rear bumper, having a portion exposed to the outside formed so as to coincide with an outer surface of the rear bumper, and drawn-out/drawn-in by being slid to the outside in a state in which a load is supported above the back beam.

Abstract: An apparatus for racking a watercraft on a vehicle, in particular, a Recreational Vehicle comprising: a first end configured to engage a receiver hitch, wherein the first end accommodates a portion of a watercraft; a second end spaced apart from the first end, the second end removably enclosing another portion of the watercraft; and a connecting member connecting the first end with the second end. Also, a method for racking a watercraft on a vehicle comprising: providing a watercraft rack, the watercraft rack including a first end having a lower support frame, a connecting member connecting the first end to a spaced apart second end, the second end having an upper support frame; removably engaging the first end of the watercraft rack with a standard receiving hitch; accommodating a portion of a watercraft with the first end; and removably enclosing another portion of the watercraft within the second end.

Abstract: An attachment mechanism is described for attaching accessories to a stake hole in the sidewall of a cargo area of a vehicle, such as a pickup truck. The mechanism comprises of a base plate with a grove formed in the top of the base plate having the shape of an inverted T. An attachment plate having a connector, also having the shape of an inverted T, is attached to the bottom surface of the attachment plate. An attachment such as a tie down ring, a tie down anchor, a flag pole or tent pole holder or the like is attached to the top surface of the attachment plate. The attachment plate can then be attached to the base plate by sliding the inverted T shaped connector into the inverted T shaped groove in the base plate. Another attachment mechanism is described which can be used to attach accessories to vehicles without stake holes or to other regions of a vehicle.

Abstract: Cartons have dispensing features that enable containers or other articles to be selectively dispensed from the cartons while preventing inadvertent escape of the articles from the cartons. A carton can have an exiting end panel closing an interior space and a dispenser pattern defining a dispenser having a bottom door extending across the exiting end panel. The dispenser pattern can comprise a plurality of tear lines that define a removable portion comprising at least a portion of the exiting end flap, the top panel, and at least one of the first side panel and the second side panel. The dispenser pattern further comprises a pivot line in the bottom panel, a first line, and a second line that are for enabling pivoting of the bottom door about the pivot line.

Abstract: A pivoting wheelchair backpack holder is provided. The pivoting wheelchair backpack includes a lever rod and a swing-out handle to move the lever rod, a frame moved by the lever rod, and a backpack attached to the frame. In its closed position, the backpack rests behind the user sitting in the wheelchair with the handle positioned flush to the side of the wheelchair. The user grabs the handle from its resting position, locks the handle into place against the lever rod, and pulls the handle to move the lever rod. The lever rod opens the frame, which then moves from the back of the wheelchair to the side of the wheelchair. A second hinged joint between the lever rod and frame allows the user to pull the backpack down toward the user. The user can access the backpack now at his or her side. The user can close the frame by pushing the frame back up, moving the handle in the opposite direction and replacing the handle to its resting position.

Abstract: A tower device for supporting a crossbar over the roof of a vehicle includes a tower body, a clip retention mechanism and a clip selected to adapt to a particular vehicle profile. Various mechanisms may be used to secure the clip to the clip receiving mechanism. For example, a lock body may insert through coinciding apertures in a clip and clip receiver. A spring retainer may slide into slots or grooves in the lock body to prevent the lock body from disengaging. Other mechanism employ lock mounts that pivot to swing lock bodies through apertures in the clip and clip receiver.

Abstract: The present disclosure is an altered backpack, which allows the wearer to reconfigure the shoulder straps while wearing, swing the backpack around to the wearer's front, and access the contents of the backpack while still wearing the backpack.

Abstract: A container (2) and closure (4) arrangement where the container includes a closure displacement lever (16) to assist a user with removal of the closure. The lever is pivotally connected to the container at one end (20) and the other end (18) is free for manipulation by a user. In use, a skirt of the closure sits over part of the lever, so that movement of the free end of the lever in a direction away from the container exerts a force on the skirt to facilitate removal of the closure from the container.

Abstract: The tamper indicating closure disclosed herein is designed for use with containers having a threaded neck section and an annular bead or flange located below the threaded neck section. The tamper indicating closure includes a cap with a top wall and a downwardly extending annular side wall. The cap includes a thread on the inner surface of the side wall for locating the closure on the threaded section of the container neck, and a tamper indicating member is connected to the lower section of the side wall. The tamper indicating member includes an annular band with a plurality of upwardly extending locking tabs. A plurality of flexible hinges are used to interconnect the locking tabs and the annular band. The locking tabs are configured to react against the annular head or flange of the container neck to prevent the removal of the annular band from the container when the closure is in a closed position.

Abstract: A resealable flip-top beverage can lid has a lid having a rim disposed on the periphery thereof; a swinging seal positioned to seal an opening in the lid; and a tab rotatably attached to the lid with a rivet. The tab has a hole punching lip and an extended lifting section on opposite sides of the rivet. The extended lifting section extending at least to the rim and is shaped to cover and substantially seal the opening in the lid. While it is preferred that the seal be strong enough to maintain any carbonation within the beverage can, a weaker seal is also beneficial in excluding insects and preventing or limiting spills. The extended lifting section preferably further includes a rim locking section to locks onto the rim of the lid.
