Abstract: The invention relates to an air cargo container with an interior space limited by a wall and sealed against the exterior for avoiding an entry of fluid. The wall comprises a first operating configuration wherein said interior space limited by the wall has a first volume VI1. Furthermore, in case of a fire the wall is deformed into a second operating configuration wherein said interior space limited by the wall comprises a second volume VI2 being smaller than the first volume VI1. A check valve blocks fluid from streaming from the exterior into the interior space but opens for a stream from the interior space to the exterior. An actuation means for changing the operating configuration in case of a fire automatically transfers the wall from the first operating configuration into the second operating configuration. During this transfer fluid is pushed from said interior space via the check valve to the exterior.

Abstract: A filler neck for the fuel tank of a motor vehicle has a funnel insert having a lockable flap with a lock, which is held by two elements which can each be pivoted about a pin. The flap is released only when both elements are pivoted to one side simultaneously by the filler tube of a gas pump nozzle. In order to open the flap with minimal actuating forces, the first element can be pivoted about a first pin and holds the hinge pin for the flap on its end far from the first pin, and the second element can be pivoted about a second pin and forms a locking hook. The two pins have a spatial distance from one another in the transverse direction and the two elements are loaded with respect to one another by at least one spring.

The cover apparatus includes a cover configured to be pivotably coupled to a body of the electronic device to open or close a portion of the body, and an elastic member, one end of which is supported by the cover, and the other end of which is supported by the body. The elastic member provides a driving force to pivot the cover in a direction for opening the portion of the body, and the cover includes a seating portion configured to fix the one end of the elastic member.

The closure includes a body having an open bottom formed of a skirt that defines an outer periphery of the body and an end wall defining at least one body dispensing aperture. A cover has two or more cover dispensing apertures and is rotatably coupled to the body and movable between a dispensing position with at least one of the cover dispensing apertures aligned with the body dispensing aperture, and a closed position. A handle has segments extending between each of the cover dispensing apertures, and one or more cover position stops provide a tactile or an audible indication when the cover is moved to either of the dispensing position or the closed position.

Abstract: A universal adapter assembly system for container bottles using existing dispensing pumps or existing bottle caps includes a plurality of adapter members. Each adapter member is sized to receive and couple to a container bottle having a different sized bottle neck from which the dispensing pump or bottle cap is removed. The system also has a base member with a body sized to fit and releasably couple to each of the plurality of adapter members. The base member has a cap movable between an open position and a closed position relative to the base member body, the cap having an outer portion configured to support the container bottle in an upside down orientation on a supporting surface.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for storing an elongated article, such as a light string or the like. The apparatus includes a hollow tube and an elongated sock. The elongated sock is fed onto the hollow tube such that end of said sock is in proximity to the end of the tube. In use, one end of the elongated article is inserted through the hollow tube and is pulled through the tube along with the sock. As the length of the elongated article is pulled through the tube along with the sock, the length of the elongated article is disposed within the length of the sock.

Abstract: A watercraft fuel cap having the ability to lock in place to a common fuel filler receiver and having a series of unique downward slot designs and necessitating a matching downward slot designed key for tightening or removing the fuel cap from the fuel filler receiver. The fuel cap would also have the ability for a tethering device which attaches the fuel cap and the fuel receiver together. When the fuel cap is removed for the re-fueling process the tether allows for removal but limits the distance the fuel cap can be moved away from the fuel filler receiver. The tether keeps the fuel cap from being missed placed or falling into the water.

Abstract: An adhesive melter includes a melter tank with an interior communicating with a top opening, a sealing flange surrounding the top opening, and a lid assembly. The lid assembly includes guide rails and a lid for sliding on the guide rails between an open position exposing the top opening a closed position over the top opening. The lid includes a closure surface that slides generally along a plane of the sealing flange when the lid slides on the guide rails, and the closure surface also moves in a direction transverse to the plane defined by the sealing flange simultaneous to this sliding movement. The sliding movement of the lid enables an operator to grasp the handle and control the lid movement over the full range of lid movement, while the transverse movement of the closure surface avoids stiction forces from preventing sliding movement.

Abstract: A protective shield fits onto a fuel cylinder that is mounted on a propane-powered or LNG-powered vehicle, with a cylindrical flange on the tank surrounds a tank valve. The protective shield is formed of a cylindrical wall of a rubber-like material that fits snugly onto the cylindrical flange of the fuel tank, and has a window affixed into its upper end of the cylindrical wall. The window can be a disk of transparent plexiglass. There are openings in the cylindrical wall to access the tank valve. The shield provides visibility of the tank valve but prevents any spray of the fuel that may escape from the tank valve from reaching the worker's face or other exposed skin.
