Abstract: A method of manufacturing building-wall flexible cladding (12) for a wall of a building so that a cladding outer surface of the building-wall flexible cladding (12) matches or substantially matches a textured wall surface of the wall of the building. This is first achieved by selecting the wall to be modelled (S101) and forming an impression of the wall (S102). An absorbent flexible substrate (18) is provided (S103), and a wet mixture (24) created (S105) and applied to the substrate (18, S106) to form one or more tiles (24a). The wet mixture (24) is textured by applying the impression so that the cladding outer surface corresponds or substantially corresponds to the said textured wall surface (S108). Finally, the textured wet mixture is cured (S109).
Abstract: An expansion joint system for supporting and distributing transfer loads and for splicing adjacent systems together. The system includes an elongated core and at least three longitudinal load-transfer members with hollow cylindrical profiles within the elongated core and terminating at each face of the elongated core. The system may include splicing members sized to transition fit into each of the longitudinal load-transfer members to provide an interlocking body to join adjacent expansion joint systems.

Abstract: A flooring assembly comprising a flooring unit comprising a stability core layer having a plurality of edge surfaces, two of which have an interlocking mechanism for attachment to the edge surfaces of the stability core of adjacent flooring units; a sound attenuating acoustic layer attached to the bottom surface of the stability core layer; and a finish layer attached to the top surface of said stability core layer.
Abstract: A roof mounted diverting device for diverting a direction of flow of gas from a roof-penetrating pipe is provided. The roof-penetrating pipe has a central axis. The device includes a diverter having a lower opening and an upper opening, the upper opening having a central axis; and a seal having a seal opening, the seal opening being con figured to contact an outer surface of the roof-penetrating pipe and form a gas-tight seal with the roof-penetrating pipe. In an assembled state of the device, any of the gas that enters the diverter can only exit the diverter through the upper opening or through the roof-penetrating pipe, and the diverter is installable in multiple different positions, each of die different positions having a different included angle between the central axis of the upper opening and the central axis of the roof-penetrating pipe.
Abstract: An elongated gap filler is provided including a first panel and a second panel in a V configuration joined at an apex, a first extension wall extending from the first panel, a first sealer wall extending downward and transversely to the first extension wall, and a second extension wall extending from the second panel. The first sealer wall can seal against a surface of a wall and set a depth of insertion of the first and second panels and first extension wall into a gap between building surfaces, e.g., a wall top and a ceiling or roof. The second extension wall can be arcuate and can bend against the ceiling or roof. The first sealer wall can be arcuate and can bend against a vertical wall surface. The apex can include a U-shaped groove to enhance articulation of the panels. A related method of use also is provided.
Abstract: A flooring system includes a gridwork having a modular configuration that defines a grid with cells for receiving a filler material which forms a bed or floor base sloping toward a drain fixture. The gridwork includes different groupings of leveling holes located at selected junctions between adjacent cells that are arranged to selectively move or tilt the gridwork relative to an underlying base in conjunction with the formation of the bed or floor base.
Abstract: A joint comprising: a tenon, a mortise for receiving the tenon, an aperture formed in one of the tenon and an interior wall of the mortise and a pin which extends from the other of the tenon and the interior wall of the mortise; wherein the aperture is a hole which is engaged by the pin in use such that the tenon is supported within the aperture, and the tenon is capable of vertical and horizontal motion within the mortise in a plane substantially orthogonal to a longitudinal axis of the pin, the motion being limited by the edges of the aperture.
Abstract: A fastening element which can be mounted on the upper side of a positionable formwork wall of a formwork system. The fastening element has an angular element with a first leg and a second leg. The first leg can take the form of a mounting part which can be fastened in a reversibly releasable manner to the positionable formwork wall. As an alternative to this, the first leg can be arranged directly or indirectly on the mounting part. The free end of the second leg has a connection possibility for a push-pull prop or is connected to a push-pull prop. The angular element is preferably designed to be pivotable with respect to the mounting part. With the positionable formwork wall set up, the positionable formwork wall can form, together with the fastening element and the push-pull prop, an arch into which a closing formwork wall can be inserted.

Abstract: A cladding system that is used to form a building envelope is disclosed. The system includes pre-fabricated modular cladding panels, each including a composite layer mounted onto metal or alloy sub-frame. The composite layer provides an outer insulation to the system, and a generally flat outer surface to which a veneer may be mounted. The composite layer further acts as an air and vapour barrier for the building envelope. The sub-frames may connect to one another by a tongue and groove interconnect.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein may be directed to the functional application and method of use of a jacking screw for adjusting a window frame. In accordance with the present disclosure, adjusting the jacking screw may cause a first portion of the window frame to be lifted or lowered with respect to a second portion of the window frame. In doing so, a desired alignment of a window installed in the window frame may be achieved. This process may eliminate the use of shimming the underlying surface, thereby making it easier to install the window frame on surfaces that are not perfectly level.
Abstract: An acoustic drop ceiling product, a dynamic acoustic drop ceiling system and related methods that include multiple differently shaped drop ceiling products that can be quickly and easily installed into a backer panel and ten onto construction drop ceiling hangers, to provide an aesthetically pleasing image, such as an undulating image, along with a reduction in unwanted noise or room acoustics.
