Abstract: A motor-less leg-powered curved treadmill produced that allows people to walk, jog, run, and sprint without making any adjustments to the treadmill other than shifting the user's center of gravity forward and backwards. A closed loop treadmill belt running between front and rear pulley rollers is formed with a low friction running surface of transverse aluminum, wooden, plastic, rubber or carbon fiber slats attached to each other in a resilient fashion. Since an essential feature of treadmill is the concave shape of the running surface of belt in its respective upper portion, the treadmill configurations insure that this shape is maintained during actual use. These configurations prevent the concave upper running surface portion from being pulled taut into a flat shape between the front and rear pulley rollers.
Abstract: An exercise system includes a handle having a shaft, a head, a spindle, and a loop. The shaft extends from a first end to a second end. The head has a top, a bottom, a front, and a rear, the top opposite the bottom, the front opposite the rear, the bottom of the head affixed to the second end of the shaft. The spindle has a ring and is positioned at the front of the head with the spindle rotatably supported upon the head. The loop is affixed to the top of the head. The exercise system includes one or more elastic exercise cords configured to selectively connect to the loop or the ring. The exercise system may include one or more kettleballs configured to selectively connect to the one or more elastic exercise cords. The kettleballs and/or elastic exercise cords may be moved in a circular motion.
Abstract: A spinner bike with adjustable magnetic resistance includes a generator, a disc plate, a magnetic resistance adjusting apparatus and a resistance adjusting apparatus. The elements are disposed on a frame body of a spinner bike, so that a pedaling mechanism of the spinner bike can be operated to drive a flywheel and the disc plate for generating electricity by the cutting of flux formed by a plurality of magnets surrounding an armature core. Rotating a button of the resistance adjusting apparatus enables a connecting rod operating a pulling cable, so as to further alter coverage of the flux on the disc plate for adjustment of the loading resistance.
Abstract: A hybrid resistance adjustment system is used on an exercise bike which has a frame and a flywheel, and the hybrid resistance adjustment system has a resistance assembly, a manual adjustment assembly, and an electronic adjustment assembly. The resistance assembly is mounted on the frame and has a mounting seat pivotally connected to the frame, a brake pad and a magnetic set. The mounting seat is pivotally connected to the frame. The brake pad and the magnetic set are mounted on the mounting seat. The manual adjustment assembly is mounted on the frame and has a shaft. The electronic adjustment assembly is mounted on the frame and has a linearly movable component and a motor. The motor is connected to the linearly movable component. The shaft and the linearly movable component selectively push the mounting seat to simultaneously make the brake pad abut against the flywheel.
Abstract: A weight lifting system includes a first weight, having a first cavity extending from a bottom surface of the first weight to an interior of the first weight; the first cavity is configured to receive a first hand of a user; and the first cavity positions the first hand in an open position, thereby forcing the user to press the first weight without forming a grip.
Abstract: According to one example, an exercise system includes a base, a vertical housing extending vertically outward from the base, a first weighted touchpoint moveably coupled to the vertical housing, a second weighted touchpoint moveably coupled to the vertical housing, and one or more weight systems configured to provide weight to the weighted touchpoints. The exercise system further includes a control system that determines randomized workouts that include a random selection of a muscle group, a weight amount, a weight differential, a number of sets of an exercise, and/or a number of repetitions in the set. The control system may also cause the weight system to adjust the weight of the weighted touchpoints based on the randomized workout.

Abstract: A system for measuring, displaying, storing and utilizing user-specific exercise data from selectorized fitness machines, including the weight, repetitions, and any other physical parameters derivable from the weight and displacement of the weight stack. The system is comprised of two coupled sensor systems: an infrared sensor and multiple Hall effect sensors. The sensors are mounted to an adjustable stand that can be retrofitted to any selectorized fitness machine. The system analyzes the measurements and sends the data to a server for storage on a per-user basis. Users are identified by a near-field communication (NFC) tag or facial recognition. The system uses an innovative coupled NFC/QR/facial recognition—Bluetooth paradigm to transmit exercise data in real-time to the Bluetooth-enabled mobile device of the user. A mobile application allows users to view the exercise data, to follow predefined workout plan, and to retrieve stored data from a remote server.
