Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of purchasing one or more goods from a physical store through a virtual environment. The method includes obtaining one or more physical store details and one or more user details from a user device for authenticating a physical user. Further, a unique avatar indicative of a virtual user corresponding to the physical user is generated. Furthermore, the virtual environment comprising one or more virtual stores is generated from a real-time video. The virtual environment is provided to the user device. Subsequently, an optimal path for traversing the virtual user in the virtual environment is determined in real-time based on one or more shopping details and a time period associated with the one or more shopping details. Finally, the virtual user is navigated in the one or more virtual stores through the optimal path for purchasing the one or more goods.

  • Patent number: 11556842
Abstract: A cognitive system (artificial intelligence) is optimized by assessing different data augmentation methods used to augment training data, and then training the system using a training set augmented by the best identified method. The augmentation methods are assessed by applying them to the same set of training data to generate different augmented training data sets. Respective instances of the cognitive system are trained with the augmented sets, and each instance is subjected to validation testing to assess its goodness. The validation testing can include multiple validation tests leading to component scores, and a combined validation score is computed as a weighted average of the component scores using respective weights for each validation test. The augmentation method corresponding to the instance having the highest combined validation score is selected as the optimum augmentation method for the particular cognitive system at hand.

  • Patent number: 11543942
Abstract: A system may provide, via a user interface, information identifying two or more of trending search-related information, trending video-related information, trending image-related information, or trending news-related information. The two or more of the trending search-related information, the trending video-related information, the trending image-related information, or the trending news-related information are visually presented as graphical items. Each graphical item, of the graphical items, is visually identified as corresponding to the trending search-related information, the trending video-related information, the trending image-related information, or the trending news-related information. The user interface presents multiple graphical items simultaneously. The system may further receive information identifying a topic, and provide, based on receiving the information identifying the topic, a subsequent group of graphical items, on the user interface.

  • Patent number: 11516198
Abstract: There is a technique that displays a QR code in which a URL of an error information site is embedded on a display in a case where an error occurs in a printer or the like and allows an access to the error information site by a mobile terminal capturing the QR code. However, on a condition that the size of the display is small, there is a case where it is not possible to display the QR code in which the URL of the error information site is embedded. In an electronic device mounting a display, an access code indicating first resource specification information for redirect is created and the created access code is displayed on the display. Then, the first resource specification information has a data amount corresponding to an access code of a size than can be displayed on the display.

  • Patent number: 11474665
Abstract: An approach for using multiple menus with a graphical user interface is disclosed. A multiple menu comprises a menu panel with two or more selection regions, each of which is associated with a base menu. A user requests the menu panel without selecting a menu object displayed on a display unit, such as by right-clicking. The menu panel is displayed along with one base menu, and other base menus are displayed by the user moving the cursor to another selection region. The user selects a menu item from a base menu to cause the application to execute the function associated with the menu item. The selection regions of the menu panel do not include information describing the content of the associated base menus. By arranging the base menus around the menu panel, cursor movement is minimized to improve user efficiency in using the application.

  • Patent number: 11467666
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques, including devices and system implementing the techniques, to provide feedback to a user of an event when the user is wearing a wearable device. For example, the wearable device may provide high quality noise canceling audio playback to the user, lowering the user's situation awareness. The techniques include measuring ambient sound using two or more microphones on the wearable device. The event is determined based on the measured ambient sound. A location attribute of the event is determined. A deep learning algorithm may be used to identify the nature and/or classification of the event and rule out events that the user prefers to ignore. Upon determining the event that merits the user's attention, the user is provided feedback of the determined event and the location attribute, the feedback indicating the nature and location of the event.

  • Patent number: 11422667
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to providing a dynamic graphical user interface for efficiently presenting users with relevant ride information throughout the fulfilment of a ride request. In some embodiments, the system detects a trigger event during a ride, and based on detecting the trigger event, the system expands or collapses an information portion within a graphical user interface. When in a collapsed state, for example, the information portion of the graphical user interfaces includes a first set of content. Upon detecting a trigger event, the system dynamically expands the information portion to provide a second set of content that includes information associated with the detected trigger.

  • Patent number: 11418409
Abstract: An architecture-specific web-based executable specification tool maintains specification information and metadata for chip and system on a chip (SoC) design. Metadata available in the development ecosystem may be leveraged to improve the specification-to-design process. A unified, integrated environment for subsystem creation, SoC integration, and SoC specification teams is presented using a tool that comprehends SoC constructs. A modern web-based framework (not stand-alone tool) provides collaboration capabilities and allows visual representation and manipulation of data. Connection fabrics (e.g., network on a chip (NoC)) and other project-specific infrastructure can be configured and synthesized on demand and brought in to the design using the common environment. Netlists and other connectivity data can be fed into automated RTL generation processes directly, or used as a reference for implementation design teams.
