  • Patent number: 10687612
Abstract: An oral cleaning device includes an elongated, hollow body, a cleaning head, and a neck portion extending between the hollow body and the cleaning head. The neck portion forms a fluid channel between the hollow body and the cleaning head and the cleaning head includes at least one opening in fluid communication with the fluid channel. The device further includes a plunger located within the hollow body, movable between a first position and a second position, and a solution chamber formed within the hollow body which contains a cleaning solution and is in fluid communication with the fluid channel in the neck portion. A cleaning end of the plunger is configured to move the cleaning solution in the solution chamber through the fluid channel and through the at least one opening in the cleaning head when the plunger is moved from the first position toward the second position.

  • Patent number: 10683472
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods for improving safety and delivery of commercial application of cleaning compositions that include enzymes and other protein irritants. The methods reduce the mist and aerosolization of proteins so that inhalation and exposure to the same are reduced. According to the invention, when commercial pressurized sprayers are used to apply protein containing use cleaning compositions of up to 5 ppm protein, aerosolization is decreased to below 60 ng active protein per meter cubed. Applicants have also identified a specific metering tip/nozzle, dispense rate, and low pressure application of not more than 100 psi are critical to achieving the benefits of the invention.

  • Patent number: 10661205
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for self-cleaning filters without having to open the filter housing. Wash nozzles are integrated with the filter housings such that when the filters are clogged, both back-wash and regular washing can be performed with practically no down time. Moreover, without opening the filter housing, the hazardous components of the fluid to be filtered can be contained and dealt with before they escape the filter housing, thereby significantly reduces the environmental impact and harm to the working crew.

  • Patent number: 10639665
Abstract: In a substrate processing apparatus, an ejection surface of an ejection head located at a standby position is immersed in an immersion liquid retained in a reservoir during standby of the ejection head. This prevents drying of a plurality of outlets provided in the ejection head and drying of processing liquid flow passages that communicate with the outlets. It is thus possible to suppress or prevent clogging of the fine outlets. When the ejection head resumes processing on a substrate, the immersion liquid in the reservoir is discharged and then a liquid removing part removes the immersion liquid adhering to the ejection surface. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the immersion liquid remaining on the ejection surface from dropping and adhering to the substrate (so-called “liquid dripping”) when, for example, the ejection head is moved to a position above the substrate.

  • Patent number: 10634440
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for cleaning a 3D printed article, in particular a 3D printed heat exchanger. After 3D printing, an article may have internal passages formed from bonded powder and said passages may contain unbonded powder that needs to be removed before further use of/processing of the article. To remove this unbonded powder, the article is filled with a cleaning fluid and vibrated. The cleaning fluid is then pumped out of the article and past a sensor that generates a magnetic field. The sensor detects the presence of powder particles in the fluid by detecting a perturbation of the magnetic field caused by said particles. The fluid is then filtered and returned to a reservoir for use. The sensor may indicate the article is sufficiently clean when a detected concentration of particles in the fluid drops below a threshold.

  • Patent number: 10632506
Abstract: Provided are a cleaning method and cleaning device for cleaning with micro/nano-bubbles, with which a simple method of spraying a treatment solution containing micro/nano-bubbles onto a substrate to be processed makes it possible to efficiently and reliably peel off residual resist or remove contaminants from the substrate, while reducing an environmental load. This cleaning method is characterized in that, with respect to a substrate to be treated to which a resist film has adhered onto the substrate or a substrate to be treated to which the surface thereof has been contaminated with a metal or metal compounds, the resist film is peeled off or the metals or metal compounds are removed by spraying onto the substrate to be treated a treatment solution containing gaseous micro/nano-bubbles and having a temperature maintained at 30° C. to 90° C.
